Dear Diary, let’s talk about Charlotte Flair. Charlotte, I remember watching you as part of the historic Women’s Evolution. You are truly one of the greats. And with Alexa Bliss by your side, well, you’re a match made in co-dependent heaven. I mean, you have diluted yourselves into thinking you’re stronger together, when you’ve only turned soft, weak. Friends aren’t something I’ve ever burden myself with. True stars shine brighter alone, and my beauty is blinding. Hold on tight to each other, girls, because The Glamour is coming to SmackDown. Yours truly, Blake Monroe.

Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn Segment
Sami Zayn: I’ve got to say, a little bit of a strange reaction, considering I was in Europe for the last couple of weeks. And I’m not comparing the European crowds to the American crowds, I’m not doing that, but I will say that the ride or dies showed up in full force for me in Europe, alright. But look, you’re here, I’m here, you two choices right now. You can either sit there with a sour look on your face and boo me or you can ride or die with The Last Real Good Guy. I hear you, I hear you, ride or die, baby. Providence, as much as I’d love to come out here and party with the diehards, with the day ones, that’s not why I’m out here. I’m out here, because something has been brewing for months and months, and it needs to come to an end. I want to clear the air, once and for all, with one man. So, come on out here, I know you’re back there, Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes: So, Providence, Rhode Island, what was The Dunk, now The AMP, one of my favorite arenas on earth, and you know why? My good friend, Sami Zayn, what do you wanna talk about?
Sami Zayn: Okay, can you not do that? Can you not do this? For one second, can you not be The American Nightmare? Can you just be Cody for one second? Can you just be my friend, so we can have an earnest and honest conversation here, Cody? Because it seems like there’s been a little bit of pattern developing here for the last few months, a series of months let’s call them misunderstandings, a situation where I find myself helping you, and over and over I find myself paying the price for it. I hear that, I hear that. Okay, alright, nice. Cody, you made me feel like the worst person in the world a couple weeks ago when GUNTHER was choking you out, and I let it happen. I turn my back, I walked away, even though in all honesty, Cody, on that particular night, that’s what you deserved, okay, I’m being honest. But last week, you find yourself in the same position, you’re getting choked out by GUNTHER, and what do I do? I do the right thing, Cody, I do right by you, I help you, and how does that night end for me? I still end up flat on my back and you’re standing tall. Cody, this keeps happening over and over, so at a certain point, I got to ask myself, is this an accident? So, I just want you to tell me truth.
– Loud Sami Sucks Chants Ensue.
Cody Rhodes: Sami, you’re asking me, basically, to explain pro wrestling to you, which you don’t need explained to you. You’re one of the absolute best in the entire world. No, no, no, you’re talking about accidents, these were in the confines of a wrestling match, this is competition here, and then you’re asking me to turn it off. Turn it off? You called me out in a public forum, my man. You’re wearing a brand-new WWE Merch Shirt, which I think I believe more than you believe. Turn it off, that’s what I need to do is turn it off. And besides, besides, you and I should not be standing here. Think about two years ago, the biggest moment of my entire career, something I thought would never happen, WrestleMania XL, a memory that I share with you, you were in the ring that night.
Sami Zayn: No, no, no, hey, Cody, let’s be clear about something. I wasn’t just some guy in the ring that night, I was the first guy in the ring that night when you finished your story and won the WWE Championship. First, I was there before Kevin Owens, I was there before Jey Uso, LA Knight or CM Punk or John Cena or Randy Orton. I was there first, even though let’s be honest for a second, if anybody had any reason to have sour grapes about you winning that night, it would’ve been me, but I didn’t. I was happy for you, even still to this day, I’m happy for you, you know why, because I’m a good guy. I was happy for you, Cody, I really was. But all those guys I listed, how many of them are still your friends now? So, it just gets me thinking, is the problem all of those guys or is the problem you?
Cody Rhodes: Everything is about change, and you know that, especially here. You have to be better than you were the day before.
Sami Zayn: Cody, just level with me here.
Cody Rhodes: I am leveling with you. When this gets involved, you’re talking about Kevin Owens, you’re talking about Randy Orton, you’re talking about John Cena. I was not able to be honest with them in the way that I need to be honest with you.
Sami Zayn: That’s all I’m asking for, Cody. I’m right here, now. Just be honest with me, for once. Don’t talk in platitudes.
Cody Rhodes: You want me to be honest with you? You want me to be honest? I’m standing out here for this, I’m taking all this fire, listening to this BS. Here’s me being honest with you. They are booing you, they are chanting, Sami Sucks, and the reason is because, lately, you do suck. You’re whining, you’re crying. You’re not the Sami Zayn that they fell in love with, not the Sami Zayn that they took a ride with. You’re not my Sami Zayn, you’re something else. If anything, you are desperate. Let’s not pretend that it’s about anything, anything between you and I other than the WWE Championship. And I owe you an apology, I am sorry, I’m sorry that I have this and that means you never well. Sami.
