Sol Ruca Championship Celebration
Cathy Kelley: Turino, please put your hands together and join me in welcoming the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Sol Ruca. Sol, all of Turino chanting, you deserve it, big win, congratulations. Did you ever think that, less than a month, after officially joining Monday Night Raw that you would be standing here in the middle of the ring as a champion?
Sol Ruca: Cathy, this has been a dream come true. I believed that I could be a champion, but most importantly, all of you believed in me, too. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. And honestly, props to Becky Lynch, I know that she was against this match in the first place, I know she thought that I wasn’t ready, but she still came out here, and she gave me the chance to test myself against the very best. And I proved her wrong. And it’s not just me saying it, everyone is saying it. But as tough as it was to beat Becky Lynch, my work here is just getting started. This title deserves a fighting champion. You all deserve a fighting champion, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna be. But if you think that I’m just some rookie, or if you underestimate me, like Becky did, well, at this point I think we all know how that’s gonna end.
