Zilla Fatu: Hello! I was hoping I’d be standing in front of y’all as the new NXT Champion, but Heatwave didn’t go my way. This past Sunday, I thought I had everything figured out. This past Sunday, I took an L. But you see, the red carpet was laid out for me, the stars were aligned, but I just didn’t get the job done. But the crazy thing is, it’s even crazier that I’m even in this situation, to be sharing the WWE ring, fighting for a championship, isn’t that amazing. But if you see, it’s not only a matter of when, but it’s when The Main One the one is holding that title.

Tristan Angels: Order, order, order. Cut the music. Mr. Fatu, must we listen to you prattle on about Heatwave any further. Hey, in case you haven’t realized, all these people have the attention spans of fruit flies, so they’ll be bored with you already. So, please, allow me to simplify things. Zilla, you lost, you proved to everybody here that you are not ready to be The Main Order in NXT. Order. In fact, you’re not The Main One in your own family. It seems to be the further down your Bloodline we go, the less talent we find, so I don’t know why on earth you thought you were gonna win the NXT Championship in your debut? Do you look like a champion? No. Do you carry yourself like a champion? No. How have you lived a life worthy of being a champion? Absolutely not. Unlike me, Tristan Angels, the most handsome man in England, and therefore the entire world.

Zilla Fatu: Hold on, mane, hold on, hold on, I thought I was the only nepo baby around here, they didn’t tell me that Gangrel Jr. was around here. Hey, hey, hey, hey, I like your accent, but I just don’t like your attitude. You see, Heatwave, Heatwave got me hot. You see, my family in Texas seen me in action, but how about my family here in Orlando see me beat that ass?

Tristan Angels: If you would like me to award you with your second lost in NXT, then I graciously oblige.

Fatu ducks a clothesline from Angels. Fatu rocks Angels with a forearm smash. Fatu whips Angels across the ring. Angels retreats to the outside to close this segment.

– We head to Robert Stone’s Office. He’s more than happy to make that Zilla Fatu/Tristan Angles match official. EK Prosper and Saquon Shugars joins the conversation. EK is getting tired of Grayson Waller talking about how weak the NXT Men’s Division is. Saquon says that it’s time to collect. EK is standing on business and wants that first crack at the NXT Championship. Saquon says that EK definitely prospered last week, but he lost, he didn’t jump up to the sky and squish Dion Lennox like a bug, like Saquon did in that Steel Cage Match. Stone says that both guys are coming off great performances, it’s time for them to go to the next level. EK says that the Cage Match was wild. Saquon says that EK’s match with Rey Fenix was like watching WWE 2K. Stone says that both guys are under consideration, he just needs to figure some things out with Grayson Waller. Keanu Carver appears. Carver says that Stone has his hands full, and both guys are making great cases, but they’re not the only ones who deserves a shot at Grayson Waller. Stone tells Carver to relax. It looks like Stone’s got himself into a pickle, what is he going to do about it?

– NARAKU Vignette from NXT Heatwave.

– Coming out of the commercial break, we get an X Video from Myles Borne. Myles says that he rewatched what he did to Tavion Heights at NXT Heatwave at least 100 times over the last 48 hours, and it sucks because he doesn’t regret defending both titles on the same night. He took a big swing, he struck out, and there’s no excuses. Myles saw the way Tavion has been looking at him over the last month, and how he would continue saying that he wouldn’t know what he would do if he were to lose the NXT Tag Team Titles. Myles knows how much those titles meant to Tavion, and if he didn’t turn on him, Tavion would’ve Suplex him into the fifth row. Myles may be deaf, but he’s not blind. He didn’t want to believe that Tavion would turn his back on him, so he just reacted in the moment. He got Tavion before he got him. How many times have we’ve seen this with friends in WWE, and yet everyone always asks, in this business, do you want to make money or do you want to make friends? Myles was naive to believe that he could do both. Myle says that it sucks.

First Match: NARAKU vs. Shiloh Hill 

Naraku side steps the collar and elbow tie up. Naraku laughs at Hill. Hill scores an ankle pick. Hill is raining down haymakers. Hill ducks a clothesline from Naraku. Hill applies a waist lock. Hill with a waist lock takedown. Naraku decks Hill with a back elbow smash. Naraku unloads a series of knife edge chops. Naraku drives Hill face first into the top turnbuckle pad. – We see Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno chatting it up in the locker room with Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux. DVD is in his feelings about Noam Dar taking the pin in their 8-Man Tag Team Match with The Birthright last week. With The Vanity Project capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles at Heatwave, tension begin to rise with both tag teams, because they want to make a statement to Robert Stone. Sean Legacy challenges Dar and Moreno to a match, and they accept.

– We see Robert Stone talking to Zaria in his office. Has Zaria decided on which championship she’s going to keep? Zaria says that we all know the last woman who held both of these titles, she’s gone now, and so is the WWE Women’s Speed Championship. Stone informs Lexis King that the WWE Speed Championship will also be defunct. The Birthright are livid about that decision. Charlie Dempsey says that Stone doesn’t take them seriously. Lexis says that Stone can take the title away from him, but he’ll never be able to take away their birthright. Charlie says that it’s time that they stop giving to this business and start taking. Lexis agrees and knows exactly what they should do. Cruz Montana appears. Cruz is trying his best to keep himself in check after Grayson Waller stole the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave. He’s not here to complain like everyone else, he’s here to make a simple request. Cruz wants a one-on-one match with Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship. Stone knows where Cruz is coming from, but Waller will be addressing everybody later on tonight. Keanu Carver appears. Everybody wants Grayson Waller, and he’s pretty sure that Tony D’Angelo will want his championship rematch. It sucks to be Robert Stone. Cruz says that Carver’s got a point.

Kelani Jordan & Jaida Parker Segment 

Kelani Jordan: One Shot Lani. I told everyone for months exactly what was gonna happen. The most disrespected, underappreciated, overlooked, yet, standout athlete, the future of Women’s Wrestling is the new NXT Women’s Champion. Hold on, wait a second, I don’t need your you deserve it chants, because I earned it. I speak facts, so I’ll say this. Kendal Grey and I had one of the best matches of the year at Heatwave, the best woman’s match of the day if you ask me. But finally, finally, now people aren’t talking about how good Kendal Grey is, they’re talking about how great Kelani Jordan has always been. But don’t switch up now, don’t jump the KJ Bandwagon, I don’t want to hear it, because when Kendal Grey won this title, in two minutes, you guys already put her in the Hall Of Fame. Remember, she was the girl that was going to revolutionize Women’s Wrestling. But I beat her, so where does that put me?

So, I’ll have my acceptance speech ready, you know, just in case. But I’ll give it to Kendal Grey, we had an instant classic, but at Heatwave, she was in over her head, when I slammed her face right into that turnbuckle. And then I became champion, and, well, Kendal, she’s in the hospital dealing with vertigo. But it’s okay, because Wren is gonna take real good care of you Kendal, like a good little sidekick that she is, right, Wren? But Wren, while you’re taking care of Kendal, tell her, don’t stand up too fast, and also tell her this, whenever she’s cleared and wants the rematch, whether that’s in one month, two months, three months, four, it doesn’t matter, because the results is gonna remain the same, she will always come in second place to Kelani Jordan, just like the rest of the Women’s Roster.

But now back to me and how great I am. No one in NXT history, WWE history can say that won the North American Championship, the TNA Knockouts World Championship, the NXT Women’s Championship on their first attempt, absolutely no one. But since everyone wants to give me all this recognition now, well, recognize this, now that I’m champion and I have this title, no one is gonna take it from me, no one is gonna outperform me, no one is gonna overlook me ever again, because no one does it like Lani. I was not finished, Stone.

Jaida Parker: Hell yeah. Hell yeah, Lani, The Standout is feeling herself, and you deserve it. You earned that woman’s title, did she not? But baby, you’re not the only one who called their shot at Heatwave. Hello, because on Sunday, I overcame the biggest thorn in my side, and I tapped her little ass out. And over these past couple of months, I’ve upped my game to what I would say is championship material. So, I’m moving my focus to this NXT Women’s Title. But baby, since you want to speak facts, let’s speak them, because the last time I checked, I’ve already beaten you. So, it’s okay, matter of fact, do we still got time left on this show? Hey, look, I got my gear in the back, we obviously still got time, so what you say, let’s run it, tonight? Y’all want to hear that?

Kelani Jordan: Oh, of course, Ms. Parker interrupting the champion on her first night, why am I not surprised. But that’s a lot of big talk coming from you, because all you do is talk. But hey, congratulations on your win at Heatwave, and you’re right, you have upped your game a few levels, but guess what? You’re still three levels below Kelani Jordan. But since I’m a fighting champion, and you want to fight, you have your gear, I have my gear, I’m sure they want to see The Standout versus Ms. Parker, y’all want to see that? Bet, bet, bet, just not tonight. You don’t tell me when I defend my title, I will see you next week.