Sami slaps Cody in the face. Sami immediately regrets the decision. Sami is trying to calm down Cody. Sami apologies and says that he was out of line. Sami gives Cody a hug. Cody proceeds to slap Sami in the face. Cody asks Sami if they’re good now. Sami walks out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Sami climbs up the apron. Sami drops the chair and leaves the ringside area out of frustration to close this segment.
– We see Jacob Fatu talking to Solo Sikoa in the locker room. What the hell does Jacob want? Jacob has a message from The OTC. Solo, it’s been way too long, and long enough, Roman Reigns needs him to come home. Solo starts laughing calls that home a doghouse and Jacob is his lapdog. Solo doesn’t understand what happened to Jacob. He used to be a killer, a man that everybody was afraid of, The Samoan Werewolf, a man who was this close to beating Roman Reigns, and now he’s Roman’s bag boy. Jacob knows that Solo is right, because he’s standing here and he’s done nothing but come here and deliver a message from his Tribal Chief. Solo has done nothing, but embarrass, humiliate and made Jacob kneel down like a dog in front of the world and in front of their family, and that’s not how you treat someone that you love. But Roman wants Solo to come back, right. Solo wants Jacob to tell Roman that he can go to hell. Jacob gets it, he understands where Solo is coming from, but he made his decision and he’s going to stay on business. So, if The OTC sends Jacob to bring Solo back home, that’s what he’s going to do. Solo says that, if Roman wants him to come back home, then he can come get him.

Trick Williams, Lil Yachty, Ricky Saints, Carmelo Hayes Segment
Lil Yachty: How are y’all feeling tonight? Ladies and gentlemen, and all of those in attendance, the millions watching at home, even though I can’t see you, I would like to introduce to you, the real champion of SmackDown, Mr. Trick Williams.
Trick Williams: Woah, woah, woah, hold on, hold on there, Yachty. Look, usually we come out it’s a party, and I love that, and I appreciate that, but today is not one of them days, I’ve got something I got to get off my chest.
Lil Yachty: You can’t do that to the people like that. You know they waited all week to come out here and party with Trick Williams, what you mean, you can’t do them like that
Trick Williams: Look, I feel what you’re saying right now, but at the King Of The Ring Tournament last week.
Lil Yachty: What about the King Of The Ring Tournament? Man, you know Dominik Mysterio cheated you last week, and we talked about that.
Trick Williams: But it’s not about that, because the truth is that I lost. Last week, I lost. I don’t like it, it didn’t feel good, but the truth is, in some weird kind of way, it kind of woke up something in me. It kind of brought out a fire into me that I hadn’t felt in a long time. It made me want to step my game up, and bring SmackDown to new levels, new heights. People are always asking around here, I see you tweeting, who’s going to be the man now? Who’s the man carrying the brand? Well, let me break it down for you, Trick Williams is the leader of the new school. And the fact that I lost in The King Of The Ring Tournament last week, it truly pisses me off. It makes me want to step my game up, it makes me want to show the people exactly who I am, what I’m capable of, so let me tell you who I am everybody. My name is Trick Williams, and I am still the United States Champion, I’m still Hollywood Trick, I’m still Mr. Lemon Pepper Stepper, never mind who you thought I was, I’m Trick James, Bitch.
Lil Yachty: And that’s why SmackDown, baby, you’re going to give it to them.
Carmelo Hayes: Alright, alright, alright. Hey, hey, hey. Hey, listen up, Trick, we’re gonna cut all of that off, because here’s the problem.
Ricky Saints: Give me the mic.
Carmelo Hayes: Since you got that championship, all you do is come out here, catchphrase after catchphrase, I feel like I’m listening to a Dr. Seus Book.
Ricky Saints: Yeah, yeah, what are we talking about here? What the hell is that?
Carmelo Hayes: Listen, here’s what I need you to do, Trick, I need you to make up your mind. You’re standing here aura farming with that championship, pick somebody. Is it Ricky, is it me, what we doing, dog?
Ricky Saints: What are we talking about? First off, I’m the guy that beat you, so if there’s any discussion, it’s Ricky Saints is the new number one contender for the US Championship, let’s talk about it.
Carmelo Hayes: Okay, Ricky, you know what’s clear and cut here? We need to cut you out the picture, because until you got involved, me and Trick had our own thing, and we was handling business. Look, Trick, you got two guys killing themselves for an opportunity at a title about a guy who don’t even want to defend it, so what’s up with that?
Ricky Saints: What are you forgetting? I beat you last week, there’s nothing to discuss no more.
Carmelo Hayes: Oh, you beat me, well, you’re looking at the guy that also beat you, so what you want to do about it?
Ricky Saints: Oh, how about we go ahead and split the difference right here in Providence? You want that?
Trick Williams: I wish both of you shut the hell up, because the truth is, it doesn’t matter. Y’all keep bickering and battering about who deserves an opportunity at my title. It doesn’t matter, because I’m gonna stomp the one anyway. But I’ll tell you what, you seize me twins, y’all figure it out, y’all battle it out, whoever wins can finally come see me, the champion.
