Roman Reigns, The MizTourage and Elias In-Ring Segment: 

It was a big week for Roman Reigns. The Shield reunited and  they beat the bricks out of The New Day. The next night he an opportunity to become the Intercontinental Champion. Reigns appreciates the you deserve it chants. We see a clip of The Miz being destroyed by The Shield.  The WWE Universe are not gonna see the Miz for a while. Miz was right about one thing, the Intercontinental Title is prestigious.

Roman is a fighting champion. If you want this, all you have to do is stand up and take it. The MizTourage appears on the stage. How dare Reigns disrespect the most must see Intercontinental Champion of All Time? The only thing that hurts Curtis Axel more than the pain in his neck is seeing Reigns with his mentor’s title. Due to the other members of The Shield, they will not be able to seek revenge,  but they know someone who can. 

Elias is strumming his way to the Thompson Boling Arena. He’ll be performing later tonight, so in the mean time, the audience can hold their applause. MIz is a good guy and when he saw these two men lost and abandoned after his defeat, he knew he could guide them and lead them to find the fire that was in their hearts. Tonight, Elias will take the Intercontinental Championship.  It sounds like Elias wants to walk with the Big Dog. Elias may need to get a neck brace after their match. 

First Match: Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Rollins with a waist lock go-behind to Cesaro. Cesaro starts bending the fingers of Rollins. Rollins applies a hammer lock. Cesaro reverses the hold. Test of strength in the center of the ring. Cesaro kicks Rollins in the gut. Cesaro proceeds to stomp on Rollins back. Rollins ducks a clothesline from Cesaro. Rollins with a Running Crossbody Block. Rollins transitions into a ground and pound attack. Rollins repeatedly stomps on Cesaro’s chest in the corner. Rollins delivers multiple knife edge chops. Cesaro regains momentum with a knee lift. Cesaro deposits Rollins ribs first on the top rope.

Coming out of the commercial break, Cesaro has Rollins trapped in the Abdominal Stretch. Rollins goes for a Hip Toss, but Cesaro counters with a nasty knee strike for a one count. Cesaro rams his shoulders to the midsection of Rollins. Cesaro and Rollins are trading back and forth shots on the top turnbuckle. Rollins goes for a Flying Crossbody Block, but Cesaro counters with a Tilt-A-Whirl Back Breaker for a two count. Cesaro follows that with a SlingShot Mat Slam for another two count. Cesaro applies a Waist Lock. Cesaro connects with the Belly to Back Suplex for a two count.

Rollins applies an Abdominal Stretch. Cesaro creates separation with a Hip Toss. Rollins kicks Cesaro in the jaw. Rollins with a BlockBuster to Cesaro. Rollins delivers a flurry of haymakers. Rollins thrust kicks the midsection of Cesaro. Rollins with a Leaping Leg Drop on the ring apron. He continues this fast pace sequence with a Suicide Dive. Rollins with a Falcon Arrow for a two count. Cesaro responds with a back elbow strike. Cesaro pokes Rollins in the eye.

Cesaro with a Inside Cradle for a two count. Cesaro delivers the Cesaro Swing. Cesaro locks in the Sharpshooter. Rollins crawls to the bottom rope to create separation. Out of frustration, Cesaro goes into a deep ground and pound attack. Cesaro goes for the Neutralizer, but Rollins counters with a Back Body Drop. Rollins SuperKicks Cesaro for a two count. Cesaro fires off Two European Uppercuts. Cesaro ducks a clothesline from Rollins. Cesaro goes for a SpringBoard European Uppercut, but Rollins counters with the SuperKick in mid-air. Rollins plants Cesaro with the King’s Landing to pickup the victory.

Second Match: Samoa Joe vs. Titus O’Neil w/Apollo Crews 

Titus starts teeing off on Joe after the bell bel rings. Joe HeadButt’s Titus. Joe goes for the Coquina Clutch, but Titus blocks it. Titus delivers multiple bodyshots. Joe lands a back elbow strike. Joe decks Titus with the Spinning Enzuigiri. Joe and Titus are trading back and forth shots. Titus slaps Joe in the face. Titus drops Joe with a Big Boot for a two count. Titus is mauling Joe in the corner. Joe lands a cheap shot behind the referee’s back. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch which forces Titus to tap out.

Winner: Samoa Joe via Submission 

 Paige, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Sasha Banks In-Ring Segment: 

Bray Wyatt In-Ring Promo: 

Bray never had a childhood. He never celebrated holidays. He never carved a turkey, but at the same time he never cared. This might be a little hard for you to understand. Third Match: Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt 

Bray applies a Cravate. Hardy ducks a clothesline from Bray. Bray runs through Hardy with a Crossbody Block. Bray drops Hardy with a Body Avalanche. Bray goes for a Running Senton, but Hardy ducks out of the way. Hardy delivers a series of forearm shivers. Hardy side steps Bray into the turnbuckles.

Hardy lands a Corner Clothesline. Hardy with a Running BullDog to Bray. Bray goes for the Uranage Slam, but Hardy blocks it. Hardy connects with the Side Effect for a two count. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Bray blocks it. Hardy kicks Bray in the jaw. Hardy drives Bray’s head to the canvas. Hardy misses on the MoonSault. Bray plants Hardy with the Sister Abigail to pickup the victory.

Winner: Bray Wyatt via Pinfall 

Fourth Match: Akira Tozawa vs. Rich Swann vs. Noam Dar vs. Ariya Daivari in a Fatal Four Way Match 

Daivari kicks Tozawa in the gut. Dar repeatedly stomps on Swann’s chest in the corner. Daivari and Dar are double teaming Swann. Dar punches Tozawa in the jaw. Daivari starts lighting up Tozawa’s chest. Tozawa dodges a double clothesline from The Zo Train. Tozawa chucks Daivari out of the ring. Swann negates a leg lariat attempt by Tozawa. Tozawa leapfrogs over Swann. Tozawa and Swann are in a pinning exchange in the center of the ring. This leads us to a big standoff.

Swann sends Tozawa to the ring apron. Tozawa SuperKicks Dar. Swann takes out Daivari and Tozawa with a SomerSault Plancha. Swann with a series of knife edge chops to Dar. Swann rolls Dar back into the ring. Daivari sends Tozawa back first to the ringside barricade. Swann dropkicks Dar. Swann goes for Rolling Thunder, but Daivari counters with a SpineBuster for a two count. Dar drops Tozawa with a High Knee Strike. Daivari and Dar whips Tozawa back first across the turnbuckles. Daivari knocks Swann off the ring apron. Daivari and Dar with a Double Suplex on the floor.

Coming out of the commercial break, Tozawa drops Daivari with a Big Boot. Tozawa follows that with a Standing Senton. Dar has Tozawa perched on the top turnbuckle. Swann connects with the Tower of Doom for a two count. Swann with a Leg Lariat to Daivari. Dar knocks Swann off the top turnbuckle. Tozawa with a Helluva Kick to Dar. Tozawa takes out Dar with a Suicide Dive. Daivari lands a FrogSplash for a two count. Tozawa with the Shining Wizard to Daivari. Tozawa connects with the Senton Bomb. Dar sends Tozawa shoulder first to the steel ring post. Dar with the lateral press, but Swann breaks up the pin attempt. Dar decks Tozawa with a Running Knee. Swann responds with an enzuigiri from the ring apron. Swann delivers the Phoenix Splash to pickup the victory.

