– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with The Irresistible Forces. Cathy mentions that things didn’t go Lash Legend’s way the last time she was in a Ladder Match. Nia Jax says that was ancient history, why don’t she ask Lash about the now and her upcoming qualifying match with Charlotte Flair and Giulia? Lash says that Charlotte has done a lot of great things in her career, and Giulia is pretty tough, but she’s Lash Legend, The Boujee Bully and she’s not worried about it. Nia says that Lash is more talented, more athletic, more dominant, and that makes her even more gorgeous. Lash wants Nia to interview her instead of Cathy. The reality is that Lash is going to win tonight’s qualifier match, then go on to become Ms. Money In The Bank, and bring home the WWE Women’s Championship to The Irresistible Forces.

– Michael Cole & Corey Graves recapped the controversial conclusion to last week’s Undisputed WWE Championship Match with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

– Nick Aldis runs into CM Punk in the back. Are they good? Yep. Is Punk ready to go tonight? Yep. Nick tells Punk that he wants to have a quick word with him in his office. Punk is not in trouble. Punk says that he has all the time in the world for Nick Aldis.

– WWE Worlds Collide will be airing on WWE’s YouTube Channel on September 30th at 7pm ET!

– Coming out of the commercial break, CM Punk finds Kevin Owens laying on a couch inside of Nick Aldis Office. He’s not happy to see KO. Nick said that he had a conversation with Kevin earlier tonight, and now he wanted to have a conversation with the both of them at the same time. Nick knows that Punk and KO won’t be exchanging Christmas Cards, but this beef needs to end. They are in WWE to compete at the highest level, not to spend all their time trying to sabotage each other’s careers. After what happened in Mexico City, and what happened last week, Nick cannot have these shenanigans bleed over into tonight’s Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifier. Nick has great respect for both guys, so he hopes that he only has to say this once, and he hopes that he made himself abundantly clear. Punk understands what Nick is saying. Punk says that Kevin has nothing that he wants, so if he stays out of his way, he’ll be glad to stay out of his orbit. Kevin says nothing in return. He gives Punk a shoulder bump as he’s walking out of the office.

– We see an anxious Chelsea Green in the back. Tiffany Stratton asks Chelsea if she’s okay. She’s not. This Money In The Bank thing is becoming very real. It’s too late to not panic. Chelsea starts getting paranoid about the prospects of having to deal with the MITB Briefcase. She doesn’t understand why Nikki Bella is coming after her now. Paige joins the conversation. Chelsea is still panicking about MITB and Nikki Bella. Paige says that Nikki is a snake. Paige tells Chelsea to focus on their upcoming match with Fatal Influence. Paige tells Chelsea that her and Tiffany will have her back. Chelsea says that she’ll the girls out there after she’s done with this panic attack. Nikki Bella joins the conversation. Nikki says that Chelsea is such a joke of a champion, and she’s an idiot for listening to Paige. What Nikki told Chelsea last week was not a suggestion, it was a warning. Nikki doesn’t care if Chelsea has Malibu Barbie and Goth Girl on her side. Chelsea doesn’t understand why Nikki is talking to her like this. Nikki says that nobody is going to stop her from becoming WWE Women’s Champion. Paige reenters the scene with Tiffany Stratton as Nikki walks away. Chelsea says to never meet your heroes.

Second Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Giulia vs. Lash Legend In A 2026 Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifier 

Giulia and Legend start shoving each other before the bell rings. Giulia slaps Legend in the face. Legend clotheslines Giulia. Charlotte with a running shoulder block into the turnbuckles. – We got footage of Cody Rhodes telling Michael Cole off-camera that he was going to kick Randy Orton’s fucking head in following their sit-down interview on SmackDown last week.

– Giulia runs into Blake Monroe in the backstage area. Aww, is someone upset that they lost? I guess no Money In The Bank for you, Giulia. Blake says that maybe it’s time for Giulia to go back to where she came from, obscurity, there’s the door. Giulia slaps Blake in the face. Giulia and Blake got into a massive pull apart brawl. Nick Aldis is pissed. No more sneak attacks, no more shenanigans. Next week, we’ll finally get our one-on-one match with Blake Monroe and Giulia and be rest assured that this match will indeed take place this time.

Michael Cole Sit-Down Interview With Randy Orton 

Randy Orton: Are you going to ask me a question?

Michael Cole: Well, honesty, Randy, I’m not quite sure why I’m here or what you want me to say.

Randy Orton: Let me help you. Let me help you do your job, okay. How about you start with this, in regard to Cody’s interview last week, remind me, what specifically did Cody say in that interview?

Michael Cole: He said that he didn’t want to compromise himself, that he didn’t think that he needed to change, that he felt disappointed.

