Cody Rhodes Promo

A self proclaimed, spanish god. A Murder Hawk. A UK Paragon with pretty blue eyes in the back of his head. The intangible and a legend, so who am I? I wonder during these pressing times, has my sword been sharpened or have I not answered the call. Where do I fit into all of this? It really can’t be future endeavors unless you actually intend to endeavor. So am I the 3-Star general mid-carder for life? Broke the throne because I was afraid to sit in it? You hear something enough times, it starts to be comfortable like old leather. Am I comfortable? Am I scattered in my role? I’m going to meet one of these men in the semi-finals and I need to answer the call.

32 years of professional wrestling on Turner Networks and Warner Media. What history, what presence and what gumption of a network to commission a big and beautiful new title belt, for them, for us. And AEW critics will undoubtedly move the goalposts and that is okay because history will show that nearly a year old, we added another major championship. Complacency, that’s a dirty word in wrestling. Ironically, it is the ally of the top guy, because those who are complacent and those who are content to just collect the check, they just become bodies, they become flesh to pound. And none of these men are that. All of these men could be champion. Will can be defined as the deliberate or fixed desire or intention. There’s plenty of will in this tournament. Now we found out who has enough of it.

Sammy Guevara Promo

Why would Sammy Guevara want to be the TNT Champion? I mean, I was in the first ever AEW Match, I was in the first ever Dynamite match. And how about the first ever TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara, The Best Ever, The Spanish God, that has a great sound to it, doesn’t it? If you don’t like it, it’s okay cause it’s about to become a reality, so just go ahead and get used to it. Darbster, right? The guy who paints his face because he’s afraid to go and show who he really is. I’ll go in to expose him, i’ll go and expose Darby for the fraud that he is. He beat me at Revolution, congrats, he got one good win, one fluke win.

But now when it really matters the most, on Dynamite, in this tournament, the first round, one of us has to go. I have Chris Jericho as my father figure. We’re one half of The Sex Gods. He’s the guy who brought me in to AEW, he’s the guy that’s going to put his name on Sammy Guevara’s name, he’s right there telling me everything. Sammy Guevara is that damn good. I’m in The Inner Circle for a reason. I’m about to go and bring back a championship to my group. Because all I care about is getting the W, getting the win, becoming the new TNT Champion, baby. But I guarantee you, everybody, to all seven other people, go against me in this tournament and you’re going to fall to The Spanish God.

BROKEN Matt Hardy Promo

I am thankful that all of you have joined me, the AEW audience, because these words and these events must be documented. A fortnight ago, I laid out a proposition to Christopher Jericho, le hole of the ass. I invited him here to the iconic Hardy Compound to face me in a battle, a battle that I would coined, The ELITE DELETION!! Seven nights ago on Dynamite, I did not hear a word, the only thing I saw was an episode of The Bubbly Bunch. Personally, I think it should be called, a melting pot of moon cops, but that’s besides the point. Jericho, while I was watching that, my essence, Damascus could tell that your essence was trembling in fear as you spilled the juice that is orange all over your counter. The only one of your underlings that said a word, that had the testicles to mention my name was, Sammy Guevara, the false god.

Well Samuel, I welcome you here if you wish to fight Jericho’s fight for him, but be warned, Samuel. If you come to The Hardy Compound, I will mash you up into a bafangul and eat you. Fraud Latino, Sammy, come here and I will sentence you to DELETION. Wait, it all makes sense now. I understand why Jericho did not want to mention my name, because he does not know how to handle my broken brilliance, YAASSS. Fortunately things are different this time, with Broken Matt Hardy, I know Broken Matt Hardy for some people, he is too tense, too over the top. And maybe that’s the case for you, le hole of the ass. Maybe you should speak to a different entity. The other entity that is, Matt Hardy, the mortal vessel, the one that is unkillable. Speak to him, Jericho.

I know Chris Jericho for a long time, for well over 20 years. And during that time, we’ve been friends, we’ve been enemies, got along, got heat, we’ve been through it all. But still, whenever I showed up on Dynamite and you were so angry that I had the back of The ELITE. My friends, I mean, great guys. Matt and Nick Jackson, two of my closest friends in life. Cody Rhodes, a great friend. Kenny Omega, I respect the hell out of him. And these guys are powerful people in AEW. They’re the foundation, they are the pillars of All Elite Wrestling. And then, I got it, I understood why you were so mad, Chris. Because if you knock out all the pillars of AEW, it creates chaos. And in chaos, there is opportunity. There’s opportunity for you to sit on top of the mountain, Chris.

There’s opportunity for you to be the megalomaniac that you are deep down. Chris, I can’t allow that to happen because AEW is not a platform for Chris Jericho. Hell, it’s not a platform for Matt Hardy. AEW is a platform for the future, they are trying to keep this business alive, they’re trying to do something great for the generations that will follow us, and I am going to protect that concept, Chris. And if you want to send, Sammy Guevara, who’s an amazingly talented dude, he reminds me of a young Chris Jericho, as a matter of fact. But Sammy, I’m gonna kick your ass and i’ll keep kicking every ass in The Inner Circle until I get to you, Chris. And then ultimately, I am gonna kick your ass.
