First Match: Yujiro Takahashi & Tama Tonga vs. David Finlay & Juice Robinson 

Tonga and Robinson will start things off. Tonga goes for a double leg takedown, but Robinson ducks out of the way. Tonga throws his vest at Robinson. Robinson fires off a flurry of left jabs. Robinson follows that with a bodyslam. Takahashi kicks Robinson in the back. Robinson knocks Takahashi off the ring apron. Tonga goes for the GunStun, but Robinson blocks it. Robinson gets Tonga in position for Pulp Friction, but Takahashi holds onto Robinson’s ankles. Tonga chop blocks Robinson. Tonga knocks Finlay off the ring apron. Tonga repeatedly kicks the back of Robinson’s knee. Tonga HeadButts Robinson. Tonga tags in Takahashi. Takahashi kicks Robinson in the gut. Takahashi drives his elbow to the knee of Robinson. Takahashi continues to apply more pressure to the knee of Robinson.

Takahashi connects with a Basement Dropkick for a two count. Tonga and Takahashi are cutting the ring in half. Tonga goes for a diving headbutt, but Robinson ducks out of the way. Second Match: Bushi & Sanada vs. Jado & Toru Yano 

Bushi and Sanada attacks Yano and Jado before the bell rings. Sanada gets Jado trapped in the Paradise Lock. Bushi with a Basement Dropkick to Yano. Bushi and Sanada are double teaming Yano. Yano ducks a clothesline from Sanada. Yano rakes the eyes of Sanada. Yano wraps Sanada and Bushi’s t-shirts over their heads. Yano goes on to low blow both Sanada and Bushi. This allows Yano to roll Bushi over to pickup the victory.

Winner: Jado & Toru Yano via Pinfall 

Third Match: Hiromu Takahashi & EVIL vs. Taichi & Minoru Suzuki w/El Desperado 

EVIL and Takahashi attacks Suzuki and Taichi before the bell rings. Takahashi tosses Taichi out of the ring. EVIL rakes the eyes of Suzuki. Takahashi and Taichi starts brawling in the crowd. Suzuki bounces EVIL’s head on the announce table. EVIL starts choking Suzuki with a cable cord. Suzuki responds by stabbing EVIL’s in the forehead with a pen. Suzuki continues to rake the eyes of EVIL. Taichi hits Takahashi in a gut with a stick. Suzuki and EVIL are trading back and forth shots. Suzuki rolls EVIL back into the ring. Suzuki kicks EVIL in the gut. Suzuki lands a clubbing blow to the back of EVIL. EVIL shoves Suzuki to the corner.

EVIL lands a discus clothesline. EVIL follows that with a vertical suplex for a two count. Suzuki fires off a series of shots to the midsection of EVIL. Suzuki drops EVIL with a running buzzsaw kick for a two count. After a forearm exchange, Suzuki lands a Big Boot. EVIL responds with a big lariat. EVIL goes for the STO, but Suzuki blocks it. Suzuki gets EVIL in position for the Sleeper Hold. Suzuki goes for the PileDriver, but EVIL counters with a Back BodyDrop. EVIL with a Thrust Kick to the midsection of Suzuki. EVIL tags in Takahashi.

Takahashi lands a head scissors takeover. Takahashi follows that with a Corner Clothesline. Takahashi connects with a Basement Dropkick for a two count. Taichi responds with two leg lariats. Taichi goes for the cover, but Takahashi kicks out at the count of two. Suzuki tosses EVIL out of the ring. Taichi goes for a SuperKick, but Takahashi ducks out of the way. Taichi shoves the referee into Takahashi. Desperado starts choking Takahashi. Taichi SuperKicks Takahashi. Taichi can’t make the cover as the referee is still knocked out. Takahashi hits Taichi with the Microphone Stand. Takahashi rolls Taichi over to pickup the victory. After the match, Suzuki has to be held back by the Young Lions.

Fourth Match: Chase Owens & Kenny Omega vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Michael Elgin 

Taguchi and Owens will start things off. Collar and elbow tie up. Omega attacks Taguchi from behind. Omega and Owens are double teaming Taguchi in the corner. Taguchi drops Omega and Owens with a Double Basement Dropkick. Taguchi with a snap mare takeover into a series of knee strikes. Taguchi tags in Elgin. Elgin is dancing in the middle of the ring. Elgin and Taguchi are cutting the ring in half. Owens goes for a Sunset Flip, but Taguchi stands still. Taguchi with a right hand to Omega. Taguchi goes for a Leg Drop, but Owens ducks out of the way. Omega knocks Elgin off the ring apron. Owens and Omega drops Taguchi with a Double Axe Handle. They followed that with a Double Elbow Drop. Omega connects with a SpringBoard Double Axe Handle to the back of Taguchi.