Randy Orton: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember all that. But there’s something else, I can’t quite remember what it was. I think maybe the cameras stop rolling. I only saw it after it appeared on social media, when another fellow 14X World Champion posted it.

Michael Cole: He said that was gonna kick your head off.

Randy Orton: Oh, that’s right, I forgot, thank you. Why do you think he said that when the cameras stopped rolling?

Michael Cole: I’m not quite sure.

Randy Orton: Well, it was a rhetorical question. I will tell you why. And it’s because Cody Rhodes doesn’t want the world to know that he has truly been, how did he put it, compromised. Now, Cody, he thinks he’s a good guy, hell, I think he’s a good guy, everyone thinks he’s a good guy. But Cody is not a liar, but I do believe he believes all the gibberish that spills out of his mouth when he talks about how he’s been uncompromised. Because if anyone has been compromised, it’s Cody. Let me put it this way, the Cody Rhodes today wasn’t the Cody Rhodes from 20 years ago, there’s been a lot of changes, a lot of compromises in-between now and back then. Let me take you back to when he debuted, 20-some-odd years ago, when he was Dusty’s Boy, Dusty’s Kid, then he was my protege, then came Legacy, then he was Dashing, then he was Stardust. And then he left, he found himself, got a neck tattoo, a three-piece suit, a pocket watch, rebranded himself as The American Nightmare, and he’s come back and has had a hell of a run. But if there’s one thing Cody has done throughout his entire career, it is change, still a good guy, though. Now, if I were to ask you who in the locker room has never changed, who in the locker room has never been compromised, what would you answer be? I’ll tell you what your answer would be, it would be me, the man sitting right in front of you. I have never changed. I have always been me. I have always been Randy Orton. WWE Superstars do interviews all the time and say you just got to be you with the volume turned up, you times ten. You don’t need apply any multiplications or mathematics to me and my character, it’s me, it’s Randy Orton times one, which is Randy Freaking Orton. Check my birth certificate, driver’s license, tax records, it all says Randy Orton. I am me, will always be me. I’ve done despicable things to other people in this business to get what I want. And what do I want, World Titles. I’ve got 14 of them, and I want another one, and another one, and another one, and I’m gonna be who I need to be, which is me in order to get that job done. Now, I don’t believe in Gray, Mike, I believe in Black and White. You said, eventually Cody is gonna be across the ring from me, I believe he’s either gonna kick me or he’s not, but if he kicks me in his fantasy land, he’s no longer the good guy, he truly is compromised. And if he doesn’t kick me, then Cody Rhodes has peaked. So, let me ask you a question, Cole. Do you think he’s gonna do it? Do you think he’s gonna do it, Cole? Does he have it in him to kick me in the skull? I’m sorry, I don’t mean to interrupt you, I’m all amped up.

Michael Cole: I don’t think I’m in the position to answer that.

Randy Orton: Not in the position? He’s your best freaking friend, QB1 and all that nonsense. I saw the whispers, I saw the hug. Answer the question, do you think Cody Rhodes has the capabilities to kick me in the freaking head or not, yes or no?

Michael Cole: No.

Randy Orton: No, and I think you’re dead on, I think you’re right about that. Cole, the interview is over, have a great rest of the show.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Sami Zayn. What are his thoughts on Randy Orton being on the long list of challengers gunning for his Undisputed WWE Championship? Of course, Randy Orton wants to be WWE Champion. A lot of people want to be WWE Champion, okay. But there’s a lot of people specifically who don’t want Sami Zayn to be WWE Champion, like Nick Aldis, because we saw what he did to Sami during his first title reign bringing in CM Punk at the last minute. And last week, Nick Aldis tried to do the same exact thing with Kevin Owens, but this time Sami prevailed. And that’s the story of this championship reign going forward. Whatever they throw at Sami Zayn, he will prevail. Why, because he’s the only one around here who’s doing things for the right reasons. As long as Sami Zayn has the WWE Championship, this is a symbol of hope, a lesson in perseverance for millions of kids around the world, that you can do things the right way, that you can stay true to who you are, you could be WWE Champion, and still be The Last Real Good Guy. And all these other guys that Sami has breathing down his neck, these vultures, these sharks he has circling around him, they are all doing it for the wrong reasons. They are all doing it, because they’re addicted to the spotlight. Finn Balor appears. Finn says that Sami has it all backwards. The reason they’re all coming after him is because he chose to screw them all over on his way to the top, and now it’s coming back to haunt him. Finn tells Sami that he’s coming for him. Finn doesn’t care if don’t win the Money In The Bank Briefcase, he’s coming for Sami, and he’s coming for the WWE Championship, and then we will all see what real justice looks like. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae appears after Finn walks way. Sami called it perfect timing, because they need to talk about this situation. Johnny reminded Sami that they helped him beat CM Punk last week, where’s his title shot. Sami wants to level with Johnny right now, he’s right, he deserves a title shot, much more than these other guys. Sami had a conversation with Nick Aldis about giving Johnny a World Title Match, and he said no. Sami told Nick that he wouldn’t leave his office until he got something. Both Johnny and Candice will be competing in Money In The Bank Qualifying Matches. Sami says that’s the way they move forward, Johnny as Mr. Money In The Bank, and Sami as the WWE Champion. Sami reassures Johnny that he’ll get a title shot, but the point he’s trying to make is that he has Johnny’s back. Is Johnny Gargano ride or die for Sami Zayn? Yes, Johnny is indeed ride or die for Sami Zayn.

