LA Knight: Let me talk to you. The Man they call, The Megastar, is in the building in Ottawa. And I just can’t help, I’ve had my sights set on that World Heavyweight Championship, and since I’m standing right here in the Canadian Capital City, I feel like I need to talk about a capital Coward in Roman Reigns. That’s okay, some of you can feel a little mixed about that, I understand that, because I’m confused about it, myself. Because here’s a man who, at WrestleMania, he won on his own. Here’s a man who, at SummerSlam, he won on his own. So, somebody make sense to me why it is, the last few months, he’s been sending every single family member he can to come find me, sending a number of empty threats, all these things he can do to keep me away? And while he’s sending his whole family here, he tells me, LA Knight, you haven’t earned it, why don’t you go win a tournament? Well, on that note, what does Roman Reigns do? He goes, and true to his word, he decides to create a tournament, the only catch being, LA Knight doesn’t qualify. So, with that being the case, he still sends the whole family. He’s got Jimmy threatening me. He’s got Jey threatening me. He’s got Jacob threatening me. He even wanted to bring in another one to come and threaten me, but instead, that other one that he just couldn’t quite get a hold on, came and told me every single bit of truth about this damn family. And now with everything that happened last week, I understand, I might have stepped in it a bit, but the bottom line is, if I’m finding my way to the World Heavyweight Championship, I might have to get my hands dirty and a little bit of family business. And if that’s the case, then I’ll tell you what, I got one guy with me, Solo Sikoa.

Solo Sikoa: YEAH! YEAH! Well, LA, let me talk to you. I just want to say, what you did last week, thank you. I mean, one or two years ago, who would’ve thought LA Knight teaming up with Solo Dolo to take on The Bloodline? After everything we’ve been through, everything, you could’ve said no, but you said, YEAH, with everybody saying.

– We see Rey Mysterio talking to Rey Fenix in the back. Rey wishes Fenix good luck in his Semi-Final Round Match with Dragon Lee later on tonight. Right on cue, Dominik Mysterio appears with JD McDonagh to chat with his dead-beat dad. Dom says that it’s funny how Rey treats everybody on the roster like his own son, except his own son. Dom is still perplexed as to why he’s not in this World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament. Rey says that Dominik is not a real luchador. JD says that Rey is lucky that they don’t pop him right now. Je’Von Evans attacks Dominik from behind, he’s getting his receipt from last week. Je’Von launches JD over a production crate. Rey is hyped for The Young OG. Je’Von says that Big Cass is up next.

Second Match: Rey Fenix vs. Dragon Lee In A Semi-Final Round Match In The World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Wrist Lock Exchange. Lee applies a side headlock. Fenix whips Lee across the ring. Fenix leapfrogs over Lee. Fenix drops down on the canvas. Fenix goes for another leapfrog, but Lee holds onto the ropes. Lee with the bypass. Fenix goes for a Hurricanrana, but Lee lands back on his feet. Lee avoids The Spinning Heel Kick. Adam Pearce: Alright, now it is time to put ink to paper for the match some say will determine the future of WWE at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Let’s not waste any time. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, “The Ruler” Oba Femi.

Oba Femi: We don’t have all day, come on. Where’s your boy?

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, with all due respect to Mr. Femi, there is no vision for the future without including the phrase, Fear The Spear. Introducing, the hardest hitting athlete in all of WWE, Bron Breakker.

Adam Pearce: Gentlemen, you know how this works, two signatures make it official for Sunday Night’s Main Event. Mr. Breakker, if you please.

Bron Breakker: Who the hell you think you are, huh? Honestly, who do you think that you are, coming out here, and claiming yourself to be the future, as if you earned it. What have you done? What have you done to earn the title of calling yourself the future around here? What, you beat Brock? Okay. You won King Of The Ring, okay. You squashed a bunch of people, what, those all sound like great opportunities, but none of them sound like championships, now do they? You see, eight months ago, before you showed up, I had WWE in the palm of my hand, I had this place under control. I was the future, no doubt, they chanted my name every week, just like they chant yours. They bark in every town we go to, just like you. And then I got hurt. I took myself out, because let’s face it, nobody one back there is man enough to take me out, including you, and then what happened? You weasel your way into my spot and my opportunities and get handed everything. This mountain, that apparently no one can climb, that you speak of, you were born at the top of it, Oba. Don’t fool yourself, you were in this position, because I was hurt, that’s it, it’s that simple. And I’m back here to rightfully claim what belongs to me.

Oba Femi: Bron, you’re an angry orange man. Why are you so angry? Okay, let me explain something to you, because I get the impression that you’re so frustrated, because you believe that I don’t rate you, that I underestimate you. I don’t, and right now to your face, I’m going to tell you exactly what I think about you. I think that if you debuted in 2002, and ran against John Cena, you would be the face and the future of this place. I also think that, if you broke into the business in 2015, and ran against whoever The Big Dog was back then, you would be the face and the future. Bron Breakker: This is funny, it really is, I love it. I love the fact that they chant your name every week, and they do the strut with you, I love it. I love the fact that everybody in the entire world loves you, counting me out, thinking you’re just gonna roll over me, like this is any other Oba Femi match, right? I’m gonna tell you exactly what’s gonna happen to you, so you can get home and prepare yourself for what’s coming. I’m gonna force you to fight me in the deep waters. I’m gonna take you out there, you’re gonna get tired, your lungs ain’t gonna have air in them, your legs are gonna go. Adam Pearce: Alright, that’s one, Oba, if you please.

Bron Breakker: You want to sign this or should your daddy do it for you?

Paul Heyman: That ain’t funny, what are you doing? Why are you doing this?