Omega bodyslams Taguchi. Omega lands another elbow drop for a two count. Omega bounces Taguchi’s head on the top turnbuckle. Omega tags in Owens. Owens is mauling Taguchi in the corner. Owens drops Taguchi with a Shin Breaker. Owens goes for a Double Stomp, but Taguchi ducks out of the way. Owens uppercuts Taguchi. Taguchi responds with a Hip Attack. Taguchi tags in Elgin. Elgin with a leaping enziguri to the back of Owens head. Elgin connects with a SlingShot Splash for a two count. Elgin ducks a clothesline from Omega. Omega goes for a Head Scissors Takeover, but Elgin blocks it. Elgin lands a Head Scissors Takeover of his own. Elgin connects with the German Suplex. Elgin follows that with a Corner Clothesline.

Elgin plants Owens with the Falcon Arrow for a two count. Elgin places Owens on the top turnbuckle. Omega fires off a series of strikes to the back of Elgin. Elgin drives Omega into the gut of Owens. Elgin goes for a Double PowerSlam, but Omega and Owens counters with Stereo SuperKicks. Taguchi goes for a Double Hip Attack, but Omega and Owens blocks it. Elgin and Taguchi with Stereo Hip Attacks. Elgin and Taguchi repeatedly drives their hips to the face of Owens. Elgin and Taguchi drop toe holds Omega onto the lower region of Owens. Elgin connects with the Buckle Bomb. Elgin follows that with a SitOut PowerBomb to pickup the victory.

Fifth Match: Gedo & Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima 

Tenzan & Kojima attacks Gedo and Okada before the bell rings. Kojima sends Okada crashing into the steel guard rail. Tenzan repeatedly stomps on the chest of Gedo in the corner. Okada drops Kojima with a Leg Lariat. Tenzan connects with a Corner Clothesline. Tenzan follows that with a Vertical Suplex for a two count. Okada attacks Tenzan from behind. Gedo with a snap mare takeover. Okada drops Tenzan with a Basement Dropkick. Gedo goes for the cover, but Tenzan kicks out at two. Gedo tags in Okada. Okada with a PowerSlam to Tenzan. Okada follows that with the SlingShot Senton. Okada applies a rear chin lock. Tenzan plants Okada with a Exploder Suplex. Tenzan tags in Kojima. Kojima drops Okada with a shoulder tackle. Collar and elbow tie up. Ishii backs Hashi into the ropes. Ishii and Hashi are trading back and forth shots. Hashi goes for a shoulder tackle, but Ishii stands still. After another forearm exchange, Ishii drops Hashi with a shoulder tackle. There’s a quick back and forth chopping exchange in the middle of the ring. Ishii drops Hashi with another shoulder tackle. Ishii HeadButts Hashi. Ishii starts choking Hashi with his boot. Ishii is mauling Hashi in the corner. Ishii repeatedly kicks Hashi in the head. Hashi fires off more forearm strikes. Ishii responds with another HeadButt. Hashi with a Thrust Kick to the midsection of Ishii. Hashi connects with the Bunker Buster. Hashi places Ishii on the top rope. Hashi with a Basement Dropkick to the back for a two count. Ishii goes for a vertical suplex, but Hashi gets back on his feet. Hashi repeatedly kicks Ishii in the head. Ishii is pissed off.

After another chopping exchange in the corner, Ishii connects with a corner clothesline. Hashi lands three buzzsaw kicks to the chest of Ishii. Hashi plants Ishii with a Spinning FlatLiner for a two count. Ishii connects with a snap vertical suplex. Ishii places Hashi on the top turnbuckle. Ishii connects with a SuperPlex for a two count. Ishii goes for a PowerBomb, but Hashi gets back on his feet. Ishii blocks a leg lariat from Hashi. Ishii drops Hashi with a German Suplex. Hashi responds with a spinning heel kick. Seventh Match: (4) Bad Luck Fale vs. (4) Zack Sabre Jr. w/El Desperado in a Block A MatchUp in the G1 Climax Tournament 

Sabre gets Fale trapped in the Guillotine Choke immediately after the bell rings. Sabre transitions into the sleeper hold. Sabre goes for the single leg takedown, but Fale holds onto the top rope. Fale starts stomping on Sabre’s chest. Fale whips Sabre back first into the steel guard rail. Fale drops Desperado with a shoulder tackle. Fale drives Sabre back first into the steel ring post. Fale continues to apply more pressure to the back of Sabre. Sabre gets back into the ring at the count of fifteen. Fale lands a clubbing blow to the back of Sabre. Fale starts stomping on Sabre’s back. Fale is choking Sabre in the corner with his boot. Sabre tries to gets Fale legs trapped in between the ropes. Fale stands on Sabre’s ribs. Fale bodyslams Sabre for a two count.

Sabre lands a series of uppercuts. Sabre goes for the Rolling Crucifix, but Fale blocks it. Sabre connects with the Shoulder Breaker. Fale goes for a Seated Senton, but Sabre ducks out of the way. Sabre connects with the PK. Sabre lands a running uppercut strike in the corner. Sabre side steps Fale into the corner. Sabre gets Fale trapped in the Octopus Stretch. Sabre transitions into the Sleeper Hold. Fale backs Sabre into the turnbuckles. Fale connects with the Body Avalanche. Fale follows that with a Splash for a two count. Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fall, but Sabre gets back on his feet. Sabres locks in a Knee Bar, but Fale reaches the bottom rope to create separation. Sabre stomps on the back of Fale’s knee. Fale drops Sabre with a big lariat for a two count. Sabre applies a Standing Triangle Choke. As Fale was about the escape the choke, Sabre connects with the O’Connor Roll to pickup the victory.

