John Cena & Rusev In-Ring Promo:

The WWE Universe can’t rattle him tonight he wants everyone to bring it. Cena is fired up because today is our Independence Day. The United States is a beautiful country built on an ideal. Built by and defended by all walks of life. Today we all celebrate the American Dream. That’s why Cena loves this country. Cena has that same feeling when he’s in the ring. Superstars from all walks of life come out every week to show with their hard work, they have what it takes to compete with the best. Every time Cena walks in the ring, he wants to compete with the best. As of late, there’s a lot of superstars running their mouths about his future. Cena has gone Hollywood and sold out. He’s lost his edge. Cena is nothing more than a part time mascot. He would like to respond to that narrative.

Cena is not a part timer, he’s an all timer.  The reason why he’s a free agent is because if his time in the WWE is limited, he’s going down in a blaze of glory. If there’s a superstar in the back that thinks he’s talking about them, indeed he is. Cena wants line them up Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns, so he can knock them down. Cena has never lost his passion in the last fifteen years. The most dangerous man is the one who has nothing to lose. Today, the franchise is back and the champ is here. It’s our independence day. Rusev comes out to interrupt Cena. Rusev says that Cena doesn’t work hard. While Cena was in Hollywood making his movies, now he decides to come back. Rusev was at home rehabbing his shoulder and he was wondering where’s his comeback commercials. Rusev deserved that. Rusev sent a video message to Shane and Daniel Bryan and they didn’t respond. Rusev isn’t waiting anymore.

Cena won’t take any opportunities from him. Cena’s American Dream is nothing but a lie, just like America is a joke.  Cena tells Rusev that we’re not in Bulgaria, we’re in the USA. Cena wants Rusev to come to the ring so he can punch him in the mouth. Rusev says Cena is trying to boss him around. All Americans think they can boss people around. On Bulgaria’s Independence Day we march and show our strength. In America, they sit at home and stuff their faces with cheeseburgers and hot dogs.  Rusev has been gone a while and that means he’s had time to think. That’s not good for Rusev. Cena doesn’t boss people around, Americans fought for the right to voice what they believe in. If Rusev is proud of his Bulgarian flag, we can put it in a corner. Cena  will put Old Glory in a corner and we can have a Flag Match. Rusev says he’ll fight on his time and his terms. Rusev waves his flag proudly while Cena calls him a coward. Cena says nobody leaves empty handed and he gets the crowd to chant USA.

In order to win tonight, the New Day needs to find a fourth New Day member. Xavier takes over and says the New Day always says dress for the job you want, not the job you already have. New Day looks like a million bucks while the Usos look like divorced dads. Jimmy was nothing until his wife put him on Total Divas. The Usos used to wear face paint and bright colors. They saw the New Day coming on the horizon. The Usos should go back to doing what they did best, carrying bags for Roman Reigns. Jimmy pushes Woods and it all breaks down.
