Roman Reigns & King Corbin Segment

The show was supposed to start off with the triple threat match to determine the number one contender to Bray Wyatt’s WWE Universal Championship at The Royal Rumble 2020. Daniel Bryan made his entrance. King Corbin decided to it was more important to cut a promo on his throne instead of preparing for the match.

King Corbin: Hold on, hold on, hold on. Set me down boys I’ve got something to say. Daniel Bryan. I see you out here and I see you chomping at the bit, but this is Friday Night SmackDown, this is my kingdom and we do things my way. Daniel, all of these people like you, but that’s because all of these bottom feeders are jealous of my success. Now I’m going to make this very simple for all of you. Yes, you and The Miz have families. Yes, you and The Miz are terrible fathers. Yes, you and The Miz want to face Bray Wyatt.

Yes, you and The Miz are former World Champions who’ve main evented WrestleMania. But, if you think you’re going to beat me here tonight, then I think The Fiend ripped out some of your brain matter with all of your hair. What you should do Daniel is just step aside. It’s an absolute disgrace that the King even has to compete here tonight. I earned my opportunity when I beat Roman Reigns, twice. That’s something no other superstar has done since he’s returned.

The WWE Universe should be begging me to vanquish Bray Wyatt because only the strongest, most powerful, most fearsome superstar should be Universal Champion and that’s me. And Daniel look, I get it. You’re a nice guy. The problem is you’re just no longer championship material. It’s like The Miz, who plays an action hero in the movies, but is not really an action hero. I’m the only one with the ability to beat Bray Wyatt. So when I do, I’m going to take that Universal Championship.

Roman Reigns attacks King Corbin from behind to close the segment.

Sheamus Promo

They say a champion doesn’t wait for an opportunity to knock. He builds a door. Nine months ago, I left SmackDown and I closed that door behind me. In my absence, I watched as other men stepped in to fill the void. Men just waiting to take advantage of the opportunities I left behind. Men who were less than. Men who were inferior. Men who were never worthy of the name, champion. Men who can never be worthy of facing me. Nine months ago, The Celtic Warrior left, but now i’m back and i’m ready to break down the door on a whole new SmackDown.

A Moment Of Bliss With Special Guest: Lacey Evans

Alexa Bliss: What is up Detroit? I don’t know if you guys have notice this or not, but A Moment of Bliss is back. And yes of course, we have our coffee, cheers. So we’re just gonna jump right into this. Nikki, would you like to do the honors?

Nikki Cross: Please welcome our guest, The Sassy Southern Belle, Lacey Evans.

Alexa Bliss: I like your music. Lacey, welcome to A Moment Of Bliss.

Lacey Evans: Thank you for having me, hunny.

Alexa Bliss: Of course. Now ever since you come to SmackDown, you’ve stepped up to the Women’s Champion Bayley and her best friend, Sasha Banks, who you actually had a match with last week and things got a little bit out of control because Sasha was taunting your six year old daughter. Let’s take a look. So Lacey, how does that make you feel seeing that footage back?

Lacey Evans: Well I’m proud of my kid. She’s brave and she’s a fighter just like her momma. But Sasha Banks crossed a line that you do not cross. My daughter means everything in the world to me. And last week, when I heard her yell mama and I looked up and Sasha Banks was up in my kids face, I snapped. And I think I speak for every parent and every mother in this entire world, the last thing you do is mess with a child. Especially the child of a mother. Because Mama Bear mode comes out and the last place you want to be is in between a mother bear and her cub. If that ain’t the truth, I don’t know what the hell is.

Now I said that my child is everything thing in the world to me and with that being said, there’s nothing in this entire world that I would not do to stop anybody that comes in between me and my baby and Sasha Banks put herself there. On that note, if they didn’t pull me off of her last week when they did, she would not walk out of this arena. And while I do appreciate the WWE Universe, and you Alexa Bliss, for having me on your show, I’m not gonna sit out here because I am aware of what happens normally on this type of thing.

I’m not going to turn my back and allow myself to be attacked from behind from two nasty things that lack the capability to be a role model for anybody in this arena, anybody around the world, especially for my child. So if you’d excuse me, because I do know that they’re in here, I’m going to set this mic down. I’m going to get into that ring because I’m ready for a fight because I am done with this nonsense.
