– Coming out of the commercial break, Blake Howard had a backstage interview with Tony D’Angelo. Before Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana signed their contracts, and before and after Grayson Waller’s run at NXT, it has been Big PLE after PLE for Tony D. Now, he’s started to think that his competitors forgot who they’re stepping in the ring with. The only NXT Grands Slam Champion in history, but they’re only concerned about the title, because what it could potentially do for their careers. Perfect example, Bron Breakker and Oba Femi are battling it out on Raw to see who the future of WWE is. Now, The Ruler may want you to forget it, but Tony D put him down first. The prestige of the NXT Championship is what brought Grayson Waller back to NXT, to correct his career. Tony D says that Cruz Montana left his position as the top dog in TNA to get a shot at the NXT Championship. Zilla Fatu chose to carve his own path instead of going to The Bloodline for this title. This Sunday at NXT Heatwave, they got their reasons, and Tony D has his. He beat three men to win this title, and he’ll beat three more to keep it. He’ll see everybody at the NXT Heatwave Summit.

– We got a vignette for The Vanity Project who took Sarah Schreiber bowling. Swipe Right are not buying this notion that Myles Borne and Tavion Heights are real friends, let alone a real tag team. Jackson Drake says that they’re locked in. They all traveled the roads together on the indies and during their time in WWE EVOLVE. Myka Lockwood gets upset at Brad Baylor for flirting with girls when it was his turn to bowl. Jackson calls Myka the most dominant woman in the WWE. Myka says that it’s time to cash in and win all the gold. Vanity Project are planning to leave Texas with both the NXT North American Championship and The WWE NXT Tag Team Championships.

NATTIE & Jaida Parker Segment

NATTIE: Ok, guys, ok. I came to NXT, because I wanted to fight Jaida Parker. You see, I saw something in Jaida that was so special, something I haven’t seen in any woman in a very long time. Jaida looks like a million bucks, she speaks like a million bucks, she wrestles like a million bucks, and she can knock me on my ass. But I also saw something else. Wasted potential. You see, Jaida has all the tools, but she has no idea what to do with any of it. Jaida lost a couple of matches, Jaida got soft, Jaida got comfortable, and guess who exposed her? Me. Jaida, that was the best thing that ever happened to you, because guess what you did? You stepped up, you started wrestling better, you started speaking better, and you started believing that you can run this division. Jaida, I gave you the most valuable asset in all of women’s wrestling, my attention. And Jaida, you are a possibility that I turn into reality, you’re welcome.

Jaida Parker: Nattie, Nattie, Nattie. Since you came to NXT, you’ve been trying to prove to me and everybody that I’m exactly who you say I am. What you said, wasted potential? Soft? Doesn’t belong here? It doesn’t sound like it to me. But yeah, Nattie, I did question myself, I took a lot of losses, but I take a lot of losses very hard, so, baby, you’re not special. So, please, understand that I see you, I see straight through you. Yes, you have records, you have the legacy, but you and I both know, this isn’t out of the goodness of your heart. You saw a woman on the come up, and you tried to break me. So, everybody say, thank you to Nattie, because you reminded me just who the hell Jaida Parker is. I am not one of your little friends, I don’t need your acceptance, I don’t want your experience, and I damn sure don’t need you out of all people trying to tell me who the hell I am. If anything, you should be thanking me, with your ungrateful ass. Because when you want to become the topic of discussion again, you came to the right person, you’re welcome.

Nattie: There she is, there’s the Jaida that I’ve been dying to see, and she finally came out. Amazing, amazing. You know what, I don’t want a regular match with you, Jaida. At Heatwave in Texas, I want a Submission Match with you, bitch.

Jaida Parker: Back up. If that’s what you want, I promise you, that’s what you’re going to get, because you may be the Lowkey Legend, but at Heatwave, I’m going to High-Key wax that ass. Because everybody is going to be chanting, Miss Parker, bitch.

Kelani Jordan Promo

Everybody loves to talk about their journey to WWE, how they transitioned from one sport to another, the time they spent training, finding themselves, fighting just to get on TV. But I didn’t have to do any of that, I was gifted. I’ve been the standout since I put pen to paper on a WWE Contract. Oba Femi, Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, all athletes who have successfully crossed over into WWE have followed my path, the difference is that I did it faster. Eight months was all I needed. I didn’t need the indies, I didn’t need EVOLVE, I didn’t need AAA, I didn’t need a famous last name, and I sure as hell didn’t need a group to make me relevant. The Standout is the most athletic woman to step foot in a WWE ring. My first shot at the North American Championship, I won that in a Ladder Match. My first shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship, I won that, too, in hostile territory. You might as well call myself, One Shot Lani, because in my first shot at the NXT Women’s Championship, I am going to beat Kendal Grey. Because when your name is Kelani Jordan, you don’t need years to become a star, you just need an opportunity, and no one does it like Lani.

