Cody Rhodes & Ricky Saints Segment
Cody Rhodes: So, Tulsa, Oklahoma, what do you wanna talk about? So, it’s nice when we can come out here and provide you with new information, and I have a little new information for you. Earlier tonight, I got here, I met with WWE’s esteemed medical staff, I met with my friend, our general, Nick Aldis to find out if I would be medically cleared for action. Well, that’s exactly what happened, because I am cleared for action. Which begets the question, what’s next for Cody Rhodes on SmackDown?
– Ricky Saints comes down to the ring.
Ricky Saints: You boo what you don’t understand, I am “Absolute” Ricky Saints. And I am the hottest, newest, flyiest, SmackDown Free Agent standing right in front of you. And if you don’t know about me, you better ask about me. I am young, I’m successful, I’m rich, I’m debonair, I’m suave, I’m basically everything your baby mama wishes you were, and wow, here we are. You and I, Cody, we’re no strangers to each other, so I’m sure it’s no surprise that I am out here. But I know you feel the change in the air, and that change is a revolution. And when we talk about that, we talk about who’s leading the revolution? There is one man, it is me. Since day one, it has always been me, I am the revolution, I am the man, and I want you to know something, Welcome to Friday Night Saints.
Cody Rhodes: Okay, Friday Night Saints, it is. Well, you know I’m glad to have you, you know how I feel about you, but bold move here, so I’ll go ahead and ask you. Ricky, what’s the difference between now and the last time you stepped up to me?
Ricky Saints: You. Yeah, you. I’m standing in front of a man, you got staples probably in the back of your head, your eye is still busted up, you’re barely hanging on. Them three title reigns have aged you 30 years, dog. And you know what? I may be wrong about all of that, but one thing that I am right about is the fact that I’m a former NXT Champion, the fact that I’m a former North American Champion, and there ain’t nobody that can do that except for me, because I am absolute. I have stood in the background and congratulated you, milestone after milestone, when it was a detriment to my career. And I would only hope, my good friend, that you would keep that same energy for me, because I’m here to relieve you of your duties, champ.
Cody Rhodes: Okay, okay. This is an easy thread to pull. I came out here, in front of all of our friends in Tulsa, I told all our friends here in Tulsa that I was cleared for action. You look like you’re game for some action, so if that is what you want to do tonight, Ricky Saints versus Cody Rhodes, is that what you want to do? Let’s do it then.
Cody and Ricky shake hands.
Ricky Saints: One more thing, actually. I didn’t come out here to make a statement; I came out here to change who the show is about.
Cody Rhodes: Fair, Ricky, let me remind you what I reminded everybody last week. On SmackDown, in WWE, I’m easy to find, hard to beat.

His blood is my blood. The ones that he loves are the ones I’m supposed to protect, but they’re not standing here right now, because of you, Jacob. So, Jacob, when your ass gets to this building, you are a dead man walking.
– The Usos comes down to the ring.

But you got to understand, you ain’t the only one that got an issue with him, “The OTC” Roman Reigns got a big problem with him, too. And the mistake Jacob made is not taking out your little family tree, the mistake he made was on Monday when he put his hands on The Tribal Chief.
Jey Uso: Not only did he put his hands on The Tribal Chief, uce, he used The Tongan Death Grip, that’s a sacred move. That move is handed down, taught to generation after generation. Your dad used that move, Talla. The move is last resort. Jacob is on last resort, that means The OTC is, too. So, whatever plans you and your little family got tonight, get a hold of Jacob, uce, that’s got to hold up until The Tribal Chief is done with him. YEET!
Solo Sikoa: Guys, there’s plenty of Jacob’s to go around for all of us.

