Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Kane, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar In-Ring Segment: 

Welcome to Monday Night Raw. Last week, there was no decisive winner in the Kane/Braun Strowman match. Currently, there’s no opponent for Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble PPV. Braun Strowman comes out to interrupt Angle. Strowman feels that he’s earned the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. Last week, he was the only one standing. Kane joins the conversation.  He’s caused more destruction than anyone in the WWE over the last twenty years, so no one is moving ahead of him.

Brock Lesnar’s list of victims is impressive and it includes his brother, the Undertaker, but it doesn’t include him. Kane will get his chance at the Royal Rumble, unless Strowman is man enough to stop him. Angle is trying to calm down Strowman. Paul Heyman comes out on the stage. Heyman says that there will be no discussion without input from the title holder, his client, the Reigning, Defending, Undisputed Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. Kurt Angle has an announcement to make.

At the Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar will be taking on Kane and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match For The WWE Universal Championship. Angle makes a b-line out of the ring. Kane punches Brock. Brock clotheslines Strowman over the top rope. Kane goes for The ChokeSlam, but Brock counters with a back elbow strike. Brock drops Kane with The F5. 

First Match: Seth Rollins vs. Jason Jordan 

Samoa Joe is watching the match from the ringside area. Rollins with a waist lock go-behind to Jordan. Jordan responds with a single leg takedown. Jordan with two waist lock takedowns to Rollins. Jordan applies a side headlock. Jordan drops Rollins with a shoulder tackle. Rollins leapfrogs over Jordan. Rollins ducks a clothesline from Jordan. Rollins delivers a quick thrust kick. Rollins clotheslines Jordan over the top rope.

Coming out of the commercial break, Jordan is ramming his shoulders into the midsection of Rollins. Rollins kicks Jordan in the gut. Rollins sends Jordan out of the ring. Jordan catches Rollins in mid-air. Jordan drives Rollins back first into the ringside barricade. Jordan rolls Rollins back into the ring. Jordan with the lateral press for a two count. Jordan is mauling Rollins in the corner. Jordan whips Rollins back first across the turnbuckles. Rollins kicks out of the pinning predicament.

Rollins fires up with two knife edge chops. Jordan applies a rear chin lock. Rollins gets back to a vertical base. Jordan with a series of Running Turnbuckle Thrusts. Jordan connects with the Corner Spear for a two count. Jordan delivers a clubbing haymaker. Jordan and Rollins are trading back and forth shots. Jordan with a Back Breaker for a two count. Jordan goes back to the rear chin lock. Jordan goes for a Back Body Drop, but Rollins counters with a Crossbody Block for a two count. Rollins with a FlatLiner that sends Jordan face first to the middle turnbuckle. Rollins goes for a SuperKick, but Jordan counters with an Exploder Suplex. Rollins decks Jordan with The SlingBlade. Rollins follows that with a SlingShot Leg Drop.

Rollins with a SpringBoard Clothesline for a two count. Rollins is distracted by Samoa Joe. Jordan levels Rollins with a Over Head Belly to Belly Suplex for a two count. Jordan blocks The King’s Landing. Rollins creates distance with a Wrecking Ball Dropkick. Rollins lands a Suicide Dive. Jordan and Rollins avoids the referee’s ten count. Rollins with a Leaping Enzuigiri to Jordan. Jordan responds with The Roll Through Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Jordan places Rollins on the top turnbuckle.

Jordan goes for The Avalanche Belly to Belly Suplex, but Rollins counters with a HeadButt. Rollins with a Frog Splash for a two count. Jordan is trying to regain his composure on the outside. Rollins delivers a Leaping Knee Strike off the ring apron. Rollins shoves Jordan into Samoa Joe. Rollins SuperKicks Joe. Rollins rolls Jordan back into the ring. Jordan with the Victory Roll for a two count. Rollins connects with The King’s Landing to pickup the victory. After the match, Rollins starts brawling with Samoa Joe. Joe cheapshots Rollins. Joe with The Uranage Slam to Rollins. Joe transitions into a ground and pound attack. Joe clotheslines Jordan on the floor.

Winner: Seth Rollins via Pinfall 

Bray Wyatt Promo:

Second Match: Finn Balor vs. The MizTourage in a Two on One Handicap Match

 Balor and Dallas will start things off. Balor side steps Dallas into the turnbuckles. Test of strength in the center of the ring. Dallas tags in Axel. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Axel with a Waist Lock Go-Behind to Balor. Balor shoves Axel to the corner. Axel decks Balor with a back elbow strike. Axel is ramming his shoulders into the midsection of Balor. The MizTourage are double teaming Balor.

Balor fires up with a series of haymakers. Axel goes for a Sunset Flip, but Balor counters with a Basement Dropkick for a two count. Balor applies a rear chin lock. Axel backs Balor into the ropes. Balor knocks Dallas off the ring apron. Axel with a Running Haymaker to the back of Balor’s head. The MizTourage are putting the boots to Balor in the corner. Dallas clotheslines Balor for a two count. Balor kicks Dallas in the jaw.

