Cruz Montana Promo
You want to know what’s the worst part of last week? Wasn’t the embarrassment, wasn’t the fact that I got escorted out of the arena on live TV, hell, it was even Dion thinking that he got one up on me. No, it was I felt, it was that damn call that I had to make. Because while the security had me pinned down, for a split second, I wasn’t the Cruz Montana that you see today, I wasn’t the man who had sacrificed everything just to be able to look at the man in the mirror and be proud of him. I was the other guy. I was the man I spent years trying to keep buried away. But Dion, it was your hands that brought that out of me, and when I get my hands on you, there ain’t nobody that’s gonna be able to pull me away. Izzi Dame Promo
Zaria, I knew your mask would slip eventually, I just had no idea it would happen this quickly. Last week, you offered up a North American Title Match, because you would rather risk losing everything than face what you’re hiding. I was right about you, all along; all you know how to do is hide. You hid behind a Saxophone to try to escape your enemies. You hid behind a pink dress and blonde wig thinking that would make you popular and fit in. And when that didn’t work, you tried to become this big, bad monster in leather jacket, with red hair and red face paint, thinking that somehow that would fix the broken girl that you inside. You thought fighting everyone around you would somehow make you untouchable, until you came to NXT, and you made a friend, and she broke down every single one of those walls that you spent so long putting up. And now you’re doing the same thing again. You’re hiding behind that North American Championship, a championship I once held and will hold again when the time is right. At Halloween Havoc, I’m gonna force you to face all the demons you spent your whole life running from. The judgment, the loneliness, the insecurities, and when all those demons try to tear you apart from the inside out, I will be there to take the only thing you have left to hide behind. Myles Borne, Tavion Heights, Danhausen Segment
Tavion Heights: Really, Myles, you got all this security just so I don’t throw you into that fifth row right there?
Myles Borne: Oh, they’re not here to protect me, Tavion, they’re here for you.
Tavion Heights: Come on, Myles, we both know you’re not about to do nothing unless my back is turn, which ironically, from the beginning, Myles, I always had your six. You were my day one, that meant something to me, but clearly that didn’t mean anything to you, Myles, did it? But I’m glad, I’m glad you showed me your true colors, because I realized that maybe, maybe you wanted me to do good, Myles, right, but not better than you? Nah, not Myles Borne, Myles Borne only cares about his damn self. And you would say that he would chalk it up to paranoia and say that’s why you stabbed me in the back. But if you would’ve let me finish last week before you snuck me, what I would’ve said is because you’re an arrogant, self-righteous, backstabbing bitch. And all you’re doing is looking where to point your fingers to find someone to blame for your own mistakes.
Myles Borne: I did not look for no one else, I pointed my fingers right at you, Tavion, because you’re the problem. You see, I know what I could do on my own, let me remind you. Tavion, I ditched you before and look where it got me. I got titles to my name. I beat Ethan Page for the North American Championship. And if I recall correctly, it was an opportunity that you had before me, and you failed, as usual. Tavion, what have you done in NXT when it’s just been you? Not a damn thing. Which is exactly why you latched yourself onto me when you could. You knew that if you stuck by me just long enough, you might stumble onto a championship. You did, you’re welcome. I handed you the one and only achievement that you ever had in your NXT career, and you want to call me selfish? I mean, you’re throwing stones from a glass house, brother. I gave you everything. You cost me everything. And I decided I’m done letting Tavion Heights leech off of me.
Tavion Heights: Myles, maybe I’ve been around you so long, that I forgot who in the hell I really am, and that’s somebody who thrives under pressure when their backs is against the ropes, when they got nobody to lean on and no backup, that’s when I do my best work, Myles. Maybe it’s about time I show these people what that means. Maybe it’s about time I show them what it means to be a Weapon In Human Form, The God Of Suplex’s, an Olympian who earned a world record representing people like you
Myles Borne: Keep clinging onto your Olympian glory days the same way you cling onto me, it’s the only thing that keeps you relevant around here.
Tavion Heights: And keep running your mouth, seeing how fast you can chase it. I’m about to show you that you’re not who you think you are, Myles, and I’m exactly who I say I am. Hey, this is going to be an ass whooping you can actually hear, Myles.
Danhausen: Oh, very tense, not so nice, but very evil. Danhausen loves it. As host of The Halloween Havoc, this is also the perfect match to raise the stakes. Druids, spin the wheelhausen.
– It lands on The Weapons Wild. That’s the match stipulation for Myles Borne/Tavion Heights at NXT Halloween Havoc.
– We see DarkState chatting in the backstage area. Dion Lennox asks if everything’s good. Osiris Griffin thanks Dion for being their fearless leader. Cutler James took a vicious beating with the steel ring steps last week, but he’ll be alright. Dion pushed Cruz Montana over the edge last week. Robert Stone joins the conversation. Stone wants to know why Dion brought up Cruz’s daughter in their match. Dion was just trying to prove that Cruz can’t control of him impulses. Dion pokes fun at Cruz for getting into position when Stone set out the security guards last week. Stone understands why Cruz wants to kick Dion’s ass. Dion tells Stone to make the match. Next week on NXT, Cruz Montana will battle Dion Lennox In An Unsanctioned Match. Dion says that he doesn’t care what the stipulation is, he’s going to send Cruz’s sorry ass back to rock bottom.
– Tony D’Angelo arrives at The D’Angelo Family Restaurant. Grayson Waller is not at the restaurant, but he left a note for The Don. It reads, meet me where it all started. Angelo storms out of the restaurant.