Zilla Fatu Promo

Hello! Looks like Heatwave got a whole lot hotter, because Zilla Fatu went from being the number one free agent, to being the number one contender for the NXT Championship. Now, everybody has got eyes on me, and that’s exactly how I like it. You see this chain, my dad Umaga, I wear this on my neck and I carry his legacy with me every day. You see, my last name is a blessing and it’s a burden, but when it’s all said and done, you’ve got to remember my first more than my last, because I’m not just another nepo baby, Bloodline baby, whatever you want to call it, I’m a grown ass man who paid his own way to get here. And yeah, I get excited when I talk, but I get even more excited when it’s time to throw down. You see, I ain’t gonna lie, everywhere I go, drama here, drama there, controversy here, controversy there, because it’s part of The Zilla Fatu Show, believe that. Getting here was half the battle, but chance of me becoming the NXT Champion after my first match, hello. You may think I got this title shot for a lot of reasons, and to be honest, the answer is simple. I came in and I made a Legendary Splash. Over 25 million viewers on social media, and that was just my debut, now imagine what I do this Sunday. At Heatwave, Fatal Four-Way, Tony D, Montana, Grayson Waller, it don’t matter to me, they all can get it. And after Sunday, when I’m done with them, they’re going to know why they call me, The Main One.

– Kendal Grey (c) vs. Kelani Jordan For The WWE NXT Women’s Championship

– Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Cruz Montana vs. Zilla Fatu vs. Grayson Waller In A Fatal Four-Way Match For The WWE NXT Championship

The NXT Heatwave Summit

Kendal Grey: Okay, okay, okay, I’m gonna get straight to the point. Look, I heard everything Kelani had to say, and honestly, she’s right. She is that good, but she’s always complaining, she’s always making excuses. And if she wants to talk about picking things up fast, I mean, I can talk about that myself. I mean, last year, I was still on EVOLVE, barely on NXT, and no one knew who Kendal Grey was. But now I’m standing here as the former WWE EVOLVE Champion, The 2025 Iron Survivor, and your NXT Women’s Champion. So, if Kelani wants to call herself, The Standout, she can go right ahead, but when it comes to division, I am the benchmark. And after winning this title, I didn’t have to have my first defense against a future Hall Of Famer, but I did. And when Lola Vice wanted a rematch, I didn’t have to have it in an underground, but I did. And when I got injured, I could’ve taken time off, I could’ve rested. Hell, there’s people in this company that go hundreds of days without defending their title, but that’s not me, that’s not the champion that I am. I mean, I was the person who went to Stone and got the contract for Kelani in the first place. So, now it’s time for Kelani to put her money where her mouth is, because at Heatwave, the target is on my back, and she better not miss.

Kelani Jordan: Look, Kendal, I’m gonna say this loud and clear, so make sure you use your good ear. That target on your back, I put that there. But that’s a good thing, because at Heatwave, it’s only gonna take me one shot. So, keep calling yourself the benchmark, because on Sunday, The Standout is gonna take your title, and put your ass right back on the bench.

Wren Sinclair: Sorry, but no, because we’re gonna be in my home state, and that calls for a Texas sized WrenQCC-CC, that stands for Championship Celebration if you didn’t get it, because we’re gonna bring home all of the gold.

Zaria: It’s gonna be in my home state. You know, that’s cute, Wren, but it’s delusional. Maybe you should call it, The WrenQCC-See You Later being a champion. I don’t care how many friends or family you bring to witness at Heatwave, I will leave you laying, once again. And I will erase every bad memory that Speed Title has haunted me with, forever.

Kali Armstrong: Oh, yeah. Hey Wren and Zaria, I got something to say. Y’all memory must be terrible, because last time I checked, I already beat both of y’all delusional heffers, and I did it back-to-back. Hey, straight up, I’m coming home with both them titles, straight like that, that’s what I’m saying. So, I hope y’all ready, neither of y’all coming home with the titles.

Grayson Waller: Hello! Ladies, great to look at, hard to listen to. I love the energy though, and it’s great to see the 10% that I’ve been talking about, all in one ring, but I’ve got this from here. So, you girls used to be the highlight of the show until Grayson Waller decided to come back. I am NXT. And Sunday night at Heatwave, you girls are gonna do so well, but the world isn’t gonna talk about you lasses, the world is not gonna be talking about any of those lucha losers from AAA and their little stunt show, the world is gonna be talking one man and one thing, and that is Grayson Waller conquering his demons and becoming NXT Champion.

Tony D’Angelo: Hold up a second there, guy. Grayson, you came back to NXT to reinvent yourself, but I don’t give a damn if this is Grayson Waller 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, because you’re gonna do the same thing you always do, be a disappointment.

Cruz Montana: YERP! Hey, yo NXT, what’s good? Well, damn, I knew that NXT was a bit dysfunctional, and now that I’m in the thick of it, I believe every word. But to tell you the truth, I kind of like it. But the difference between me and everyone else is the fact that y’all came out here to talk, and I came here to throw hands.

All hell starts breaking loose in Winter Park. Zaria drops Armstrong with The X-Factor. Sinclair responds with The X-Factor. Sinclair ducks a clothesline from Jordan. Grey with The Discus Back Elbow Smash. Zilla Fatu slides into the ring. Fatu wipes out Waller, Angelo and Montana with a Flying Crossbody Block to the outside. Fatu poses with the NXT Championship as the show goes off the air.

“Respect to the ruler, I acknowledge The OTC, but Adam Pearce if you’re listening, can you make one change for me? That’s Logan Paul. Paul, can we fire Logan Paul? Paul, Paul, can we fire Logan Paul? Everyone. Paul, Paul, we can fire Logan Paul? Paul, Paul, can we fire Logan Paul?”
