Nevertheless, Chelsea is thinking that Tiffany Stratton will win, because she’s her twin flame, the Nikki to her Brie Bella before Nikki was a raging bitch. Nikki Bella joins the conversation. Excuse me? Nikki says that Chelsea has clearly hit her head so many times, because she’s constantly repeating herself. Chelsea won’t have to worry about anyone winning the Women’s MITB Match, because Nikki will be taking away her WWE Women’s Championship faster than she can say Hot Mess. Paige joins the conversation. Does Nikki think she could just walk in and get handed a title shot? Paige says that Nikki is not special anymore. And after the stunt Nikki pulled last week, she’s going to have face Paige first. Nikki responds, because losing once wasn’t enough, Paige? Paige doesn’t care about losing, she just wanted to beat the crap out of her and she did. Last week, Cody started his interview with saying that MITB Qualifying Match was this week’s battle, and nothing has changed. He’s not going to be lulled into underestimating a very talented Johnny Gargano, and he has history with Kevin Owens. This is Denver, he was hanging out with Uncle Larry who just looks like Dusty Rhodes, but with longer hair. We have a big main event tonight. Cody is planning to beat KO and Johnny Wrestling tonight and then punching his ticket to becoming Mr. Money In The Bank. Trick Williams joins the conversation. Trick is here to wish Cody good luck in his qualifying match. He hopes Cody wins, but there’s only problem. Trick Williams is in Money In The Bank, and that means Cody’s American Nightmare Story is over. It’s a time for a new dream. Picture this, a big ladder in the middle of the ring, Trick Williams standing right there, oiled up, shined up, looking like a tall glass of Chocolate Milk, climbing that ladder, rocking these Lemon Pepper Steppers, grabbing that briefcase, cashing it in, beating the frosting out of The Gingerbread Man, and becoming the new WWE Champion, let’s talk about it. It sounds like we just did, Cody said. Cody wishes Trick good luck and walks away.

– Alexa Bliss is trying to console Tatum Paxley in the back. She can’t get this worked up about not qualifying for Money In The Bank. Plus, when one door closes, another one opens, right Charlotte? They talked to Nick Aldis during Tatum’s match, and next week Charlotte Flair & Tatum Paxley will be battling Fatal Influence for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Charlotte refuses to hug Tatum. Charlotte says that there’s no more room for losing going forward. Tatum is really excited. Instead of hugging Tatum, Charlotte decided to put her hat on Tatum’s head and starts hugging Alexa.

Sami Zayn, Trick Williams, PENTA, Je’Von Evans, Finn Balor, GUNTHER Segment 

Sami Zayn: I got a question, Denver. I hear the noise, but I gotta know, how many of you here tonight to ride or die with The Last Real Good Guy? I’m gonna be a little honest with you, your reaction is a little disappointing. No WWE Champion in history, go ahead and look it up, no WWE Champion in history has had the journey that I had to get here, none. And after years, and years of some you clamoring for me to become WWE Champion, I finally do it, not once, but twice, and this is the reaction I get? Maybe I’m naive, you know, maybe I thought Justice For Sami would finally have arrived once I won the championship, again, not once, but twice. But I see that I’m still plagued with a certain amount of injustice, this time in the form of inequality. In fact, I am not giving the equal respect WWE Champions are supposed to get. Because I hear how I’m being talked about on this program, I heard Cody Rhodes come out here, stand in this ring, and say, oh, I know for sure that I could beat Sami Zayn. I hear all these vultures that I got hovering above circling me. Every single one of them thinks, all they’ve got to do to become champion is just get the match with me, because once they get the match with me, it’s a forgone conclusion that they will beat me. Well, here’s a reality check for them, here’s a reality check for everybody. This, right here is proof that I am a survivor. I overcome, that’s what I do, I find a way. Don’t believe me, ask CM Punk, ask Kevin Owens, ask Cody Rhodes, ask all of them what happened when this championship was on the line, I find a way. And it’s about time I get the respect that as champion I’m entitled to. That’s all I’m asking for.

Sami Zayn: Let me stop you right there, Je’Von, because I already know what you’re gonna say, okay. And I want to tell you something, because I do like you, and it’s obvious you’ve got a big future. I’ve been where you’ve been.

Je’Von Evans: Hey-Hey-Hey, Woo-Woo-Woo, Hold On, because I already know what you’re about to say. You’re about to say, The Young OG’s time is coming, that’s usually what everybody says, right? But let me ask you a question, what if my time isn’t in the future, and my time is right now? I mean, you’re saying you’ve been in the same shoes as The Young OG, let me ask you another question. Unlike you, what if it doesn’t take me 20 years to finally get the WWE Championship? I don’t know, but let me be real with you, bro. I’m coming for that title. And you got to think, what if I do win Money In The Bank and become the youngest Money In The Bank Winner in WWE History? What’s going to happen, I’m going tell you what’s going to happen. Maybe The Young OG pulls back up to Friday Night SmackDown, and then maybe I come here in the ring with my briefcase, I find you, I cash in on you, and right when that bell rings, maybe I’ll beat the snot out your ass? And then when you finally open your eyes, you’re gonna see me, Je’Von Evans holding that belt over your head while Michael Cole at the table is saying he is The Young OG, he is Mr. Bouncy, he is The Sugar Honey Ice And The Tea, and he is your new WWE Champion, Je’Von Evans.

Sami Zayn: Yeah, listen.

PENTA: Okay, okay, okay. Je’Von, I respect you, as you know, but if you want that contract, you have to beat me, and that’s not gonna happen. And you, Sami, listen to me, when I become Mr. Money In The Bank, I don’t care if it’s you or Roman Reigns, I will cash in, and I will become a World Champion, because I’m PENTA and I have Cero Miedo.

Trick Willams: Now, I couldn’t help but notice from the back, there’s been a lot of talk about respect. So, PENTA, Je’Von, I see what y’all got going on Monday Night Raw, and I got to let y’all know right here in front of everybody, I respect everything y’all been doing, y’all been lighting it up. But you both have the same problem, so I guess I’ll be the one to inform you, tonight is Friday, tonight is SmackDown, and there’s only one man on SmackDown that holds down the brand, and gets the job done, and that’s Trick Williams. Which brings me to my next point, what’s up, Gingerbread? I hear you talking in the back, too. 2X WWE Champion, I came out here to say, congratulations, you did that. But the only thing is, I hear you talking about respect, but you don’t respect nobody neither. It’s been months, months, and you still ain’t combed your head, still got Skechers on your feet, breath still smells like 10 pounds of bounce that ass. And I will never, Trick Willy will never respect a champion who can’t brush his own damn teeth. Now, back to Money In The Bank, because the truth is, with Money In The Bank around the corner, there’s only one man in the ring that looks like Money In The Bank, that talks like Money In The Bank, that smells like Money In The Bank, and that’s because Trick Williams is money, let’s talk about it. And nobody knows that more than Sami Zayn. I beat you two times before, and when I cash in, I beat you for a third time for that championship.

Sami Zayn: Oh, are you done? You’re done? Everybody got it out their system now? Let me explain something to you. Let me explain something to all of you, alright? Nobody can do what I do, you understand that? You guys just think it’s so simple, you win Money In The Bank, you cash in on me, and then you become WWE Champion, it’s that easy to do what I do? I’ve got news for you, there’s three of you here, and there could be only one winner, which means I know for a fact I’m looking at least two losers. And in all probability, let’s be honest, it’s probably three losers. So, here’s my question, what happens when you lose? In fact, what happens when the losses start to pile up? What happens when the years start to pile up and the crowd reactions are not what they used to be, and the adversity starts? You call me, Gingerbread, guess what, Trick, I survived being The Gingerbread Man, and I still came out on top. I survived getting pinned in a mouse trap at WrestleMania, I came back and main evented the next year. I’ve been thrown into dumpsters. I’ve been made a mockery of my entire time here, and I’ve overcome it all, and this is the proof. You think you can do what I do? You think you can overcome what I’ve overcome? Nobody can, nobody can, you understand me? Sniff me again. You can’t handle it, you can’t do what I do. Nobody can. And as far as I’m concerned, until you’ve overcome some obstacles, none of you deserve to stand in the same ring as the WWE Champion.

Finn Balor: I’ve told you before, briefcase or not, I’m coming for that title. So, when you’re done playing games, I’m gonna beat you for it.

Sami Zayn: But guess what, you’re not special, you’re not the only one. I’ve got a million people breathing down my back. You want a chance, you want the opportunity for this championship, go ahead and do something to earn it.

Finn rocks Sami with a forearm smash. GUNTHER applies The Sleeper Hold. Gunther with Two Short-Arm Clotheslines. Gunther throws Finn and Sami into separate ladders to close this segment.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Tiffany Stratton. How is she preparing for this go-around at Money In The Bank? Obviously, Ladder Matches are her kind of thing, so she’s going to climb that ladder, grab that briefcase, and become 2X Ms. Money In The Bank. Tiffany and Chelsea start celebrating with each other. Chelsea says that she’s so proud of Tiffany. Tiffany plans on becoming the Women’s World Champion, that way they can both be champions. Lash Legend joins the conversation. There’s a lot of wishful thinking going on, when the reality is, Lash is the powerhouse that is clearly going to dominate the entire match. Lash says that she’s going to bully her way to that briefcase and come after Chelsea Green.

– Coming out of the commercial break, Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with GUNTHER. Why did he attack Finn Balor and Sami Zayn? It was pretty simple according to Gunther. Danhausen appears with a Security Wand. Gunther throws the wand away. Gunther backs Danhausen into the wall. Gunther calls Danhausen a privilege freak. Gunther says that his English is pretty plain and simple. Maybe Danhausen will understand this time as Gunther throws him into production crates.

Third Match: Blake Monroe vs. Giulia  

Hockey Fight in Denver. Monroe goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Giulia lands back on her feet. Giulia ducks a clothesline from Monroe. Forearm Exchange. Giulia backs Monroe into the ropes. Giulia with a side headlock takeover. Giulia is raining down haymakers. Monroe dives over Giulia. Monroe repeatedly stomps on Giulia’s chest. Monroe puts Giulia on the top turnbuckle. – We see Johnny Gargano talking to Candice LeRae in the back. Johnny says that all is not lost tonight, because his MITB Qualifying Match is up next. Sami Zayn joins the conversation. Nick Aldis informed Sami earlier today that there’s going to be server consequences if he gets involved in tonight’s main event. Sami says that Johnny Wrestling doesn’t need him. They’re cut from the same cloth. Ride or Die, everything they say about Sami, they say the exact same about Johnny Gargano. He’s in the same ring as Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, and he’s just as good as both of them. Sami says that Johnny can do this. Sami tells Johnny to go be Johnny Wrestling. Johnny knocks down a water bottle and walks away.

– Next week on SmackDown from Lafayette, Louisiana, CM Punk will be in the house. Plus, Fatal Influence will put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line against Charlotte Flair & Tatum Paxley.
