John Cena Segment
– John Cena comes down to the ring to make his major announcement. Cena gives his gratitude for the tremendous crowd in Tampa. He’s been pondering what would be the next step in his WWE Career. It’s not one more match. He was truly happy with his final match, because what was most important to him was the fact that his last show became a night of opportunity. Cena mentions Sol Ruca, Je’Von Evans and Oba Femi who had stellar performances on that event. Cena does the Oba Femi Strut and puts him over kicking Brock Lesnar’s ass at WrestleMania. Cena was so inspired by that Saturday Night’s Main Event back in December where NXT superstars fought the best of Raw and SmackDown, so we’re going to run it back. Cena is here to announce The John Cena Classic. An entire event where the best of today superstars goes to battle with the best from NXT.
There’s going to be a new event and there will be a new championship coming to WWE. Cena is going to strive for a certain level of excellence and make this title special. Cena says that the biggest superstar in the WWE is the WWE Universe. On top of a new event and a new championship, for the first time ever, your voice will be heard louder than ever before. For the first time in history, a superstar may not win a match, but with their grit, hustle and connection to the audience, they still could become the John Cena Classic Champion. It’s a single event that embodies everything he’s stood for. Cena promises to make this event an annual tradition. Cena gives thanks to the NXT Performers that performed on his last show that inspired him to make this event. Cena took a moment to thank WWE for approving this idea. Cena gives thanks to Tampa for the energy and the noise. Cena tells us that we’ll see him at The John Cena Classic.
