– We see Kendal Grey talking to Wren Sinclair who’s holding a pair of crutches. Kendal doesn’t know why Kelani Jordan attacked Wren Sinclair, but she’s going to get her payback tonight. All Wren wants to know is help Kendal get one step closer to the NXT Women’s Championship. Kendal says that Wren will always be by her side. Wren says that she doesn’t want to be a distraction, nor does she want them to end up like Sol Ruca and Zaria. Kendal says that Wren is not a distraction, she’s the main reason she’s here. They’ll never be like Sol Ruca and Zaria. Lola Vice joins the conversation. Lola says that a rematch against Kendal doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Kendal tells Lola that she can show her that wrestling is better than MMA, because things in New York were kind of left open ended. Lola says that Kendal tapped out in New York, and at Stand & Deliver, she lost, again. Lola says that Kendal is making excuses. Wren tells Kendal that she needs to focus on Kelani Jordan tonight. Kendal tells Lola that after she beats the woman that made her tap out, she’ll see Lola with the NXT Women’s Championship on the line. Lola tells Kendal to bring it and she’ll be watching.

Dux says that he needs one more week to get medically cleared for in-ring competition. Legacy brings up an old match they had in Belgium. Dux tells Legacy, Prosper and Wilder to kick Birthright’s ass.
– Coming out of the commercial break, we see Nattie preparing to have a pre-recorded interview for WWE LFG. Nattie talks about how great the experience is seeing younger PC talents start from scratch and being one of the coaches. Jaida Parker interrupts the conversation. Parker says that they need to talk. Parker didn’t appreciate Nattie calling her soft last week. Nattie says that Parker should just join LFG. Parker says that Nattie has a big mouth. Parker had to be removed from the set.

– Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain are still buzzing from their victory earlier tonight. Paxley says that she wants to go back to being the kind of champion she was trying to be before the whole Izzi Dame and The Culling situation and she wants to give title shots to those who deserves it. Next week on NXT, Paxley will be putting her NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line against Lizzy Rain. Shiloh Hill joins the conversation. Shiloh says that he’s been doing some studying on Tristan Angels. Lizzy mentions that she has a long history with Angels and can’t seem to escape. Shiloh says that Angels family own the most sheep than any farm in the UK. Lizzy says that nobody in their right mind would call Tristian Angels “Mr. England”. Shiloh jokingly says that he would be Mr. NXT if they had a pageant. Tristian Angels joins the conversation. Angels says that Shiloh is missing a tooth. Shiloh says that his smile lights up a room. To think that Shiloh could up class Angels is completely absurd. Back to reality, Angels is making his in-ring debut next week, he’s going to prove to Shiloh and the entire WWE Universe that Tristian Angels is in a class of his own.

Mason Rook, Robert Stone, Tony D’Angelo Segment
Robert Stone: So, the landscape of NXT has changed, but no matter how chaotic it gets here, I am proud to say that talent from all over the world still want to make NXT their home. And right now, I’m gonna bring someone out, and his new home is going to be NXT. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s make this official and please welcome, Mason Rook.
Mason Rook: Who is Mason Rook? I’ve traveled all across Europe, I’ve been to Japan, I’ve gone all around the world. And everywhere I go, I turn heads. Even the greatest of all-time, John Cena, sees me. I mean, it’s pretty hard to not notice a flying human tank. And I know what you’re thinking, you’re gonna be thinking, well, Mason, are you satisfied? Am I satisfied with everyone back home talking about me in the pubs? Am I satisfied with going viral multiple times, being the name in everyone’s mouth? Mason Rook in every sentence. Let me tell you, no, I’m not. I want more. And that’s why I arrived in NXT, because I am not just the best super heavyweight, I’m the best any weight. And it doesn’t matter who steps in this ring, they’re gonna find out, that if you try and stop a tank, you get crushed.

