Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jey Uso, King Corbin and Sheamus Segment

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, your tribal chief has authorized me tonight to enlighten you on some recent history. Two weeks ago, right here on SmackDown, we let the secret out of the bag, we told everybody what only the two of us knew. And two days later at Payback, what happened? Roman Reigns wrecked everyone and left, and he left, the Universal Heavyweight Champion. Last Friday, right here on SmackDown, full transparency, your tribal chief said, no secrets, tell them everything. And as special consul, I laid all our cards on the table. And on that same very night, his bloodline, his family, his cousin Jey Uso stepped up.

Not only did Jey Uso emerged as the only benefactor, the only beneficiary of a fatal four way, Jey Uso dethroned a king, he braved a brogue, he solved a riddle, all in one night to emerge as the number one contender for the Universal Heavyweight Championship. Therefore, your champion has bestowed upon me, the honor and the privilege of introducing to you, that number one contender. The challenger for the Universal Championship at The Clash Of The Champions, ladies and gentlemen, yes, legally he’s Roman Reigns cousin, but he may as well be his blood brother, I give to you, Mr. Jey Uso.

Jey Uso: Paul Heyman, you go way back with my family, that’s why I got love for you, uce. So I wanted to come out here, tell you to your face, thank you. Because now, I get to compete against my blood, my cousin, the Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Clash Of Champions, ah yes sir.

Paul Heyman: Jey, I would never be so presumptuous as to interrupt you, but sir you don’t owe me any thanks, the appreciation should go to your cousin. When Big E was taken out, this is not something that I brainstormed, this was his idea, I just implemented and executed a command from my boss, from your tribal chief, the reignsing, defending, undisputed, Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns: You don’t have to thank me, we’re blood. Years, we thought about this. Family, man, I’m proud of you, my whole family is proud of you, you’ve earned this. But nobody gave you this, you earned this. You’re about to be in the main event of Clash Of Champions, you’re about to take a huge pay day home to your family, man, this is your moment. You don’t have to thank me, this is your moment. At Clash Of Champions, that’s not gonna be your moment, don’t look at this right now, look at me, this won’t be your moment. Like when we were kids, I’m gonna whoop your ass. This has to stay on my shoulder for our family to stay where it is, you understand me? Just like when we were little kids, i’m gonna whoop your ass, and it’s all love.

Jey Uso: We ain’t little kids anymore, uce, we’re grown men now, you know what i’m saying? It’s different.

King Corbin: Enough, enough, enough. Look, it doesn’t take a genius to figure this out. It was a set up, all along. I mean, Roman Reigns, you pulled a few strings to get a handpicked opponent for your very first title defense. And that guy, well, he just happens to be your cousin. I mean this is a classic case of nepotism, and it makes me sick. There’s nothing I despise more than watching somebody walk around and abuse their power.

Sheamus: Sorry lads, you know, I’m gonna have to agree with Royal Highness, here. I mean, this whole situation, it stinks. Now, last week, when I kindly reminded Big E where his car was parked, he took an unfortunate spill. But right there and then, man, it should’ve been a triple threat match. But what happens? Strings are pulled, and Jey Uso is now in the match. I mean, how could anybody prepare on such short notice, you know what I mean? I’m blown away by how this happens.

Jey Uso: Woah, uce, hold up, you said you wanted time to prepare?

Sheamus: Now, lad, the grown up hasn’t finished talking.

Jey Uso: Wait up, don’t tell me what to do, you’re not my momma, you said want time to prepare. How about this then, uce, how about the both of you prepare to take this tag match between me and big cuz? We can call this, The Blood vs. The ButtMud.

After all that, everybody is asking, how Sasha Banks is? Is Sasha feeling any better? When is Sasha gonna be back? But nobody is asking, how Bayley is doing, no one is asking how I feel. Do you think I enjoyed doing that to my tag partner? Do you think it made me feel good to take this steel chair and destroy my best friend? Well, ding dong, hello, yes I did, I loved every single second of it. And now you brought me out here because everybody wants some answers. Michael Cole wants to know why I did what I did, don’t you Michael, huh? You guys want answers, well, actually i’m full of questions right now. So Sasha, I know that you’re watching.