Sami is tired of these misunderstandings, they need to stick together, they’ve known each other for a very long time. Danhausen: Why are you so dirty?
The Miz: I don’t want to talk about it. I’ve come to a realization, I am cursed. Yes, I am, and I’m gonna do the one thing I thought I would never do. Danhausen, I will be your mentor.
Danhausen: Mizhausen?
The Miz: Mizhausen.
– Before Danhausen and Miz could shake hands, Kit Wilson makes his way down to the ring.
Kit Wilson: No, no, no. Miz, have you lost your mind? You were mentoring me, remember. It was master, inspire, zone in with me, and now you enable this toxic little goblin.
The Miz: Kit, enough.
Kit Wilson: Miz, wake up.
The Miz: No, you wake up. Do you know why everyone is talking about Danhausen? Because he mastered, The Curse. He’s inspired a connection with each and every person here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and everybody watching all over the world. He’s been able to zone in on what it truly takes to be a WWE Superstar, can you say the same?
Danhausen: Nope.

Sami Zayn & Trick Williams Segment
Sami Zayn: I mean, guys, are we having fun or what? Listen, I’m gonna say this, and I’m being honest and I don’t say this in every city, okay. I love coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I really do, I had a beautiful morning, I actually went to the Bob Dylan Center upon reconciliation way. I’m a huge Bob Dylan Fan. You know, Bob Dylan was a folk legend in the 60’s until one faithful when he decided to pick up an electric guitar. You know what happened when Bob Dylan went electric? They turned on him. They booed him. And I just thought to myself, man, can I relate. Because I’ll be honest guys, I don’t know what I did that was so wrong to deserve some of the reactions I’ve been getting lately. No one seems to know. No, no, it’s okay, I’ll tell you the truth, it doesn’t bother me, I can deal with it, and do you want to know why? Because I know that Sami Zayn’s ride or die fan club is in the house tonight.
The fans that have had my back since day one, I know you’re here, and I know there’s millions more watching on television that have had my back since day one and will continue to have my back. So, that’s fine, I can deal with some bad reactions, I can. What I don’t deal well with is disrespect. And the fact that someone like Trick Williams. Sure, yes, absolutely, whoop that trick. Trick’s great, Trick’s fun, The Gingerbread Man is fun, it’s all fun. You know what’s actually funny though? It’s that The Gingerbread Man actually represents Trick Williams a lot more than it does me. Because you know what this is? This is a shell of a man, wearing a costume, and that’s exactly what Trick Williams is. The truth is, it’s easy to do what Trick Williams does. Yeah, get some great entrance music, get a great entrance, hit some dance moves, have a bunch of catchphrases.
I can do that in my sleep, okay? You want to know what’s hard? Doing what I do. Coming out here, night in-night out, year in-year out, giving every bit of blood, of heart, of soul, of passion, of grit. Leaving it all in the ring, night in-night out, year in-year out, that’s hard. So, when I look at this, when I look at ole Gingerbread over here, yeah, it’s funny, but that’s not what I see. I see Trick Williams not taking me seriously. I see Trick Williams not taking all of this, all of you, everything here, I see him not taking that seriously. I see this as disrespect. You know what I want to do every time I see this Gingerbread? Wow, okay, what am I doing? I’m sorry, I’m actually cracking up here, I’m losing my marbles here, I’m seriously about to hit a Gingerbread Man in the middle of the ring in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’m sorry. Hey, Gingerbread Man, I’m sorry, alright, put it there.

The fact of the matter is that they prepared for The Bellas, Brie and Nikki Bella, not Paige. That’s fine, because they have something for them tonight, which means it will be a totally different story. Jax says that the math is mathing tonight, because it’s not a Fatal Four Way Match. Once The Irresistible Forces put an end to this nostalgia act, they’ll get their Women’s Tag Team Titles back, and Brie and Paige will be sitting on the couch with Nikki Bella.
– Coming out of the commercial break, Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Trick Williams. Trick says that Sami Zayn crossed the line tonight. Last week, Sami took out Lil Yachty, he doesn’t know if Yachty is going to make it back. This week, Sami took out The Gingerbread Man, nobody touches The Gingerbread Man. Trick says that Sami is messing with his money, and he doesn’t play around with his money. Sami better pray that The Gingerbread Man is okay, because if he’s not, he’s going to have a bigger problem. Trick is giving Sami his championship rematch at Backlash. Trick always gets what he wants, you better ask The Legend yourself, when Trick Williams wants it, he gets that ass, let’s talk about it. The Doctor informs Trick that The Gingerbread Man didn’t make it. Trick says that he’s going to whoop Sami Zayn at Backlash.