Bron Breakker: Go ahead, sign it, Paul. Sign it for him. You’ve been walking around the last couple weeks, like you represent him, like you’re his guy, you want nothing to do with me. Brock shows up, I take a back seat. Go ahead, sign it, sign it for him. Sign the paper. Sign it.

Bron sucker punches Oba. Oba grabs Bron by his throat. Bron and Oba are trading back and forth shots. Austin Theory attacks Oba from behind. Oba tees off on Theory. Bron clotheslines Oba. The Vision gangs up on Oba. Bron goes for The Spear, but Oba counters with The Big Boot. Oba clotheslines Bron over the top rope. Oba delivers The Pizza Toss through the contract table. Oba tells Bron to bring it. Bron heads to the back. Oba signs the contract.

Oba Femi: This is exactly how I will have you come the 6th. Sunday Night’s Main Event, you’re running away, and you’re running from me.

– The Usos run into Jacob Fatu in the backstage area. Jacob pokes fun at The Usos getting embarrassed by LA Knight and Solo. Jimmy says that, after what happened last week, Jacob should stay back, chill out, because Big Jim and The YEET Man have a play to run tonight. Jey asks Jacob if he wants to be active tonight? Is he ready to fight, with his scary ass not doing anything last week? Jacob tells Jey to shut his ass up. The OTC told Jacob to stay down, and that’s exactly what he did. How many times do we have to go over this. Jacob doesn’t listen to Jimmy. And he sure as hell don’t take orders from Jey’s punk ass. When The OTC tells Jacob to run a play, that’s exactly what he’s going to do. Jey flaunts his new Ula Fala at Jacob as they’re now promoted as Captains. Jey tells Jacob to stand in the back and do nothing.

Third Match: Je’Von Evans vs. Big Cass 

The referee had to get in between Evans and Cass before the bell rings. Evans with rapid fire haymakers. Cass shoves Evans across the ring. Evans ducks a clothesline from Cass. Evans with rapid fire strikes. Cass launches Evans across the ring. Evans SuperKicks Cass. Evans backflips over Cass. Evans with another SuperKick. Cass blocks The Bouncy Hurricanrana. Cass goes for a PowerBomb, but Evans counters with a Hurricanrana to the floor. Evans with a boot from the apron. Cass catches Evans in mid-air. Cass goes for a Bodyslam, but Evans lands back on his feet. Cass drives Evans ribs first into the ring apron. Evans plays to the crowd. Cass clotheslines Evans over the top rope. – Jackie Redmond had a backstage interview with Sol Ruca. Next week on Raw, Sol will be getting her rematch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Sol is stoked about this news, getting the opportunity to get her title back is huge, especially after beating Lyra Valkyria, and everything she’s been through with The Judgment Day. Iyo Sky joins the conversation. Iyo wishes Sol good luck in her rematch next week, she knows that she can do it. Sol says that this wouldn’t be happening if it wasn’t for Iyo. Lyra Valkyria joins the conversation. Lyra was just coming to say congratulations, but it looks like Iyo beat her to the punch. Lyra is not upset about what happened last week, it’s water under the bridge, she’s here tonight as Sol’s friend. Sol broke Raquel’s face the last time they competed against each other. Lyra says that Raquel is going to mess Sol up. Sol should give Lyra the title match, and then they’ll run it back. Sol sees what Lyra’s trying to do, she earned this opportunity, isn’t that what Lyra wanted in the first place? Lyra had her opportunity last week and she lost, so the answer is no. Lyra challenges Sol to another match, and the winner gets to face Raquel Rodriguez next week. Sol says that if Lyra wants another title shot so badly, go earn one. Lyra says that Bayley used to talk to her like that. Lyra stares daggers through Iyo as she walks away. Iyo says that Lyra is scary.

– We see Solo Sikoa talking to LA Knight in the locker room. Funny games aside, Solo can’t thank LA Knight enough for having his back last week. Like he said before, Solo has Knight’s back and he owes him one. Look at the Softy Solo Sikoa. Knight appreciates the sentiment, but Solo doesn’t him anything, the only thing Solo owes him is not making him regret this decision. If they work together as a team, they could go all the way to the top. Forget the warning shots, they’ll be dishing out live fire tonight, let’s go handle this business. Knight gives Solo a fist bump.

– Zilla Fatu Vignette.

– We see Adam Pearce talking to Chad Gable in the back. Pearce says that Gable’s match with Rey Mysterio last week was an all-time, he should really be proud of himself. That’s exactly what Gable had in mind for the match and his title run going forward, this is his legacy. Pearce tells Gable that he’s gonna go work on finding him a new challenger to further solidify his legacy. As Gable turns around, Ethan Page appears. Page just wanted to say congratulations to Gable for all of his success as of late, but more importantly, defeating Rey Mysterio. You know who else defeated Rey Mysterio and have their eyes on the token of excellence Gable is holding? “All Ego” Ethan Page. We all can agree that Page has earned an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship. At the same time, Page makes the claim that Gable is intimidated by him. Page is not allowing Gable to respond whatsoever, playing off as he’s the one that keeps getting interrupted. Page understands Gable wants to make his schedule lighter by offering title shots to washed up Hall Of Famers, because he doesn’t want to step into the ring with someone as amazing as “All Ego”. Page says that the Intercontinental Champion will find him one way or another. Gable reminds Page that he had the same opportunity to become IC Champion, they were in the same Gauntlet Match, however, Page was the one who tapped out to Gable. Gable says that Page was on top of the list of guys he wants to give title shots, but he continues to run his mouth, the verbal garbage keeps falling out, and now he’s talked himself out of a title opportunity. Gable says congratulations, Page should be really proud of himself.
