Drew McIntyre & Zelina Vega Promo

Drew McIntyre: Welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw. Now, this is truly the highlight of my week, so thank you for joining me. But enough about that, I got to get down to business. The champ. Where do we begin? Oh, how about last week? I was jumped, ambushed, left laying here actually. You know who’s not surprised at all that happened, this guy. See, this title represent a lot of things to a lot of people. History, prestige, glory, fame, all those things are true and pretty cool, but realistically it paints a huge bullseye on my back, because whoever holds this championship is considered the best of the best in this entire industry. And everybody wants to be in this position.

Somebody once told me, it’s lonely at the top. At the top, I see that person is a dirty filthy, liar It’s crowded a hell at the top. That’s okay, I get it. It’s nothing personal. Everybody wants to be here. They just want to be champion. So that takes me to Seth Rollins. Seth, mate, you stomped my head into this canvas last week, twice. If you read between the lines of that messiah rhetoric he’s always spouting, he’s not that complex. I’m champion, Seth wants to be champion. But does he deserve an opportunity? I said last week if you deserve an opportunity at the champ, you get an opportunity at the champ. Now a lot of people say Seth Rollins doesn’t deserve an opportunity.

But I thought about it. I came to the conclusion. I can make Seth jump through hoops. But realistically, he’s one of the most decorated superstars of all time. I’ve been in the ring with him. I know how good he truly is. And if I want to be one of the greatest champions of all time, I need to continue to beat the best. So i’m making a challenge. Three weeks time, at the Money In The Bank PPV, Drew McIntyre versus Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship. Now, I want to take a moment to talk to Seth directly, get this camera close. Hi Seth, how are you buddy? I’m not gonna hurl a bunch of insults at you. Hey, i’m in the middle of something here, I’ll get to you guys later on, I got Angel Garza in a match.

Zelina Vega: Hey, Drew.

Drew McIntyre: Hi Zelina, the number one thorn in my ass, how are you?

Zelina Vega: You see, I know that I can’t speak for the entire WWE Universe, but we are so sick of your little rah-rah speeches. Yeah. You see, the problem is that  you’re too focused on the Money In The Bank PPV, you’re looking past tonight, you’re looking past Angel Garza.

You are a brave man, Drew McIntyre. Fighting champion. I admire that. I respect that. You know, not many men know what it’s like to walk in your shoes. But I do.. Not many men understand what it’s like to go into the main event of WrestleMania and beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. But I do. You and I, we got a lot in common, we really do. We command the respect of our peers. We have a deep love and passion for this industry. I accept your challenge for a WWE Championship Match at Money In The Bank.

Not out of respect. And not out of disdain, I got nothing against you Drew, this isn’t personal. I accept your challenge. Out of necessity, out of duty, because right now, more than ever, the WWE Universe needs a leader. And as much as you and I have in common, the similarities stop there. I am a proven leader, and you’re not. I am the one who will sacrifice for the greater good, I am the one who will make the difficult decisions. I am the one who’ll be the light in the darkness. At Money In The Bank, Drew, i’m going to take your title. Not because I want to, but because I have to.

MVP Promo

In my storied career, I have seen a lot of WWE Superstars, literally rise and fall in pursuit of that briefcase. Because inside that briefcase is a contract, which entitles the barrier to compete for the WWE Championship, anytime, any place. Earlier tonight, we saw the very dangerous, Aleister Black. He punched his ticket, he’s in. Later on tonight, we’ll see Rey Mysterio, an absolute legend, much like myself, he’ll compete for his opportunity. But we’re not worried about that. Right now, it’s my turn. And standing in my way, is the extremely talented, Apollo Crews.

Probably the most gifted athlete on the roster today, a man who’s absolutely lit up Monday Night Raw since his debut here, but he’s outmatched. You see, when the WWE wanted to make the money in the bank ladder match, the most unique match, they called the most unique character. They called the man who’s no stranger to wearing suits, no stranger to WWE Headquarters, no stranger to executive board rooms and corporate jets and signing big money deals, they called MVP. No hard feelings, Aleister Black, I mean, Apollo Crews, that guy. No hard feelings, but I called my agent and I told him to book the private jet, because we are going to Stamford and I will be in the money in the bank ladder match, because money talks. And when it does, it says that MVP is the future.
