Kendal Grey & Lola Vice Segment

Lola Vice: Hola, NXT. Hola, Kendal.

Kendal Grey: Hola, Lola. Now, to be honest with you, it would’ve been nice to run it back with Kelani or Kali, but I’m glad it was you.

Lola Vice: Why, so you could prove it wasn’t a fluke? You would’ve been better off with one of them, mama. I worked way too hard, for too long to step to the side. I told you that you would dominate this NXT Women’s Division one day, but it would be when Lola Vice was done, and I’m not done yet. Vice City continues to grow. I bided my time, I took every step back on the chin and kept moving forward. First, it was Lyra, then Roxanne, then Stephanie, then Jacy, and then finally, finally it was my time.

Kendal Grey: I get that, I get that. You became everything everyone said that you could be, but then you ran into me.

Lola Vice: A few weeks ago, Kendal, you walked in here after you won the title, you were nervous, overwhelmed, shy, it was cute. You told all these people here, that when you looked at me at the contract signing, you were looking at a champion, and you were right. But to be honest, all I saw when I looked at you was someone who needed validation.

Kendal Grey: I don’t need validation. This title is validation. And unlike you, I didn’t need years to prove that I belonged here, and I’m not going to apologize for that.

Lola Vice: You’re right. You got here fast, but let’s see how fast it all comes down, Kendal, because the mirror doesn’t lie. With or without the title around my waist, I look like a champion. I see a woman who’s secured of herself, a woman who knows herself and knows her worth. But what do you see, someone who’s shy, insecure, and vulnerable.

Kendal Grey: You can call me whatever you want, but I’m not weak. Every week, I come out here being honest with myself, I’m honest with all of them. And to be honest with you, I don’t think there’s a woman back there or standing in front of me that can beat me at my best.

Lola Vice: You beat one time, three seconds, for one night, and one night only, you were the better woman. But you beat me in a match, you can’t beat me in a fight.

Wren Sinclair: I don’t know, Kendal.

Kendal Grey: No, I know exactly where she’s going, and I think it’s a perfect idea. What’s a better way to prove myself as a champion, and it’s a perfect way to settle this?

Lola Vice: I would think about that if I were you, because where I plan on taking you, you’re gonna get exposed. So, guys, I’ll give her an extra week to train, and on August 4th, you bring me my title, and you meet me in the underground.

Kendal Grey: Hell Yeah. The Iron Survivor versus The Queen Of The Underground, your match, on your terms.

Lola Vice: You don’t sound nervous, but you should be, because after I knock you out, and get my title back, little miss pick me girl is gonna have to be picked up off the mat.

Kendal Grey: That’s cute, I’ll see you in the underground, and after I’m done whooping your ass, you can go back to shaking it.
