"The best way to make a statement was to go to #RAW…and kick 'em right in the mouth!" – #SDLive Commissioner @shanemcmahon #SurvivorSeries pic.twitter.com/aMnGAOHN45

What’s up Norfolk? Survivor Series is right around the corner. Why did SmackDown Live lay siege on Raw? With Raw approaching its 25th anniversary, the long running narrative has always been that Smackdown is the inferior brand. The mindset comes from all the way to the top of the corporate ladder to the lowest common denominator. How can Smackdown change that perception? They put Daniel Bryan in charge as the General Manager and they go live every week. They started having fun and created the Land of Opportunity.
Shane had a team meeting a couple weeks ago and The Blue Team decided to kick in The Red Team in the mouth. He goes on to thank every single member of the WWE Universe who attend SmackDown Live Events, PPV’s, etc. What makes SmackDown special is the fact that they have heart.
Daniel Bryan went to Raw last night to explain their point of view, and he was disrespected. He was locked in an office and set up and beat up by Kane. Where were Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon? They didn’t care. They told Daniel to get out. There will be hell to pay for that. Come Survivor Series, Angle can bring his gold medal, his monster among men and the rest of Team Raw. Shane McMahon will be the captain for Team SmackDown.
