Paul Heyman, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Adam Pearce Segment

Drew McIntyre: Austin, world, welcome to Friday Night SmackDown. You know, when Drew McIntyre was first drafted to SmackDown, I said I was willing to start at the bottom, work my way to the top, earn myself a title match, yet after no matter how many wins I seem to get, no matter how many moments I make, our tribal champion just keeps ducking me. So, it seems like I’m going to have to force his hand. It seems like Drew McIntyre has to become Mr. Money In The Bank.

Speaking of earning title matches, Brock Lesnar showed up last week and already has one at SummerSlam. That’s alright, good for him, that’s the Brock way. I tend to do things the hard way. I’ll be watching that match very closely. And lads, I hope you tear each other apart in that Last Standing Match. Use all the weapons in the building. Destroy each other, because whoever survives, Mr. Winner, when you finally get back on your feet, just expect Mr. Money In The Bank to Claymore your ass.

Sheamus: Big Bad, Drew McIntyre, I’m gonna Claymore your ass. Why don’t you cool down your bleeding jets, McKagus, you know what I’m saying? Now, you’re right about one thing, that Last Man Standing Match will be the perfect time to cash in the Money In The Bank Contract after Brock Lesnar and Roman completely destroy each other. But let’s be honest, fella, you’re off your bleeding rocker if you think you’re gonna be the one to do it. And the truth is, fella, you’re only in this match because Adam Pearce felt sorry for you, that’s the truth, you know what I mean?

The truth is, Drew, you don’t belong. I mean, you’ll probably be a bigger bust than the Longhorn’s newest recruit, Archie Manning. The truth hurts. Listen, let’s be honest, Drew, we go back a long way. Your only experience with the Money In The Bank Contract is watching somebody else cash in on you and take your title. Oh, man, that must have been hard to take. But, you see, oh Sheamy here is a former Money In The Bank Winner. I want you to know, everybody, the man I cashed in on was none other than Roman Bleedin Reigns.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I serve as special counsel to your Tribal Chief, The Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. The same Roman Reigns as you two have so aptly described will defend the Undisputed Title at SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match. A Last Man Standing Match, I might add, that will not be won by Brock Lesnar. No. The victory in that match and still Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns. But we have a problem here.

Because even though Roman Reigns is the GOAT, the greatest of all time, after a Last Man Standing Match against Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns will be vulnerable to a cash-in of that Money In The Bank Contract by someone like Sheamus or Drew McIntyre. That’s not a knock on my tribal chief. Brock Lesnar would be vulnerable. Not that Brock Lesnar has a chance of winning. I’m making the point. The point is this, the champion, which will be Roman Reigns, will be vulnerable after a Last Man Standing Match. And as Sheamus said, it has happened before. And I’m here tonight to ensure that it won’t happen again. No booing, no booing.

Drew McIntyre: I think they want you to finally make your point.

Paul Heyman: My point is, this man, this great man, this top executive, this man whose representation is beyond reproach, has a very special announcement to make. Don’t you, Mr. Pearce?

Adam Pearce: Drew, Sheamus, it has come to my attention that perhaps I was a bit hasty in putting you both into the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. After all, Neither of you lost the match against each other two weeks ago to qualify, yet neither of you won either. And after some, shall we say, influence by Mr. Heyman, it is my duty to inform you that WWE management has chosen to overrule my decision. Gentlemen, neither of you will be a part of the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Sheamus: What the hell is this? You’re spineless.

Adam Pearce: However, this is a path forward. The both of you can qualify if you can put your personal rivalry aside and team together tonight and defeat The Bloodline’s Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos.