Robert Stone: Hey, whoa, hold on a second. Tony, listen to me, don’t even think about it, don’t think about coming into this ring.
Tony D’Angelo: Relax, relax, relax, I’m just here to talk, alright. Now Mason, look, you wanted to get the attention of the WWE Universe, you wanted to get my attention. Well, you got it. And what better way to do it than starting at the top? That’s a page right out of my book, man. Now, look, attacking me once, okay, fine, you’re seizing a moment. Twice, no. And if you think that you’re gonna make a name for yourself at my expense, I don’t care if you’re big.
Angelo decks Kam Hendrix with a back elbow smash as he was going for another sneak attack on the champion. Angelo and Hendrix starts brawling around the ringside area. Rook wipes out everybody with a MoonSault to the outside. Rook signs his contract to close this segment.
– We see Noam Dar talking to Romeo Moreno in the locker room. Moreno continues to mark out about Dar returning to the ring, mentions his entire resume. Dar says that this is his first match in a year, he doesn’t know if he’s the same guy anymore. Moreno still believes in Dar.
– WWE LJN Wave 2 Action Figures are now available exclusively at Target.
– Emily Agard are interviewing OTM at their apartment. She’s trying to learn more about OTM. Lucien Price says that Bronco Nima is one of the toughest and most loyal people he knows. He had to be a man at a young age after losing his mother, and now he takes care of his little brother. Bronco says that his mother taught him that manhood is not about age, it’s about responsibility. He made to make sure that his little brother would never worry about having no one on his side. Bronco’s brother JJ says that OTM is the embodiment of overcoming adversity, that builds character the older they get. Bronco mentions that despite Lucien’s size, athleticism and the violence he brings to the ring, people overlook how smart he is. Bronco says that Lucien is an artist, a very good one. OTM are focused on capturing the NXT Tag Team Titles and to make their loved ones proud.
Fourth Match: Jackson Drake w/The Vanity Project vs. Noam Dar
Dar kicks the left hamstring of Drake. Dar tells Drake to bring it. Dar kicks out the legs of Drake for a one count. Dar applies a wrist lock. Drake backs Dar into the ropes. The referee calls for a clean break. Dar ducks a clothesline from Drake. Dar is playing mind games with Drake. Dar drop steps into a side headlock. Drake whips Dar across the ring. – Coming out of the commercial break, Myles Borne runs into Tavion Heights in the backstage area. Myles mentions that he’s teaming up with Tony D’Angelo against Mason Rook and Kam Hendrix. Tavion is taken aback by that news. Myles should’ve known that Tavion was beefing with Tony D. It was okay to team Tavion when they’re The NQCC, but now that Myles is the NXT North American Champion, he thinks he’s better than Tavion. Myles says that he doesn’t call the shots. Tavion wishes Myles good luck, and he really hopes that Tony is there for him the same way he was.
DarkState & The Vanity Project Segment
Dion Lennox: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Hey, y’all way too comfortable walking around with them titles like we didn’t allow it. Your championship run is over, DarkState is here to collect, and we’re here to show everybody who’s in control.
Saquon Shugars: Hey, I wish you did, that’s the name of the game, control, baby. But unfortunately for the in-betweeners over here, we ain’t got no control over Big Cut and Osiris Griffin, bruh. You saw what they did to Hank & Tank last week, fool. We’re about to see a crime on live television, bruh. And if you think y’all ain’t going the same way, then you’re tripping big shoes, bruh.
Ricky Smokes: Wait, wait, wait, wait. What? So, you goofballs think that beating the guys who call themselves, The Belly Boys, warrants you for a tag title match? Brad, talk to these guys, I can’t even look at them.
Brad Baylor: Smokes, Smokes, Smokes, literally, no shot, okay. Hey, I don’t know if you boys remember clearly or not, but we’re the ones that took these NXT Tag Team Titles right from you. We’re the ones, okay, we’re the ones who took these tag team titles from you, alright. We’re also the reason why Dion and Saquon have been at each other’s throats the past few weeks. Oh, but you’re pressing us, you want to press us, the boys, the kids, really? You ain’t got anything better to do? Maybe you don’t understand, but The Vanity Project, we don’t give away handouts.
Cutler James: Hey, we’re not looking for a handout. We never got our rematch for those tag titles, and now we’re cashing in. And before you go whining to Big Mama Lockwood, just know that Mr. Stone already approved this match. So, next week, DarkState is bringing those titles back home with us. But it’s not going to be me and Osiris, because as you guys know, we need to get back on top, but this right here, this isn’t working, we got to be united. Now, last week, me and Osiris, we took care of Hank & Tank, but this, this is on you.
Osiris Griffin: Yes, y’all got Vanity Project, bruh. We can’t control this brand how we want to if we don’t stand united. I mean, when we’re all on the same page, ain’t nobody touching is, man, y’all know this. Hey, so y’all need to figure it out and get these titles back or DarkState has got to change.
Vanity Project slides into the ring for a sneak attack. Lennox and Shugars clears the ring. Lennox punches Jackson Drake off the ring apron, but Drake falls into Lockwood’s arms to close this segment.
– We see Robert Stone talking to NARAKU in the back. Stone gives Naraku props for his first victory in NXT. When he gets time, Stone would like to sit down and have a conversation about Naraku’s future. Naraku gives Stone a very firm handshake and says thank you. Stone finds Mason Rook and Kam Hendrix in his office. Hendrix says that they’re not a tag match. Stone says that he was not happy about how things went down earlier, that’s not how they do business. Rooks tells Hendrix to not speak for him. Rooks tells Stone that sometimes you need to make noise to stand out. Stone says that they can make noise next week in a tag team match against Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne. Tate Wilder joins the conversation. Wilder is appreciative for the opportunity. He’s calling tonight a learning lesson. Keanu Carver storms into the office. Carver tells Stone that he’s done talking to people. Stone actually liked the interview Carver did with Emily Adgar last week. Stone tells Wilder that he can have a match with Keanu Carver next week. Carver says that Wilder must have a death wish.
– Blake Howard had a backstage interview with Kali Armstrong. Kali says that she’s trying to keep the momentum going after her big win over Jaida Parker last week. She needs to scope out the scene in NXT before she makes her next move. Kali says that Lola Vice and Izzi Dame are not the only one’s keeping a close eye on tonight’s main event. Kali says that she’s going to run through everybody in this NXT Locker Room like she did on WWE EVOLVE. Kendal Grey joins the conversation. Kendal says that Kali didn’t run through her. Kendal makes her way to the ring with Wren Sinclair.
Fifth Match: Kendal Grey w/Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan
