Randy Orton Promo

Randy Orton: So, what do you wanna talk about? I want to talk about Cody Rhodes. Less than a week ago, at Sunday Night’s Main Event, in front of Cody’s friends and family, his mother, even his wife, Cody showed the entire world exactly who he is. Cody showed the entire world exactly who I’ve always known him to be. Cody Rhodes is no killer, Cody Rhodes is a good man. No-no, Cody Rhodes is a good man, he’s a good father, he’s a good husband, he’s a good friend. It takes a lot to put down a legend, it takes a lot. Take it from somebody who made a name for himself, years ago, by systematically killing legends. It takes a piece of your soul. And I know one thing, I know one thing is a fact, and that is Cody Rhodes soul is not for sale.

Cody Rhodes is no killer. Cody Rhodes is no killer, but I am. And I don’t care, I don’t give a rat’s ass if anybody perceives me as being a good person or not, that means nothing to me. Let me make one thing perfectly clear, anybody that comes in between me and Number 15, anybody that comes in between me and my 15th World Championship, I will not hesitate to pull the trigger, I will not hesitate to empty that clip. So, tonight, whoever walks out of this building in Mexico City as the WWE Undisputed Champion, whoever has the title after tonight, just know I am coming for you. I am coming for you with the most dangerous letters in sports entertainment, R-K-O.

Chelsea walks up to Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany says that she wasn’t going to miss Chelsea’s first title defense. Tiffany is gonna be at ringside to make sure that Lash Legend doesn’t get involved in the match. Tiffany tells Chelsea to stay focus.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Sami Zayn. Sami can feel the judgment in Cathy’s tone. He knows what a lot of people are thinking, they think that this is all about him, and it’s not. It’s about justice. And Sami was perfectly happy, he wouldn’t have mind if Kevin Owens or Johnny Gargano defeated CM Punk, but they both dropped the ball when he was giving them a championship victory on a silver platter. For there to be justice, it has to be Sami Zayn who takes back the WWE Championship from CM Punk. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae appear. Sami and Johnny have a nice embrace. – Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Nia Jax. Is Chelsea Green’s fractured orbital bone gonna factor into how Nia approaches this championship opportunity? Nia says that Chelsea should’ve never been a champion in the first place. Her title reign is a travesty; her mask is abysmal. Nia has been known for making careers after breaking their faces, however, she’s going to end Chelsea’s career tonight. Lash Legend says that since Chelsea always needs help, Tiffany Stratton better not come with any smart ideas, because she’ll break her ribs.

Trick Williams Championship Celebration

Trick Williams: Reporting to you live, the sexiest and most entertaining superstar alive, Trick Williams has finally arrived. And for all of those at home, watching on USA or maybe on Netflix, in case you can’t understand what the beautiful people here in Mexico City are saying, they’re saying, Quinones. I got you. Now, if I’m not mistaken, Quinones is the best football player that Mexico City has to offer, just like Trick Williams is the best superstar that SmackDown has to offer. And just like Quinones kick that soccer ball into the goals, on Sunday, at Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, I was in the ring with Baron Corbin. And I took his head, I smacked it up and down a few times, and then I kicked his ass all night long. And that’s why they call me, Mr. Whoop That.

That’s why they call me, Tricky Two Times. Now, with Money In The Bank around the corner, I might have to change my name from Tricky Two Times to Tricky Two Titles, if you’re putting up what I’m putting down. But we’re gonna worry about that another day. As for tonight, I want to give a special shoutout, I got to bring out my boy who survived those five minutes. Without him, I wouldn’t have gotten that title shot. So, ladies and gentlemen, I bring to you, Lil Yachty. Woah, woah, woah, my bad, Yachty is such a diva, he wins one match, and I got to make sure that I announce his name right. So, let me do this the right way, can I get a drum roll, please. Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you, The Five-Minute Man, The Man Himself, The Self-Proclaimed Greatest Men Alive, ladies and gentlemen, Lil Yachty.

Baron Corbin drags Lil Yachty out to the stage. Trick Williams storms out of the ring. Corbin retreats to the backstage area. Trick helps Yachty get back on his feet. Corbin attacks Trick from behind with The Trick Strick. Corbin tells Trick that they’re not done to close this segment.

– We see Finn Balor talking to Nick Aldis in his office. He has to be honest here, he does not envy Nick’s job for one second, it’s been chaos over the last couple of weeks. And on top of that, Finn just heard Randy Orton say that he’s going after Number 15. But when it comes to the WWE Championship, and who should be up next, the line starts with Finn. Finn tells Nick to give him the word, because he’s ready. We see Danhausen wiping down one of the TV monitors in Nick’s office. Nick tells Finn to focus on Money In The Bank. Danhausen says, did I hear something Human Monies In The Bank? Nick will explain that to Danhausen another time. It’s a game changer to get your hands on the Money In The Bank Briefcase. GUNTHER joins the conversation. Nick is getting tired of Gunther constantly interrupting his private conversations. Gunther says that Nick continues to put people in positions they don’t belong, especially Finn Balor. Gunther says that Finn peaked 10 years ago. If Finn had any decency for himself, he would’ve hung up his boots a long time ago or maybe it will take somebody to beat it into Finn to finally see the light. Nick apologizes for Gunther’s behavior. Finn says don’t worry about it, he’s a whiny little bitch. Gunther comes back and shoves Finn. Finn clocks Gunther with a straight right hand.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with CM Punk. Why is Punk giving Sami Zayn this title shot tonight? Sometimes you got to reward bad behavior. Sometimes bad behavior needs to be taught a lesson. Sometimes you win the idiot lottery when you become champion. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are part of the problem. He’s also got GUNTHER and Finn Balor coming for him. If you think CM Punk came to Mexico City, where some of the greatest pro wrestling fans in the world reside, to lose his title to a guy who broke his hand jerking it to his 9-Day Fluke Title Win, you’ve got another thing coming. The air is rare. When Punk lifts Sami up in clouds, and drop his ugly face onto his knee, hopefully it wires his mouth shut for good, so we won’t have to hear him make any more excuses when he loses again tonight, then he’ll understand why CM Punk is Undisputed, and why he is the champion. Best In The World. His name is CM Punk and he approves this message. Punk tells Cathy that lucks are for losers.

“Respect to the ruler, I acknowledge The OTC, but Adam Pearce if you’re listening, can you make one change for me? That’s Logan Paul. Paul, can we fire Logan Paul? Paul, Paul, can we fire Logan Paul? Everyone. Paul, Paul, we can fire Logan Paul? Paul, Paul, can we fire Logan Paul?”
