Mae Young Classic Reference Sheet 

First Match: (USA) Mercedes Martinez vs. (China) Xia Li in a First Round Match in the Inaugural WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament 

Martinez taunts Li before the bell rings. Martinez with a waist lock go-behind to Li. Martinez applies a front face lock. Martinez transitions into a side headlock. Following a snap mare takeover, Martinez continues to grapple around Li. Li repeatedly kicks Martinez in the hamstring. Li uppercuts Martinez in the corner.

Li launches Martinez to the other side of the ring. Li with a rolling crucifix for a two count. Li drives her knee into the midsection of Martinez. Li connects with a spinning heel kick to the shoulder. Li drops Martinez with a Running SuperMan Punch. Li kicks Martinez in the back. Martinez responds with a Spine Buster for a two count. Martinez locks in the Modified Dragon Sleeper which forces Li to tap out.

Winner: (USA) Mercedes Martinez via Submission. Martinez will face Princesa Sugehit in the second round of the Mae Young Classic 

Second Match: (USA) Rachel Evers vs. (Dominican Republic) Marti Belle in a First Round Match in the Inaugural WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament 

Belle is trying to create distance after the bell rings. Collar and elbow tie up. Belle backs Evers into the corner. Belle applies a side headlock. Evers reverses the hold. Belle blocks a shoulder tackle from Evers. Belle connects with a Dragon Suplex for a one count. Belle is talking smack to Evers. Belle goes for a Hip Toss, but Evers counters with a waist lock take down. Evers lands a Big Boot for a two count. Evers follows that with a Back Heel Trip.

Evers connects with a Flying Spinning Leg Drop for a two count. Belle calls for a time out. Belle whips Evers neck off the top rope. Belle plants Evers with a SomerSault Neck Breaker for a two count. Belle lands a series of forearm strikes. Belle clotheslines Evers for a two count. Belle bounces Evers head on the top turnbuckle. Evers is pissed off. Evers is mauling Belle in the corner.

Evers connects with a Bicycle Kick. Evers follows that with a Senton Splash. Evers plants Belle with a Spine Buster for a two count. Evers kicks Belle in the chest. Evers connects with a Fisherman’s Falcon Arrow for a two count. Belle sends Ever crashing sternum first into the ropes. Belle drops Evers with a Modified Skull Crushing Finale for a two count. Evers responds with an inside cradle to pick up the victory.

Winner: (USA) Rachel Evers via Pinfall. Evers will take on Abby Laith in the second round of the WWE Mae Young Classic 

Third Match: (Australia) Rhea Ripley vs. (USA) Miranda Salinas in a First Round Match in the Inaugural WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament 

Salinas and Ripley shakes hands before the bell rings. Salinas applies a side headlock. Ripley launches Salinas to the corner. Salinas goes back to the side headlock. Ripley reverses the hold. Ripley dropkicks Salinas. Salinas rolls herself out of the ring. Salinas gets back into the ring at the count of four. Salinas drop toe holds Ripley into the second rope for a one count.

Salinas goes for another cover, but only gets a two count. Ripley kicks Salinas in the gut. Ripley is lighting up Salinas chest in the corner. Salinas kicks Ripley in the back. Salinas connects with a Shining Wizard for a two count. Ripley ducks a clothesline from Salinas. Salinas lands a forearm strike. Ripley responds with a big lariat.

Ripley dropkicks Salinas to the corner. Ripley connects with the Helluva Kick. Ripley follows that with a Running Basement Dropkick for a two count. Ripley goes for a German Suplex, but Salinas lands back on her feet. Salinas chop blocks Ripley. Salinas with an inside cradle for a two count. Ripley lands an elevated leg lariat. Ripley plants Salinas with the Full Nelson Slam to pickup the victory.

Winner: (Australia) Rhea Ripley via Pinfall. Ripley will advance to the second round of the WWE Mae Young Classic. Ripley will await the winner of the Dakota Kai and Kavita Devi Match 

Fourth Match: (South Korea) Mia Yim vs. (USA) Sarah Logan in a First Round Match in the Inaugural WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament 

Yim applies a side headlock. Logan responds with a standing front face lock. Yim transitions into a hammer lock. Logan drives her elbow to the jaw of Yim. Logan drops Yim with a shoulder tackle. Yim ducks a clothesline from Logan. Yim lands a deep arm drag. Yim follows that with a dropkick for a two count. Yim repeatedly kicks Logan in the chest. Logan drops Yim with a Running Knee Strike for a two count. Logan goes into a ground and pound attack. Logan has Yim in a pinning position but only gets a one count. Logan is wrenching the neck of Yim. Logan connects with a low dropkick for a one count. Logan goes for a Flap Jack, but Yim lands back on her feet.

Yim lands a series of Palm Strikes. Yim follows that with a Spinning Heel Kick to the midsection of Logan. Yim drops Logan with an Over Head Kick for a two count. Yim is lighting up Logan’s chest in the corner. Yim gets Logan trapped in the Tarantula. Yim connects with a Missile Dropkick for a two count. Yim locks in the Guillotine Choke in the middle of the ring. Yim and Logan are trading back and forth shots. Logan lands a chop/forearm combination.

Logan follows that with a Hip Toss TakeOver. Logan drops Yim with a Shining Wizard for a two count. Yim responds with a belly to back suplex for a two count. Yim follows that with a German Suplex for a two count. Yim lands a series of buzzsaw kicks to Logan. Logan rolls Yim over for a two count. Logan connects with an Exploder Suplex for a two count. Logan follows that with a Double Knee Strike in the corner. Logan plants Yim with a Fisherman’s Suplex for a two count. Logan goes for Hail Mary, but Yim ducks out of the way. Yim connects with a Spinning Leg Lariat. Yim follows that with Eat Defeat to pickup the victory.

Winner: (South Korea) Mia Yim via Pinfall. Mia Yim will take on Shayna Baszler in the second round of the WWE Mae Young Classic.
