Winner: Still Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes via Pinfall 

– Coming out of the commercial break, Nick Aldis is bickering with GUNTHER and Cody Rhodes in the gorilla position. As Rhodes starts heading back towards the ring, Sami Zayn joins the bickering fest in gorilla with Aldis and GUNTHER. Rhodes starts calling for a rematch with a correct referee this time, he doesn’t want to leave Kansas City crowd like that. Gunther rocks Zayn with a forearm smash. Gunther throws Zayn into the wall. Aldis approves the rematch, Gunther runs into the ring with a referee.

Second Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER For The Undisputed WWE Championship 

Rockers Punches. Rhodes ducks a clothesline from Gunther. Gunther denies The Cody Cutter. Gunther goes for The Sleeper Hold, but Rhodes counters with a Sleeper Hold of his own. Gunther whips Rhodes across the ring. Gunther applies The Sleeper Hold. Rhodes refuses to quit. Sleeper Hold Exchange. Rhodes backs Gunther into the turnbuckles. Sami Zayn clocks Gunther with The Helluva Kick which forces the disqualification. After the match, Zayn snatches the WWE Title away from the referee. Zayn punches the referee. Zayn talks smack to Gunther. Zayn inadvertently clocks Rhodes with the WWE Title. After the match, Zayn throws a massive hit. Zayn receives tons of Sami Sucks Chants.

Winner: GUNTHER via Disqualification, But Still Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes 

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin. Where does Jade’s focus lie after losing to Charlotte Flair in the Queen Of The Ring Tournament? Jade asks Cathy if they have a problem? Jade and her crew do whatever they want in this division. Jade says that she’s going to make a pit stop towards Tiffany Stratton since she doesn’t know how to mind her business. B-Fab doesn’t know why Tiffy would cost Jade the match when she’s not even in the Queen Of The Ring Tournament. Jade starts boasting about injuring Rhea Ripley. Since Night Of Champions needs some star power, Jade is challenging Tiffany Stratton to a WWE Women’s United States Championship Match.

– Coming out of the commercial break, GUNTHER confronts Nick Aldis in the backstage. Gunther says that Aldis is the reason why he’s not the Undisputed WWE Champion. Aldis reminds Gunther that he’s the one who wanted Sami Zayn to be the special guest referee. Gunther says that Aldis is not fit for his job. Gunther wants another title shot at Night Of Champions and tells Aldis to gets it done.

– We see Solo Sikoa talking to Jacob Fatu in the locker room. Is Jacob here to deliver another request from Roman Reigns? If so, Solo says that the answer is still no. Jacob says that he’s not here for none of that, he’s here to make sure that no one gets involved in Jey’s match tonight. And to keep it 100, Solo is making the wrong decision. Jacob says that Solo is running out of time to make the right choice. What does that mean? Jacob tells Solo to take it how he wants to take. It’s not up to Jacob, it’s up to Solo. Solo starts mocking Jacob after he walks away. The MFT’s appear. Tama Tonga wants to know what’s going on. Solo says that Roman is trying to make him come back to the family, but they have nothing to worry about. The plan for tonight is to bring the WWE Tag Team Titles back to the family. Tama says that Solo should stay in the back for this match. Solo’s family business is starting to mess with their family business. If Solo goes out there, there’s no telling who’s going to follow him. Talla says that The Bloodline is not their problem, the tag team titles are.

– We see Sami Zayn talking to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae in the backstage area. Sami says that the hardest thing to do in the world is staying true to yourself. You try to do the right thing, and you can’t make anybody happy. Zayn feels like he’s losing it, because he knows that he’s a good guy, he’s the last real good guy around here. Nick Aldis takes exception to that comment, because that was the fastest count in the history of wrestling. What the hell was Zayn thinking out there? Zayn knocks down another water bottle. Zayn didn’t ask for any of this, Aldis gave him the referee t-shirt in the first place. Zayn says that he was calling the match right down the middle. Gunther Powerbomb Zayn and Aldis is here yelling at him. Aldis reminds Zayn that he put his hands on Gunther. Zayn tells Aldis to watch the footage. Perhaps Nick believed, just like everybody else that Zayn was going to cost Cody Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Championship. Zayn can bet that Aldis is really happy his golden boy is still the champion. Zayn says that Rhodes should be thanking him, because he’s the reason Cody’s still the WWE Champion. Zayn didn’t ask for any of this, but he’s here now, and he’s not going away that easy.

– Jey Uso starts cutting a promo in the back. It’s The Real OG vs. The Young OG, uce. Jey says that he’s gonna blaze right through Je’Von Evans and Oba Femi to face Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. Je’Von Evans joins the conversation. Je’Von knows that Jey is overlooking him right now, but he’s a big fan, he’s been a fan since Jey had paint on his dome. Je’Von calls Jey unc while wishing him luck in the match. Jey tells Je’Von to keep that same energy when he slaps the taste out of his mouth and makes him his son, uce. Je’Von tells Jey that he better watch it, because he can get it right now. Jey YEET’s and walks away.

– We see Cody Rhodes talking to Nick Aldis in his office. Cody apologizes for what happened out there. Aldis says that he’s working a solution to this problem. Cody understands the situation that GUNTHER has put Aldis in, and how Sami Zayn can be a lot, but he’s tired of Aldis catering to them. He’s been the General Manager for two years, there’s only one solution to this. Cody wants to beat them both, let’s have a Triple Threat Match at Night Of Champions. Aldis makes the match official and shakes hands with Cody.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Charlotte Flair. What would it mean to her to win this year’s Queen Of The Ring Tournament? Yes, Charlotte has done it all, she’s a 14X World Champion, but the hunger has never faded. She hasn’t won a World Championship in a few years, but throughout her entire career, Charlotte has proven time and time again why she’s The Queen, with or without the crown. If Charlotte wins this crown, it puts her back at top of the mountain at SummerSlam, that’s what she’s thriving for, her 15th World Championship. Now, Liv Morgan may claim she’s trouble, but Charlotte she’s going to show her tonight why she’s The Queen: Then, Now and Forever. WOOO!

– We got a highlight package on Danhausen appearing on The Stephen A Smith Show on Sirius XM. Jalen Brunson and New York Knicks are giving him credit for lifting the curse. We head to Danhausen’s Laboratory where The Miz and Kit Wilson are still electrocuted and handcuffed. Los Garza appears. They’re upset about the San Antonio Spurs losing in the NBA Finals. They had a deal that Danhausen would curse the New York Knicks, and they want their money back. Angel Garza asks Danhausen if he’s joking. Danhausen says that Los Garza is cursed. Matt Cardona prevents Los Garza from beating up Danhausen. Cardona lost his watch, but you don’t see hm complaining, but his team won. Cardona says that if Los Garza has a problem with Danhausen then they have a problem with him. Danhausen calls Cardona, Zack Ryder. Cardona pokes Miz. Cardona gets electrocuted in the process. Danhausen asks Cardona if he’s okay. Cardona says you know it.

– We see R-Truth talking to Finn Balor in the locker room. Finn’s here to just congratulate Truth on his successful title defense. Truth says that he got ahead of himself last week. Truth tells Finn that they just beat The Wild Samoans tonight. Truth has a hookup and they need to get a title around Finn’s waist. Finn says that he doesn’t need Truth’s help. Truth says that, once you’re in Judgment Day, you’re Judgment Day four life. Truth gives Finn a big hug. Damian Priest appears. Priest says that whatever celebration Truth has planned, don’t count him in, because he doesn’t go to places with people that he can’t trust. Truth says that he’s the truthiest person on earth.

Solo has a message for The Tribal Chief. If Roman continues to mess around with Solo’s family, then maybe he needs to come to Raw and start messing with his.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Tiffany Stratton. Tiffy knows that Jade Cargill is desperate for another title. Tiffy proceeds to accept Jade’s challenge for Night Of Champions. The difference between Tiffy and Jade is that Tiffy doesn’t need lousy sidekicks to do the work for her. Chelsea Green joins the conversation. Chelsea apologizes for being late. Chelsea says that her and Tiffy are equals unlike B-Fab and Michin. What is Chelsea doing? Chelsea says that they’re mapping out their road to stardom. Tiffy didn’t forget that Chelsea called her tacky time for an entire year. Chelsea watched people beat Tiffy up, she kicked her while she’s down and now she wants to be friends? Tiffy says that she doesn’t need Chelsea’s help, she can do this by herself.

– Alexa Bliss NXT Origins Vignette.

– Brie Bella & Paige Vignette. Brie and Paige will be putting their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria this Monday on Raw from London, England. We then got comments from Fatal Influence. Jacy Jayne is livid about what happened last week. Apparently, rules don’t apply to Brie Bella and Paige, who she referred to as so-called legends. Lainey Reid calls Brie and Paige pathetic. Fatal Influence had Brie and Paige exactly where they wanted them last week. Fatal Influence are still coming for the Women’s Tag Team Titles regardless of who wins this Monday on Raw. Jacy says that she’s marching into Nick Aldis office, and she’s demanding to have a match with Paige next week on SmackDown. Jacy hopes that Paige is ready to be embarrassed in front of her friends and family, because that’s what happens when you miss with Fatal Influence.

– Jey Uso runs into Cody Rhodes in the backstage area. Cody says congratulations on the victory. Jey has one more match to go. Jey says that he’s going to blitz QB1 at SummerSlam. Cody tells Jey to not forget about Oba Femi. And besides, Cody is easy to find. Jey turns around and sees Sami Zayn. Jey has been seeing Sami crashing out every week. Sami says that he’s not doing great. Sami is happy to see Jey succeed. Sami believes that Jey will win the King Of The Ring and face the WWE Champion at SummerSlam. However, it won’t be Cody Rhodes that Jey Uso is facing, it will be Sami Zayn. Jey tells Sami that he’s gonna do what he has to do if that’s the case, uce. Sami wants Jey to say hi to the family for him.
