Jeff Hardy & Sheamus Contract Signing

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen, this Sunday at WWE Backlash, Jeff Hardy and Sheamus will face each other, one on one. Now, before we get to that match, WWE Management has requested that these two superstars sign an official contract, so please welcome, The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. And please welcome, The Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy. Sheamus, what is this all about?

Sheamus: Apologies Renee, I wouldn’t want to offend a lady.

Renee Young: Offend me, how?

Jeff Hardy: No worries, Renee, I don’t give a damn what it’s for. After all i’ve been through, I mean, Sheamus, you hit a man with a car and tried to blame me for it.

Sheamus: Woah, don’t go pointing your finger at me. I’ll tell you what I told the police. I had nothing to do with what happen to you and Elias.

Jeff Hardy: You tried to ruin my life, you tried to take away my livelihood, man. You have no idea what you’ve unleashed at Backlash. Not even your little security team is gonna be able to help you then.

Sheamus: You think they’re here for me? They’re here for you, fella. Now, before I sign this contract, I want some insurances. Now, I know you’re cleared after the car accident two weeks ago, but you’re still a man that can’t be trusted. I don’t know whether it’s the booze or the pills, but a leopard can’t change his spots, that’s why I had my lawyer convince WWE Management, that in the interest and safety of everybody, that before I put my signature on the dotted line right there, you’re gonna have to take an urine test. And Jeff, if you fail, which, let’s be honest, you probably will, then you’re in a whole heap of trouble. And you definitely won’t be getting that match at Backlash, because there’s no way i’m gonna step in the ring with a junkie. It’s the truth.

Jeff Hardy: My name is Hardy and i’m an alcoholic. And if this is what I have to do, to get to you, then fine. Alcoholism, addiction, whatever it is i’ve been battling since my early 20’s, i’m tired of fighting, Sheamus. I go to meetings every week, and I talk about how I let my family down, I talk about how I let my fans down, I talk about how I let myself down. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, man. My demons are starving. And sometimes all it takes to want to feed them, is to be in a presence of a bastard like you. No, not this time. I’m gonna be a beacon of light for everybody else who struggles with this. So, I’ll go along with your BS, just so I could my hands on you, this Sunday.

Sheamus: Well, that’s the spirit, Jeff. That’s great. And we all know it takes 24 hours to get a result from a test, I mean, you should know, you’ve taken plenty of them. But, thanks to Dr. Kirshenbaum here, he’s gonna administer a rapid test, with immediate results. I even paid for the whole thing, myself, that’s how much I care. And just so there’s no shenanigans going on, Dr. Kirshenbaum is gonna supervise the whole thing. And Renee, I think it’s time to skedaddle, because Jeff looks like he’s having a little bit of stage freight. And while Jeff is doing his business there, this is a public service announcement from The Celtic Warrior, to everybody at home.

Kids, if you’re a user, you’re a loser. Don’t wind up like Jeff Hardy, don’t do drugs, thank you very much. Come on, Jeff, hurry up, we don’t have all night, these people have somewhere to go, fella. Wow, check it out, somebody really enjoyed happy hour today, huh? Oh, what’s the matter, Jeff? You’re angry at me? How about before the doctor gives the bad news, you know, is there anything you’d like to say? Maybe you would like to apologize to your family, would you like to do that? Or maybe you could issue a positive message to everybody at home, like, I don’t know, let’s say, just say no. You like that one?

Jeff Hardy: You’re really having a blast with this, aren’t you? You know, another classic saying comes to mind. Sometimes it’s better to be pissed off than pissed on.

Hardy throws the urine at Sheamus and signs the contract to close the segment.