Winner: Rich Swann via Pinfall 

Fifth Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Elias w/The MizTourage For The WWE Intercontinental Championship 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Elias applies a side headlock. Reigns reverses the hold. Reigns drops Elias with a shoulder tackle for a one count. Back to the Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Elias backs Reigns into the corner. Elias rams his shoulder to the midsection of Reigns. Reigns responds with multiple haymakers. Elias with a Knee Lift for a one count. Elias sends Reigns shoulder first to the steel ring post. Elias applies a rear chin lock. Reigns gets back to a vertical base. Elias clotheslines Reigns for a two count. Elias goes back to the rear chin lock. Reigns fires up with a series of corner lariats.

Reigns knocks Bo Dallas off the ring apron. Reigns is distracted by Curtis Axel. Elias drops Reigns with a Running Knee Strike for a two count. Coming out of the commercial, Reigns kicks Elias in the jaw. Reigns chucks Elias out of the ring. Reigns connects with the Drive By. Reigns rolls Elias back into the ring. SuperMan Punch to Dallas. Reigns follows that with a Spear to Axel. Elias sends Reigns face first across the steel ring post. Elias lands a Flying Elbow Drop for a two count.

Reigns goes for the Samoan Drop, but Elias lands back on his feet. Elias gets Reigns in a Electric Chair Position. Elias with a Spinning SitOut PowerBomb for a two count. Elias goes for the Drift Away, but Reigns counters with a Inside Cradle for a two count. Elias delivers a forearm smash. Reigns responds with the SuperMan Punch for a two count. Reigns goes for the Spear, but Elias counters with a Big Boot. Reigns ducks a clothesline from Elias. Reigns Spears Elias to pickup the victory. After the match, Samoa Joe attacks Reigns from behind. Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch on the stage.

Winner: Still WWE Intercontinental Champion, Roman Reigns via Pinfall 

Sixth Match: Asuka vs. Dana Brooke 

Asuka quickly floats over into the Askua Lock which forces Brooke to tap out.

Winner: Asuka via Submission 

Seventh Match: Jason Jordan vs. Kane 

Jordan goes for a double leg takedown, but Kane blocks it. Kane shoves Jordan to the canvas. Kane with an elbow strike to Jordan. Jordan responds with a Flying Clothesline. Jordan repeatedly drives Kane back first into the turnbuckles. Jordan connects with the Corner Spear. Jordan goes for the Over Head Belly to Belly Suplex, but Kane blocks it. Kane uppercuts Jordan.

Kane chucks Jordan out of the ring. Jordan’s knee is giving out. Unfortunately, Jordan gets counted out by the referee. After the match, Kane drops Jordan with a Big Boot. Kane clotheslines Jordan on the floor. Kane drives Jordan sternum first into the ringside barricade. Kane ChopBlocks Jordan. Kane continues to isolate the knee of Jordan.

Winner: Kane via CountOut 

Eight Match: Kane vs. Finn Balor 

Balor ducks a clothesline from Kane. Balor repeatedly kicks Kane in the hamstring. Kane goes for the ChokeSlam, but Balor lands back on his feet. Balor with a Basement Dropkick to Kane. Kane responds with a Big Boot. Kane sends Balor back first into the turnbuckles. Kane with a Body Avalanche to Balor. Kane follows that with a Side Walk Slam for a two count. Kane applies a rear chin lock. Balor gets back to a vertical base.

Balor kicks Kane in the jaw. Balor decks Kane with a Leaping Enzuigiri from the ring apron. Balor with a SlingShot Crossbody Block to the outside. Balor follows that with a ShotGun Dropkick that sends Kane crashing back first into the barricade.

Kane starts hitting Balor with a Steel Chair to cause the disqualification. Kane wraps a chair around Balor’s neck. Kane ascends to the second rope. Braun Strowman storms into the ring. Strowman HeadButts Kane. Strowman flattens Kane with the Body Avalanche. Strowman hits Kane in the shoulder with a steel ring steps. Strowman is wearing down Kane with a chair. Strowman connects with the Running PowerSlam. Strowman rams a chair across Kane’s throat. The show ends with Kane stumbling and bumbling through the Knoxville crowd.

Winner: Finn Balor via Disqualification