Balor ducks a clothesline from Dallas. Following a double leg takedown, Balor delivers a Leaping Double Stomp for a two count. Axel transitions into a ground and pound attack. Axel places Balor on the top turnbuckle. Balor sends Axel crashing to the canvas. Balor sets up for The Coupe De Grace, but Dallas gets in the way. The MizTourage gets themselves intentionally disqualified. Hideo Itami makes his way to the ring. Itami with a Buzzsaw Kick to Axel. Itami follows that with a RoundHouse Kick to Dallas.

Winner: Finn Balor via Disqualification 

Third Match: Finn Balor & Hideo Itami vs. The MizTourage 

Balor and Dallas will start things off. Balor applies a wrist lock. Balor tags in Itami. Itami with a Flying Double Axe Handle to Dallas. Itami is applying pressure to the wrist of Dallas. Itami tags in Balor. Balor with a Flying Double Axe Handle of his own. Balor applies an arm-bar. Dallas shoves Balor to the corner. Dallas transitions into a ground and pound attack. Dallas tags in Axel.

Axel connects with a Back Breaker for a two count. Axel drives Balor’s head to the canvas. Axel repeatedly stomps on Balor chest. Following a snap mare takeover, Axel applies an arm-bar. The MizTourage continues to cut the ring in half. Double Clothesline only gets a two count. Axel applies a rear chin lock. Axel goes for The Stinger Splash, but Balor ducks out of the way. Balor makes the hot tag to Itami.

Itami knocks Dallas off the ring apron. Itami goes for the Tornado DDT, but Axel blocks it. Itami with a Flying Clothesline for a two count. Itami delivers his lighting quick offense. Itami with a Bicycle Knee Strike for a two count. Balor with the SlingBlade to Axel. Balor clotheslines Dallas over the top rope. Itami lands a Hesitation Dropkick. Balor with a ShotGun Dropkick that sends Dallas crashing back first into the ringside barricade. Itami plants Axel with The Go To Sleep to pickup the victory.

Fourth Match: Drew Gulak w/Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander. The Winner Will Face Enzo Amore For The WWE CruiserWeight Championship 

Enzo joins the commentary team for this match. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Alexander backs Gulak into the turnbuckles. Gulak with a single leg takedown to Alexander. Alexander applies a side headlock. Alexander dodges an axe handle strike from Gulak. Alexander connects with a Leg Scissors TakeOver. Alexander follows that with a dropkick. Alexander lands a SomerSault Plancha. Alexander rolls Gulak back into the ring.

Alexander fires off multiple knife edge chops. Gulak applies a waist lock. Alexander transitions into a front face lock. Standing Switch Exchange leads us to a SuperPlex which sends both men tumbling to the outside. Coming out of the commercial break, Alexander goes for The Lumbar Check, but Gulak counters with a Inside Out Lariat. Gulak applies a Bow and Arrow Stretch. Alexander kicks Gulak in the jaw. Alexander follows that with a uppercut. Alexander connects with a Back Body Drop.

Gulak and Alexander trading back and forth shots. Alexander ducks a clothesline from Gulak. Alexander with a Standing Spanish Fly for a two count. Alexander with a Spinning Heel Kick to Gulak. Alexander goes for a HandSpring RoundHouse Kick, but Gulak counters with an Ankle Lock. Gulak gets Alexander trapped in The Dragon Sleeper. Enzo heads to the backstage area. Alexander decks Gulak with a Forearm Smash. Alexander lands a SpringBoard Clothesline. Alexander plants Gulak with The Lumbar Check to pickup the victory.

Fifth Match: Asuka vs. Alicia Fox 

Fox is avoiding the striking game from Asuka. Asuka blocks a Big Boot from Fox. Asuka with a Waist Lock Go-Behind to Fox. Asuka applies a side headlock. Asuka drops Fox with a shoulder tackle. Asuka goes for The Fujiwara Arm-Bar, but Fox quickly heads to the bottom rope. Fox kicks Asuka in the jaw. Fox delivers a Big Boot for a two count. Fox transitions into a ground and pound attack.

Fox connects with a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Fox applies a rear chin lock. Asuka gets back to a vertical base. Asuka fires up with a series of haymakers. Asuka lands The Missile Dropkick. Asuka follows that with a Running Hip Attack. Asuka launches Fox to the other side of the ring. Asuka levels Fox with a Leg Lariat. Asuka applies the Cross Arm Breaker which forces Fox to tap out.

Sixth Match: Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Jason Jordan vs. Samoa Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro 

Rollins and Sheamus will start things off. Jordan tags himself in. Jordan knocks Joe off the ring apron. Jordan with a series of right hands to Sheamus. Jordan is distracted by Cesaro. Sheamus clotheslines Jordan. Sheamus tags in Joe. Joe repeatedly stomps on Jordan’s chest. Joe delivers multiple left jabs. Joe tags in Cesaro. Cesaro uppercuts Jordan. The Bar are cutting the ring in half. Sheamus with a Running Knee Drop for a two count. Sheamus applies a half nelson chin lock. Sheamus tags in Cesaro.

Jordan with a Belly to Back Suplex to Cesaro. Jordan tags in Rollins. Rollins lands a SpringBoard Clothesline. Rollins follows that with a SlingBlade. Rollins SuperKicks Cesaro for a two count. Rollins goes for The King’s Landing, but Cesaro counters with a back elbow strike. Cesaro launches Rollins to the ring apron. Rollins with a Leaping Leg Drop to the back of Cesaro. Rollins takes out Cesaro with a SlingShot Crossbody Block to the outside.

Coming out of the commercial break, Sheamus drives his knee to the chest of Rollins. Sheamus tags in Joe. Joe clotheslines Rollins. Joe with two Muay Thai Knee Strikes. Following a snap mare takeover, Joe applies a hammer lock. Rollins creates distance with a Jaw Breaker. Joe responds with a Running Back Elbow Strike. Sheamus follows that with a Back Breaker. Sheamus tags in Cesaro. Cesaro with a Flying Elbow Drop for a two count. Sheamus kicks Rollins behind the referee’s back. Cesaro with the lateral press for a two count. Rollins is trying to fight off tandem offense from The Bar. Sheamus levels Rollins with two Irish Curse BackBreakers.

Sheamus goes for a third Irish Curse BackBreaker, but Rollins counters with a DDT. Sheamus tags in Joe. Joe with a Clubbing Axe Handle to the back of Rollins. Joe decks Rollins with a Spinning Enzuigiri for a two count as Jordan breaks up the pin attempt. Jordan transitions into a ground and pound attack. The Bar sends Jordan out of the ring. Sheamus goes for The White Noise, but Rollins counters with a SunsetFlip for a two count. Rollins sends Sheamus shoulder first to the steel ring post. Cesaro tags himself in.

Cesaro once again cuts the ring in half with a front face lock. Rollins blocks The Dragon Suplex. Sheamus and Joe are putting the boots to Rollins on the outside. Ambrose whips Sheamus back first to the steel ring post. Joe sends Jordan to the time keepers area. Ambrose drops Joe with a Leaping Knee Strike. Cesaro goes for a Clothesline, but Rollins counters with a Back Body Drop. Cesaro knocks Ambrose off the ring apron. Rollins clotheslines Cesaro over the top rope. Rollins with a Suicide Dive to Joe and Cesaro. Rollins rolls Cesaro back into the ring. Looks like Ambrose injured his shoulder. Sheamus Brogue Kicks Rollins. Cesaro goes on to score the pinfall over Rollins. 

Winner: Samoa Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro via Pinfall 

#WOKEN Matt Hardy Segment: 

Seventh Match: The Revival vs. Rhyno & Heath Slater 

Wilder and Rhyno will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Rhyno drops Wilder with a shoulder tackle. Rhyno applies a wrist lock. Rhyno tags in Slater. Rhyno and Slater with a Double Back Elbow Strike for a one count. Wilder rams Slater’s face into the boot of Dawson. Wilder tags in Dawson. Dawson uppercuts Slater. Slater responds with a Running Forearm Smash. Dawson side steps Slater into the turnbuckles.

Dawson clotheslines Slater. Dawson repeatedly punches the forehead of Slater. The Revival with a Double Mat Slam for a two count. Wilder applies a rear chin lock. Slater gets back to a vertical base. Slater drives Wilder head to the canvas.

Wilder tags in Dawson. Slater drops Dawson with a Running Leg Lariat. Slater sends Wilder out of the ring. Wilder knocks Rhyno off the ring apron. Dawson and Slater are trading back and forth shots. Wilder makes the blind tag. Dawson slides under Slater. The Revival plants Slater with The Shattering Machine to pickup the victory.

Eight Match: Absolution vs. Mickie James, Bayley and Sasha Banks 

Mickie and Paige will start things off. Paige punches Mickie in the jaw. Mickie responds with a series of forearm shivers. Mickie with a Leaping Knee Strike to Paige. Mickie tags in Sasha. Double Vertical Suplex only gets a two count. Paige punches Sasha. Sasha kicks Paige in the chest. Sasha knocks Rose off the ring apron. Paige sends Sasha to the corner. Paige tags in Rose. Rose repeatedly stomps on Sasha chest. Absolution are cutting the ring in half.

Paige bounces Sasha head on the top turnbuckle. Deville and Rose attacks Sasha behind the referee’s back. Paige knocks Bayley and Mickie off the ring apron. Deville is unloading multiple haymakers on Bayley. Mickie and Rose are brawling on the other side of the ring. Sasha connects with a Flying Double Knee Strike for a two count. Rose and Deville transitions into a long ground and pound attack.

The referee calls for the bell. After the match, Absolution continues to attack Sasha. Nia Jax storms into the ring. Nia kicks Deville in the gut. Nia shoves Rose to the canvas. Nia connects with a Biel Throw. Nia with a Double Samoan Drop to Rose and Deville. Paige ChopBlocks Nia. Paige drops Nia with a Running Knee Strike. The entire Raw Women’s Locker Room joins the fray. Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring. Stephanie talks about the history Sasha and Alexa Bliss made in Abu Dhabi. Stephanie makes the announcement that for the first time there will be a Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
