– As the show goes on the air, Adam Pearce walks into Nick Aldis office. Pearce mentions that he saw Nick’s video on X where he booked Raw superstars to compete in a 6-Woman Tag Team Match. Nick says that he’s not doing anything Pearce wouldn’t have done. And besides, he can’t pass up on that opportunity with all this talent under one roof, you got to give the people what they want. The conversation turns into a spirit of competition thing and passive aggressiveness. Pearce says it’s that time of the year. Trick Williams interrupts the conversation with Lil Yachty. Trick says that he has unfinished business he wants to settle with Sami Zayn tonight. Bron Breakker appears. Breakker shakes Pearce’s hand. Breakker thanks Nick for bringing him down to Louisiana, wasting his time with nothing to do. Breakker says that he’s on a strict training schedule for Money In The Bank, which he’s going to win tomorrow night. Trick says that the only schedule Breakker is on is indeed, The Tricky Schedule. Breakker needs to mind his business while grown folk is talking. Yachty says, the brand is blue, and Breakker is red, so this has nothing to do with him. Secondly, if Breakker thinks that Mr. Lemon Pepper Stepper ain’t gonna climb that ladder and win MITB, he’s got another thing coming. It sounds like Trick wants to fight. Pearce makes a pitch that tonight’s main event should be Bron Breakker versus Trick Williams, unless Nick is afraid that his guy can’t win. Trick is down to fight. Nick makes the match official, which makes Pearce’s skin crawl.

CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn Segment

CM Punk: I can’t remember the last time I was here, so I got to start off this way, is it great to be alive on a Friday night in Lafayette, Louisiana or what? Now, obviously, we got some furniture in the ring. Tomorrow night, couple miles up the road, New Orleans, Louisiana, we got the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. We got briefcases hanging high above those ladders, and people are asking me, man, Punk, what are you doing at this stage in your career? Why are you subjecting yourself to getting thrown into ladders, thrown off ladders, thrown through ladders? Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve been here before. In 2008 and 2009, I won the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, I earned a contract for a title shot, any place, any time I wanted. And we all know the results, I cashed in, not one, but twice. So, 2026, I’m 47, I’m middle aged and crazy, and I think, man, why not, why not me? Why am I doing this? Because I have the chance to make history, and ladies and gentlemen, that is what CM Punk does. I, tomorrow night, have a shot to become the only 3X Money In The Bank Ladder Match Winner.

And they tell me I’m crazy and it can’t be done, and I say, Louisiana, watch me. It’s not gonna be a cakewalk, the challengers that I have in this match, well, honestly, they’re tougher than the current champion. It’s going to be a hard row to hoe. I have four supremely talented, elite professional wrestlers in a very dangerous match, a couple guys that I’ve never even locked up with before. Je’Von Evans, yeah, I like him, too. He’s fast, he’s young, he’s talented, he’s bouncy, he does things in this ring that I’ve never seen anybody else do. There’s PENTA. Yeah, I like him, too. The man without fear. There’s Trick Williams. Super athletic, super talented, super fool of himself, but he has the action to back it up. There’s Bron Breakker who I’ve gone toe-to-toe with and survived. Bark for him, I may not like him, but if you do, have at it. I am also told that I believe Kevin Owens in this match, that’s the one guy I don’t sweat at all. In fact, as I’m being rudely interrupted, you can talk about why I don’t sweat him. I beat him in Toronto in front of his mom, that was fun. Go ahead, take your time.

Kevin Owens: You want me to hurry? Phil, Phil, thank you for that incredible introduction. Look, you can try to downplay me as much as you want, you won’t be able to do that tomorrow night. You see, tomorrow night, I think I have a chance to make it a very successful night for me, because obviously winning that contract is a priority, that gives us the chance to do the most important thing in this business and that’s to win the WWE Championship. But just as important to me, tomorrow night is making sure you don’t get that contract, because no one, nobody needs to see you as WWE Champion ever again. As long as you don’t walk out with that contract, I’ll consider tomorrow night a win.