Third Match: Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, Paige vs. Fatal Influence In A 6-Woman Tag Team Match 

Paige and Fallon Henley will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Henley tugs on Paige’s hair. Henley backs Paige into the turnbuckles. Henley pie faces Paige. Paige slaps Henley in the chest. Paige applies a side headlock. Henley whips Paige across the ring. Paige ducks a clothesline from Henley. Paige thrust kicks the midsection of Henley. Henley tags in Reid. Paige ducks under a right hand from Reid. Paige dropkicks Reid. Paige with Muay Thai Knee Strikes. Simultaneous tag to Stratton. Green with a Running Meteora across the back of Reid’s neck. Stratton with a Running Hip Attack against the ropes. Paige SuperKicks Jayne. Team Chelsea start hugging each other in the center of the ring. – We saw the clip of Damian Priest viciously attacking R-Truth in the trainer’s room at the WWE Performance Center. Priest asks Truth if he understands him now. Priest is choking Truth with a steel chair. Priest says no more buddies, no more jokes, no more bullshit. Priest should be a champion right now instead of wasting his time with Truth. Priest tells Truth to go bother someone else.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with GUNTHER. How is he approaching this Men’s MITB Qualifying Match with two guys he has recent history with CM Punk and Finn Balor? Gunther says that it’s a disgrace that a wrestler of his caliber has to participate in a qualifier for a ladder climbing contest. Finn Balor is the one who has the major opportunity tonight, because what GUNTHER told him a couple weeks ago, he’ll admit that Finn has a solid right hook, but what he told him was the truth, because he can’t keep his emotions in check. Tonight, we’ll find out who Gunther is dealing with, is it the legendary Finn Balor or is it who he’s been saying as of late, The Ghost Of Finn Balor? Danhausen appears. He’s taking over the interview now. Danhausen says that him and GUNTHER are going to win the Human Monies In The Bank Briefcase, split the money in half, and buy some nice watches. Hold on, Gunther is not gonna split the money. Gunther grabs Danhausen by his throat before he could finish saying, YOU ARE CURSED. Listen up, you freak, everybody falls for Danhausen’s bullshit, but Gunther  doesn’t. Gunther tells Danhausen to stay the hell away from him.

– We see a clip of CM Punk throwing the first pitch and singing the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley Field for his beloved Chicago Cubs.

– Next week on SmackDown from Denver, Colorado, Tiffany Stratton will battle Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae In A Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifier. Cody Rhodes will take on Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano In The Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifier.

So, Indianapolis, what do you wanna talk about? Now, we can talk about the Money In The Bank Briefcase, the opportunity that presents, but that’s next week’s battle. Let’s keep it simple, let’s make it black and white. At SummerSlam, I had CM Punk defeated, I was about to go on and win the Undisputed WWE Championship for a fourth time. And that didn’t happen, not because of CM Punk, no, that didn’t happen because of the interference of Randy Orton. And I know that’s not politically correct, none of this is going to be, but it is a fact, and I frame it with respect, because I greatly respect CM Punk. Now, CM Punk has gone on to lose the title to Sami Zayn. And I know that I can beat Sami Zayn, but what I know, and what I need to do are two different things. What I need to do is address the lunatic, ranting, and raving to Michael Cole earlier, and that being Randy Orton.

Randy Orton talking about, through all the changes in my career, that I’ve already been compromised. He’s framed it as, if I punt Randy Orton, that’s somehow a good thing, and it’s somehow a bad thing. He’s making it an unwinnable position for me. Unwinnable position? I’ve been asked by my boss, in front of 40,000 people, to give him my soul. I had to defeat John Cena on his retirement run. My entire first reign as WWE Champion was against beloved and deeply connected to each and everyone of you WWE Superstars. I am the king of unwinnable positions. And we’re going to keep this simple, we’re going to keep it black and white. Position, the position you will be in Randy Orton is the same one where I hesitated, but this time, this time I promise you that I am going to kick your head off your shoulders, but I can’t promise you that you will be the only one.

Fourth Match: CM Punk vs. GUNTHER vs. Finn Balor In A 2026 Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifier
