– We see Kendal Grey talking to Wren Sinclair in the locker room. They’re both feeling highly emotional about their perspective title matches. Kendal knows that Wren will retain over Arianna Grace tonight. Kendal is proud that Wren The NQCC, even if it’s just the two of them. Wren tells Kendal to forget about the past title matches or what happened in New York. Wren says that Kendal is going to show the world that she’s not the future, she’s the now.

– Coming out of the commercial break, The Vanity Project are talking to Robert Stone in his office. Jackson Drake says that they don’t want to talk after the way Stone brushed them off this past Tuesday. Stone said that VP made his night even more chaotic than it needed to be. Brad Baylor says that Stone must not like money since he doesn’t have them on the card. Baylor says that VP are the biggest stars in NXT. Stone says that Jackson Drake’s punishment will be facing Mason Rook this Tuesday. Not only that, Swipe Right are putting their WWE NXT Tag Team Titles on the line against El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno from AAA.

– We take a trip to the Great American Bash Tailgate Party with Blake Howard, Dave Lagreca and Kevin Owens. Owens was very impressed with Tony D’Angelo’s Performance. Lagreca puts over how dominant Zaria is and calls her match with Paxley one of the matches of the year. Owens says that he’s excited to see Tristan Angels match as he worked with him on WWE LFG.

Third Match: Shiloh Hill vs. Tristan Angels 

Angels flaunted the sash he stole from Hill before the bell rings. Hill avoids the cheap shot. Hill with a double leg takedown. Hill ran on Angels back. Hill drops Angels with a shoulder tackle. Hill says that Angels represented everything he doesn’t want to be. Hill may not be the prettiest, he may not be polished, but fortunately for him, that ain’t a factor in winning. Hill proved tonight that you can’t sleep on Shiloh Hill.

– We see Nattie chatting with Nikkita Lyons, Karmen Petrovic and Layla Diggs in the back. Nikkita gives Nattie props on another Guinness World Record for most submission victories. Karmen says that Nattie should’ve saw Jaida Parker last week, she was a shell of herself, it was sad to see. Anybody who is anybody in Nattie’s business has tapped out to The Sharpshooter. And if you want to make it to the top of WWE, you have to listen to The Low-Key Legend. Look at Nikkita Lyons, she just became the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion. Karmen is kicking ass in AAA and looking good doing it. Nattie welcomes Layla to The Dungeon and calls her a rockstar. Nattie doesn’t want soft women in her business. Layla says that the NXT Women’s Locker Room can be very harsh, maybe give Jaida some grace. Nattie says that Jaida should grow a pair and get over it. Karmen says that she’ll take care of Jaida on Tuesday. Nattie says that they’ll be in her corner.

– We see EK Prosper talking to Robert Stone in his office. Prosper is not happy about being put through the announce table by Keanu Carver last week. Stone tells EK that he has to wait to get his lick back. EK says that this isn’t the doctor’s office, he’s ready to go. Stone understands EK’s frustration, but he’s gonna have to wait because, with his victory over Keanu Carver, he’s getting a title opportunity this Tuesday on NXT. EK will be fighting El Hijo Del Vikingo for the AAA Latin American Championship.

Fourth Match: Wren Sinclair (c) vs. Arianna Grace w/The Birthright For The WWE Speed Women’s Championship 

Double Clothesline after the bell rings. Grace kicks Sinclair in the face. Grace with a quick rollup for a one count. Grace applies a side headlock. Sinclair whips Grace across the ring. – Emily Agard had a backstage interview with Tatum Paxley. When Tatum won the NXT Women’s North American Championship, that was the first time she did something for herself, not for her friends or take care of her loneliness. It was for her and the entire NXT Universe. Now without it, Tatum feels empty, sad, that she let everyone down. Without the title, she feels scared. Kelani Jordan joins the conversation. Kelani says you’ve got to be kidding me. What does Tatum have to cry about, she’s got multiple title opportunities and choked, get over it. Kelani outlasted five other women to become the first Women’s North American Champion. She’s been in NXT for three years and claims that she’s better than everybody and she still never got a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Kelani says that she’s constantly overlooked for people like Tatum and you don’t see her crying. Meanwhile, Tatum gets chance after chance and fumbles the ball, and yet she always finds a way to make herself a victim. It’s actually pathetic. Paxley gets into a huge brawl with Jordan.

Sixth Match: Myles Borne (c) vs. Tavion Heights For The WWE NXT North American Championship 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Standing Switch Exchange. Chain Grappling Exchange. Borne backs Heights into the ropes. Heights applies a front face lock. Borne blocks the single leg takedown.