CM Punk: There it is ladies and gentlemen. Kevin, whether you know it or not, that’s what you always do, that’s the Kevin Owens fail safe, that’s the excuse that you’re going walk out here and throw down when you don’t win. Oh, I didn’t win, because let’s face it, ladies and gentlemen, we all know you’re not going to win. But you’re gonna try to use me not winning as an excuse, like that’s some sort of consolation prize? You did it in Toronto, and you couldn’t get the job done. You’re doing it now, you always do it, because that’s what makes me the best in the world, I believe in myself. You don’t even believe in yourself, that’s what makes you whatever you are. And that’s why I’m here, on top of the world, and you’re always going to be down there in the dirt, looking up at me.

Kevin Owens: Oh, you delusional prick, I’ve never looked up to you, I’m certainly not gonna start tonight, so here, buddy. Now that we’re eye-to-eye, let me tell you what I see when I look into your eyes. I see a man who’s not taking that contract, and that’s not it, I’m also gonna make sure you don’t even walk out on your own two feet tomorrow night. And then I’m taking the contract, I’m cashing in, and I’m beating that bitch Sami Zayn for the WWE Title.

CM Punk: You think you’re gonna hurt me? You see that disappointment on your face, that’s how I felt when your entrance music hit.

Kevin Owens: I can’t hear you.

CM Punk: I know you can hear me.

Kevin Owens: Hi, shorty.

Sami Zayn: I have to say, all of this is very disappointing. First of all, it’s so symbolic that even though I am the WWE Champion, that I am the one on the short ladder here, and two guys who are struggling to contend for my championship are somehow placed above me.

CM Punk: Sami, you can’t be shocked, I’m sure you’ve heard this multiple times in the past, it’s not the size of the ladder, it’s what you do with it. Tomorrow night, I’m gonna wrap it around your fat head, and then I’m coming to get my title back.

Sami Zayn: Oh, that’s so funny. Look how funny it is, it’s crazy to me to hear the disrespect, the same crap coming out of your mouth and your mouth that those other guys in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match was saying last week, that it’s a forgone conclusion, all you need is to grab that briefcase, and it’s a guarantee that you will become WWE Champion. I expect it from those guys, they’re dumb, they don’t know any better. You, you should know better. You, you should definitely know better. If anybody knows who I am, it should be the two of you. I am a survivor. I find a way. I found a way to beat you for the WWE Championship.

CM Punk: Yeah, that way is right here. You had his help with that title upside my head.

Sami Zayn: I found a way to retain the championship against you, didn’t I?

Kevin Owens: Yeah, that dumbass, that’s the way you found. Good job.

Sami Zayn: Yeah, and you see, that’s the thing, you guys are supposed to be so smart. You think those are accidents? No, no, it’s because I am exceptionally intelligent, do you understand? And I see the forest from the trees, and you two amazingly enough, for as great as you are, and as smart as you are, are so dumb that you can’t see that you’re exactly alike. Yeah, I know how insulting that is for you, Punk. And I definitely know how insulting that is for you, Kev. But at least Kevin here has the honesty to admit how much he wants to see you fail. You stand there, and you act like none of this bothers you, like it doesn’t drive you crazy that I’m standing here, two feet in front of you with the WWE Championship. And you’re standing there looking across at the man you think cost you the WWE Championship, I know that drives you. And here’s a reality check for both of you, neither one of you is going to grab that briefcase tomorrow night. Because you’re not in the head space for it, you’re not in the head space for it. Both of you are going to walk away, empty handed. And I, I will still be your Undisputed WWE Champion.

Randy says that there’s not fuel left on his private jet to take him back home to St. Louis. Randy tells Nick to have a nice night. However, Nick should know that Randy is not the problem, Cody Rhodes is the problem. Cody is the one going around telling everyone that he’s going to kick Randy’s head clean off his shoulders. Randy is just staying true to his promise of making sure that Cody never becomes WWE Champion again until he gets No. 15 first. Nick should remind Cody later on that he sent Randy home, but the next time he has him in position for The Punt, he’s going to hesitate, again. Randy tells Nick that he’ll see him in Sacramento.

