– Sarah Schreiber had a backstage interview with Cruz Montana. Cruz feels like he belongs tonight. He’s going to say this until there’s no more air left in his lungs, because he’s a proud Puerto Rican kid from the Bronx, who had a dream and the drive to chase. He’s been counted out, looked over, and laughed at, and he took all of that and said, watch me work. That NXT Title is just one three count away. Cruz is walking into the toughest battle of his entire career. Tony D’Angelo is coming with his experience. Grayson Waller is going to be picking his spots. And Zilla Fatu is coming at all three of them like an animal. This is where Cruz thrives, back against the wall, head on a swivel. What separates Cruz from the other three is that he’s ready and willing to go places they haven’t, he’s ready to go to hell and back, because he knows it’ll be worth it at the end of the night. Cruz says that winning the NXT Championship won’t just be for him, his daughter and his family, it will be the moment where he silences all the critics who said that he couldn’t.

– Sarah Schreiber is recapping the show with NXT General Manager Robert Stone. Stone tells us to stay tuned, because there’s going to be developments coming in the NXT Tag Team Division. Stone announces that NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 will be taking place on October 31st.

– We see Myles Borne and Tavion Heights talking in the locker room. Tavion is dejected about losing his first title in his first defense. Myles apologizes for putting too much on their plate. Tavion says that they can’t change anything, it’s in the past. Myles says that they’ll get another shot at the Tag Titles. Tavion says that they have to do everything they can to make sure that Myles doesn’t lose the NXT North American Championship. Myles tells Tavion that he will be champion again. Tavion says that Myles is going to be his brother for life. Tavion tells Myles to go out there and even the score with The Vanity Project.
