Tony D’Angelo Promo
Myles Borne. You’re really feeling yourself with this new attitude of yours, this, me, first version. You think that’s gonna get you to the top of NXT. But you see, the only problem with that, is where you want to go is where I live. Now, tonight, it doesn’t matter what version of Myles Borne I get it, you’re not gonna get the job done. See, I didn’t get to where I’m at because of how I talk or the clothes I wear, I got there because of results, taking out every threat, every champion, even a Ruler. Now, last week, you socked me in the face with a roll of quarters, you saw an opportunity, and you took it. Good on you, but you see, that’s where me and you are different, Myles. You see, you hit me in the face with about five dollars’ worth of quarters where I would’ve knocked your ass out with a crowbar. Don’t kid yourself. Now, I might have traded in the suit for a pair of jeans and a jacket, but in NXT, I decide who walks and who takes a swim. And in NXT, I’m the master of fate, and tonight, Myles Borne, your fate is in my hands. And at Halloween Havoc, Grayson Waller, I’ll decide yours.
– We got a new vignette from The Culling. Niko Vance is trying to understand Izzi Dame’s new obsession with Zaria. Izzi says that everyone sees Zaria as the big bad indestructible woman, but every time Izzi looks at her, she can’t help but wonder about how much effort it must take for Zaria to hold it all together. Izzi loves broken things, but the thing about broken things is that everybody wants to try to fix them, they want to tell them who they’re supposed to be, and how they’re supposed to heal. Not Izzi, though, Zaria being broken doesn’t make her innocent or special, but it does make her interesting. Izzi thinks that Zaria is trying to hide something. Zaria spends so much time trying to convince everyone that she’s dangerous, but she’s forgot what happens when someone forces her to look at herself in the mirror. Izzi doesn’t see the NXT Women’s North American Champion, she sees a woman that’s scared, hiding behind a title and attitude, and she wants to see what’s underneath that. Izzi says that this isn’t about the title, not yet, this is about so much more than that. Title allows Izzi to be closer to Zaria, to watch her as she inevitably slips, because everybody always slips. Zaria’s mask will grow heavy, her act will get exhausting, and for one second, the world will see the person underneath, and Izzi wants that second. Izzi wants to know who’s underneath the face paint, and she’s going to find out, because it is what it is.
Robert Stone, Kelani Jordan, Wren Sinclair Segment
Wren Sinclair: Hey, guys. Happy Wrensday. Now, listen to this, Wren Sinclair is the Number One Contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Woah. If you would’ve told me a few months ago, that I would be standing right here saying that, I would’ve laugh. But not because I didn’t want it, but because if there’s one Wren Sinclair is gonna do, it’s over think. And trust me, I’ve talked myself out of a lot of things. I would just keep my head down and play it safe, but look where that got me, honestly. But last week, I did something that the old Wren could never do, I took a risk, I put myself out there, honestly, and I was scared as hell. I walked into that Battle Royal as Lady Shani, sorry Shani, but also I’m not, because I knew that if I went out there, and everything went bad, I would have to live with those consequences. But when I won, and I took that mask off, I proved to myself, that even though I was scared, I don’t have to back down anymore.
Now, I know that I don’t have the biggest name in that locker room, and I know that I’m definitely the last one anyone expected to be standing here, but I think that’s exactly why I have to do this. Because sometimes, you just have to be scared enough to know that this is how much it matters, and then you just have to do it, because I know what happens when you don’t. I lost my title, and I watched my best friend get hurt and lose hers, and it just made me realize how fast everything that we worked for can be taken away. And I realize that I can’t just stand here and wait for things to change. Now, Kendal, she has always believed in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself, and I need to step up, not just for her, but for me. Now, I know there are a lot of questions. I know, I know, technically I was suspended, but regardless, jeez, can I get a second?
Kelani Jordan: And then you woke up. Apparently, people are getting way too comfortable thinking they can bend the rules and get rewarded for it. Wren, what you did last week was smart, but you even said it yourself, you were suspended, so it didn’t count. But somehow, someway, you managed to sneak your way into the Battle Royal, pretend to be someone else, and you expect me to sit back and accept that you’re the Number One Contender for my championship? No, I don’t think so, because you didn’t earn that opportunity, you manipulated the situation, committed identity theft, and you want to come out here and act like you deserve to stand across the ring from me. Girl, please, I’m The Standout not The Handout, so I’m going to make this crystal clear. At Halloween Havoc, I refuse to face you. I’ll face Kali, I’ll face anyone from TNA, I’ll face the real Lady Shani, I’ll face whoever, but I won’t face you. Because you’re not gonna use that little stunt you pulled last week as a fast pass to the top, and Wren isn’t gonna take off at the expense of Kelani Jordan. So, keep calling yourself the Number One Contender, go ahead and film your little Wrensdays, and keep being Kendal’s sidekick. But you know it, I know it, and they all know it, that whether you took the risk or not, you didn’t have the balls to step into that Battle Royal as yourself. And the saddest part about the whole thing, Wren, is you couldn’t even get these people to love you for who you were.
Robert Stone: Okay, okay, okay, look, I think everybody knows by now that Wren Sinclair’s suspension has been officially lifted. However, Kelani, you do make some good points, I mean, Wren did win the Battle Royal dressed as Lady Shani. However, it is hard to ignore the fact that Wren did eliminate 19 other women to earn becoming the Number One Contender. So, I’m gonna leave this one up to the NXT Universe. I mean, do you think Wren deserves a title opportunity? Well, then it is Set In Stone, Wren Sinclair challenges Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc.
Wren dodges a belt shot from Kelani. Wren thrust kicks the midsection of Kelani. Wren nearly clocks Kelani with the NXT Women’s Championship to close this segment.

He’s proud of his mother, she did what she had to do, it made him the man that he is today. Lennox attacks Montana from behind. Lennox transitions into a ground and pound attack. Lennox smashes the back of Montana’s head against a production crate. Lennox picks up Montana’s phone and calls his mother back. Lennox tells Montana’s mother that he’s going to need her next week after he beats his ass and send him back to that dark place he dugged himself out of.
