Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins and The Authors Of Pain Segment

Kevin Owens: You know what, we’re gonna kick off the new year early and we’re gonna kick it off with some fireworks courtesy of Kevin Owens. You want to know why we’re going to do that? Here’s why.

– Video recap of last weeks Raw.

You know Seth and The AOP have been running wild all over this place for weeks now. I know that better than anyone. In fact, they sent me to the hospital twice in a month, but that’s fine with me. You see every week I came out here and I call them out and I get the hell beaten out of me. And guess what? I’m going to keep calling them out every week. I’m gonna keep getting the hell beaten out of me, but I swear sooner or later I am taking one of you idiots down with me. But where I have a problem is when the consequences of their actions impact people in that locker room that I respect, that I look up to.

The name that comes to mind is Rey Mysterio. You know there’s not a whole lot of people in this industry that I respect as much as Rey Mysterio. Last week after they sent me to the hospital, it made me sick to watch the three of them gang up on a legend like him and to see Seth Rollins stomp his head through that stage. But the worst part is that Seth and AOP’s actions last week is the reason why Rey Mysterio lost the United States Title to Andrade at Madison Square Garden a few days ago. You know what? After watching that Seth and AOP, i’ve had enough of tape study, come on down. Perfect.

Seth Rollins: Kevin, you still are failing to see the big picture. This is not something that I’ve chosen, this is something that has been forced upon me by you and by people like you who think that they know best. This position I find myself in, it is my sacrifice. It is me sacrificing myself for the greater good. To be a leader. To be a messiah. To take this industry to the next decade. Kevin, you have left me with no choice, but to impose my will. And if you resist, you saw what happen to Rey Mysterio, you saw what happen to Samoa Joe. If you resist, The AOP will enforce my will. And that’s the sad truth. Kevin, when are you going to learn?

Owens immediately charges towards The AOP. Three on one beatdown ensues. Samoa Joe storms into the ring to make the save. Pier six brawl in Hartford. Owens wipes out the field with The Flying Cannonball Senton to the floor to close the segment.