Eight Match: (4) Kota Ibushi vs. (2) Togi Makabe in a Block A MatchUp in the G1 Climax Tournament 

Collar and elbow tie up. Makabe backs Ibushi into the ropes. Ibushi lands a knife edge chop. Ibushi and Makabe are trading back and forth shots. Makabe lands a forearm smash that has Ibushi staggering. Ibushi responds with a dropkick. Ibushi follows that with a SlingShot Crossbody Block to the outside. Ibushi sends Makabe sternum first into the steel guard rail. Ibushi lands a Big Boot on the outside. Makabe returns the favor by whipping Ibushi into the ringside guard rail. Ibushi gets back into the ring at the count of nineteenth. Makabe knocks Ibushi out of the ring. Makabe bodyslams Ibushi. Makabe stomps on Ibushi’s chest. After a forearm exchange, Makabe drops Ibushi with a big right hand. Ibsuhi lands a buzzsaw kick across the chest of Makabe. Ibsuhi follows that with a Dropkick. Collar and elbow tie up. Nagata applies a wrist lock. Nagata backs Naito into the ropes. Naito lands a flurry of strikes to the back of Nagata. Naito dodges a leg lariat from Nagata. Naito rolls himself out of the ring. Nagata lands a series of forearm smashes. Naito rakes the eyes of Nagata. Nagata responds with a Big Boot. Naito drops Nagata with a back elbow strike. Naito follows that with a Basement Dropkick for a two count. Naito sends Nagata back first into the steel guard rail. Nagata gets back into the ring at the count fifteen. Nagata follows that with a belly to back suplex for a two count. Nagata goes for another belly to back suplex, but Naito blocks it. Naito drops Nagata with a Over Head Kick. Naito follows that with a German Suplex. Naito and Nagata engages in another slapping exchange in the middle of the ring. Naito drops Nagata with a flying forearm. Nagata gets Naito trapped in the Fujiwara ArmBar. Naito places his boot on the bottom rope to create separation. Nagata connects with the ArmRinger. Naito goes for the Tornado DDT, but Nagata blocks it. Nagata goes for the Exploder Suplex, but Naito counters with Destino for a two count. Collar and elbow tie up. Goto backs Tanahashi into the ropes. Goto slaps Tanahashi in the chest. Back to the collar and elbow tie up. Tanahashi drives Goto to the corner. Tanahashi refuses to listen to the referee. Tanahashi goes for a single leg takedown, but Goto holds onto the top rope. Goto lands a series of forearm smashes. Goto follows that with a Hip Toss. Goto drops Tanahashi with a shoulder tackle. Tanahashi rolls himself out of the ring. Tanahashi rams his shoulders to the midsection of Goto. Tanahashi dumps Goto on the top rope. Tanahashi repeatedly stomps on Goto’s chest. Tanahashi catapults Goto’s throat to the bottom rope. Tanahashi bodyslams Goto. Tanahashi heads to the second rope. Tanahashi lands a big boot. Goto responds with a clothesline that sends Tanahashi crashing to the outside. Goto irish whips Tanahashi back first into the steel guard rail.

Goto is tossing Tanahashi around the ringside area like a rag doll. Goto kicks Tanahashi in the chest. Goto lands another hip toss for a one count. Goto applies a leg scissors hold, but Tanahashi reaches the bottom rope to create separation. Goto connects with a snap mare takeover. Goto kicks Tanahashi in the back. Goto starts working on his joint manipulation game. Tanahashi lands some shots across the gut of Goto. Goto uppercuts the shoulder of Tanahashi. Goto drops Tanahashi with a Spinning Heel Kick. Tanahashi drives his elbow to the back of Goto’s neck. Goto goes for a Buzzsaw Kick, but Tanahashi counters with the High Fly Flow. Tanahashi lands more body shots in the corner. Goto clotheslines the shoulder of Tanahashi. Tanahashi responds with a Corner Clothesline. Tanahashi dropkicks the knee of Goto. Tanahashi goes for a German Suplex, but Goto immediately gets back on his feet. Goto plants Tanahashi with a Belly to Back Suplex. Goto and Tanahashi are trading back and forth shots. Goto goes for the Ushigoroshi, but Tanahashi counters with the SlingBlade for a two count. Tanahashi ascends to the top turnbuckle. Tanahashi goes for the High Fly Flow, but Goto ducks out of the way. Goto drops Tanahashi with a running lariat. Goto with a buzzsaw kick to the chest for a two count. Goto connects with the PK. Goto plants Tanahashi with the Ushigoroshi for a two count. Goto goes for the GTR, but Tanahashi counters with a Swinging  NeckBreaker. Goto goes into a Ground and Pound Attack. Goto goes for the Falcon Arrow, but Tanahashi counters with two more Swinging Neck Breaker. Tanahashi follows that with the SlingBlade for a two count. Tanahashi connects on back to back High Fly Flows to pickup the victory.
