Finn Balor: Saint Patrick’s Day 2021, Finn Balor, STILL NXT Champion. Kyle O’Reilly, beat him. Pete Dunne, beat him. Adam Cole, beat him. And now, only one man remains. Killer Kross, I’ve been waiting for you. And at Takeover: Stand and Deliver, your time is up.

Killer Kross: You know, this entire situation was never gonna happen until you and I settled our separate affairs. And now, it’s me and you, one on one, mono amano, nobody else involved, otherwise this whole entire confrontation is meaningless. Because here at NXT, they need to know who the real champion is around here. You need to know it, I need to know it, the entire world needs to know it.

Finn Balor: Everybody wants to be the champion the real champion walks in the room. I’m gonna tell you something that no one else has the balls to say to your face, you walk like a champion, you talk like a champion, but there’s one problem. Finn Balor is the champion and you don’t have what it takes to be in the main event and beat me.

Killer Kross: I promise you, at NXT Takeover, you are gonna know exactly what it feels like when I squeeze all of the oxygen out of your skull and I choke you out.

Finn Balor: And you’re gonna know what it feels like to be in the main event of Takeover and choke.

Scarlett Bordeaux: I’ve already seen this in the cards. This, right here, two champions, both draped in gold, the world in all, it all happens for a reason.

Danny Burch: Woah, woah, woah. Lads, let’s have it right. You two burps standing there chatting your big old fighting words, giving it a large. And make no mistake about it boys, that’s all they are, words. And, Balor, you know who you should be fighting for the NXT Championship?

Oney Lorcan: It’s the best technical wrestler this place has ever seen, Pete Dunne. The man who held the UK Championship for 415 days. Me and Danny, we know Pete can beat you Finn.

Scarlett Bordeaux: Boys, boys, boys, you are confident, aren’t you? You know what you want, don’t you? You both know what you bring to the table, right? And you wouldn’t stand the word coward being associated with your name, would you?

Danny Burch: Mate, she’s right, we ain’t cowards. We’re the champions. So, I’ll tell you what, NXT Tag Team Championship against you two, tonight.

Scarlett Bordeaux: Do you see what I’m saying? Everything moment happens for a reason. You can’t change fate.