Third Match: Thea Hail vs. Nikkia Lyons

– Sarah Schreiber had a backstage interview with Tavion Heights. Tavion is feeling a wave of emotions right now. He lost the NXT Tag Team Titles, he’s pissed, Myles Borne lost the NXT North American Championship, but most of all, he feels betrayed. Tavion is confused after hearing what Myles Borne said on social media earlier today. He couldn’t believe that Myles actually thought he was going to stab his brother, his day one in the back. The Vanity Project interrupts the interview. Brad Baylor says that Tavion should stop lying, because him and Myles were never friends. Jackson Drake tells Swipe Right to settle down, and they should give Tavion some grace. Drake says that the only reason Tavion became a champion in NXT is because of Myles Borne. Tavion says that the only reason Jackson Drake became the North American Champion is because Myles had already wrestled a match. Tavion wants a shot at the NXT North American Championship, because he already had a pinfall victory over Drake. Drake would love nothing more than to start his title reign off with an easy dub over a former Olympian and give Tavion something else to cry about. Drake is gonna talk to Robert Stone to make the match official.

Fifth Match: Zilla Fatu vs. Tristan Angels 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Fatu backs Angels into the turnbuckles. Angels with a straight right hand. Angels with a knife edge chop. Angels uppercuts Fatu. Angels whips Fatu across the ring. Angels drops Fatu with a Diving Elbow Strike. Angels poses for the crowd. Fatu rises back on his feet. Fatu HeadButts Angels. Fatu with a knife edge chop. Fatu with The Stinger Splash. Grayson Waller Segment 

Robert Stone: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome the new NXT Champion, Grayson Waller.

Grayson Waller: What’s wrong, were you guys expecting someone else to win on Sunday? Well, I’m not surprised. I know you were happy, Rob, I saw you fist pumping those little hands of yours backstage when I won, because now you have a Bonafide superstar as the face of your brand. Hey, Vic, what about you? I watch the show, no, no, no, no, you’re gonna talk? You should be thankful that, for every week, you get to come out here and you get to talk about Grayson Waller, you’re welcome. Well, why don’t we stay real for a moment? Because I don’t think people understand what winning this championship means to me. I’ve main evented Raw, I’ve main evented SmackDown, I traveled the world, I wrestled Hall Of Famers everywhere. I even won a title at WrestleMania, but Heatwave on Sunday, winning this championship it means more than all of that. And it would be remiss to not give some thanks to the people that got me here. Well, there’s really only one person I could thank for all of this, and that’s Grayson Waller. Because I’m the one who took the risk to come back down here, conquer my demons and win this championship. I’m the one who, day after day, despite the fact that they gave me nothing, worked my ass off, mine and bone to get into shape, where now I can carry this with pride. I’m the one who, on Sunday, who went to this top rope, put his body on the line to take out Zilla Fatu, goodbye. And I’m the one who forced the world to listen. So, now you can’t ignore Grayson Waller. In fact, my phone has been ringing off the hook from people who didn’t use to take my calls.

Actually, I’ll go here. So, Nick Aldis, Adam Pearce, sorry lads, I’ll get back to you when I’m ready. But this is just the beginning of redemption season. Winning this title doesn’t mean a thing unless I do something about it. So, who’s going to be one to step up and knock me off my pedestal? Is it gonna be Zilla? Because Zilla, your DNA got you some early opportunities, but sometimes talent isn’t passed through the genes. One moment, how about Cruz Montana? Yeah, I actually saw Cruz backstage on Sunday crying, he’s not as tough as you think. Hey, you know what, fair play. Cruz, you’re really good, you’re just TNA good. What about Tony D, hey, you want to come get the championship back, Tony? Well, if you want to find Tony, you need to find two dimes and a shovel to dig up how far I buried that brother. But everyone says that I’m all talk. Well, how about this, I’m standing in the ring, who’s gonna step up and do something about it.

Saquon Shugars: Hold on, bruh. Grayson Waller, I think you found the answer to your question, fool. You came back, man, you came out here talking about you’re trying to rattle some cages. Well, you’re looking at the guy who rattle Dion’s skull off that cage last week.