The Miz, Kit Wilson, Cody Rhodes Segment

The Miz: No, no, no, no, no. Nick Aldis thinks he can push me aside? Me? Me? I’ll take over this entire show. Kit, write this down. Lesson 31 of The Miz Method. When someone put’s 20 years of blood, sweat and tears into a place, you throw them a birthday party.

Kit Wilson: Wake up, Lafayette. Each and every one of you are toxic. So, I’m going to give you one more chance to sing Happy Birthday to this locker room leader. So, on the count of three, 1-2-3.

– Cody Rhodes music hits.

The Miz: Cut the music, cut the music, cut his music 2X. Oh, you’ll sing to his song, but you won’t sing Happy Birthday to me? And you, how dare you interrupt me? You’re not the Undisputed Champion anymore. So, unless you’re out here to sonic boom me a Happy Birthday Wish, you better stay outside of my ring.

Cody storms into the ring. Cody kicks Kit in the gut. Cody launches Kit over the top rope. Cody ducks a clothesline from Miz. Cody connects with The CrossRhodes.

Cody Rhodes: So, Lafayette, what do you wanna talk about?

Nick Aldis: You see, this is exactly what I was trying to avoid, Cody. And this is exactly why I let Randy go home, because I can’t keep having my show go off the rails. Now, look, I know that you and Randy, as soon as you see one and other, you’re gonna want to tear each other apart. And here’s the thing, if that happens in the parking lot or the loading dock or the dressing room or catering, that does nothing for me, it does nothing for you and Randy, and it does nothing for our fans actually. What it does is risk two of my very top guys getting put on the shelf, 24 hours before a Money In The Bank Ladder Match where more of my guys are at risk of being put on the shelf. So, this is about business, Cody. And my business, my job is to get the match in the ring, you know that. So, look, I know that this thing between you two is a long way from being over, but what do you say that you and I take this to my office, and we discuss how we’re going to make this happen?

Cody Rhodes: We’ll go to your office? No, I think we don’t need to go to your office, why don’t we stay in my office? I beat Randy Orton at WrestleMania, 1-2-3, and then kicked me. And I hobbled up the ramp, blood down my face, crimson mask, my eye swollen shut, and you know, as a wrestler, as a man what you do in that moment, you try to hide it from your loved ones. Now, my wife, she’s born and bred Detroit, she doesn’t get squeamish, but my daughter, she’s 3ft tall, and she didn’t need to see that. And you know what happened when she did? She cried, Nick, she cried right in front of me. And you know what’s on the other side of those tears, Nick? Fear. And here’s what I’m going to do with that fear, I’m going to take it to every SmackDown, to every arena, every PLE, every media stop, every red-carpet appearance until Randy Orton and The Legend of The Legend Killer is no more. Randy Orton stands today, because of a mere few seconds of mercy that I showed at Sunday Night’s Main Event. I would be WWE Champion if not for Randy Orton hiding in the shadows, a man that doesn’t need to hide. So, I need a favor, Nick, hell, we all need a favor. I need you to get Randy Orton face-to-face with me. I am not above flying to St. Louis and getting him. I need you to make it happen, because it’s no longer about which road I’m gonna go down, it’s no longer about who owns my moral compass, it’s about what I am going to do that sociopathic, one speed Michael Myers walking forward, walking liability, human tramp stamp, waste of talent, fragile bitch.

– The Roman Reigns/LA Knight World Heavyweight Championship will be kicking off the WWE Money In The Bank 2026 PLE.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Damian Priest. Priest is a former Senor Money In The Bank. And then he became El Campeon by cashing in at WrestleMania. Now, he could be El Campeon again if he wasn’t wasting his time with R-Truth. Priest already explained why he turned his back on Truth. If Cathy or anybody can’t understand by now, that’s not his problem, it’s theirs. He’s done explaining himself. Fraxiom says that Priest should apologize for what he did to Truth. He really hoped that Johnny won last week’s MITB Qualifier Match. Johnny wished that Sami was out there to help him.
