– We see Oba Femi and Ricky Saints arguing in AVA’s office. Ricky blames Oba for what happened during last week’s main event. Oba calls Ricky a hot-head. Ricky says that we don’t have to wait for No Mercy, they can fight right now. AVA is having none of that. AVA knows that Ricky and Oba have a lot that they need to get off their chest, so next week at NXT Homecoming, they can air all of their grievances on The Grayson Waller Effect. Oba is not ready to hear Grayson’s big mouth. Speaking of big mouths, Trick Williams walks into the office. Trick asks AVA if they’re still good for tonight’s plan with DIY. AVA says yes. Ricky wants to know what the hell is going on. Trick says that it’s championship business, something Ricky wouldn’t know about. Trick tells Oba that they have unfinished business.
Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, DIY Segment
Tommaso Ciampa: Man, I’m gonna tell you something. Every time we step foot in an NXT ring, it feels like home, it feels special. But tonight, tonight is extra special, because tonight, on this exact date, it marks 10 years since the very first time that I tag with Johnny Gargano as DIY in NXT. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Johnny Gargano: You know, a lot of people forget where they came from. But I stood in this ring before, and said that I was NXT for life, and I meant it. We may be on SmackDown now, but NXT, this place, these people will always be our home.
Tommaso Ciampa: I’m gonna tell you guys something. My very last match in NXT, I always hoped, and kind of deep down I knew, it wasn’t actually going to be my last match in NXT. And that right there brings us to tonight, because last week, Trick Williams.
Johnny Gargano: The greatest superstar in NXT history, there he is.
Trick Williams: Go ahead and cut that music. That’s right, the greatest NXT Superstar of all-time has finally arrived. Now, I ain’t gonna lie, last week, the two of you got the best of me, two on one, that is true. But there’s one thing, one thing y’all forget to mention, one thing y’all forget to say, all that went down because the two of you are jealous. Y’all are jealous, because your NXT crew can’t hang with my NXT crew.
Johnny Gargano: Well, Trick, I got an idea, how about you get in this ring, like last week, and we’ll remind you what we did for NXT?
Trick Williams: Oh, I will, I will, but this time I’m not alone.
– Carmelo Hayes makes his way down to the ring. Hug it out chants break out.
Carmelo Hayes: Trick, since I left, you’ve said a lot of things that are true, but you’ve also said a lot of things that aren’t true. Just last week, I heard you talking about, this is my house. You say, Trick Willy live here. It’s funny you say that, because you say that in the ring with two guys who built this house. You say that in the same ring as somebody who put renovations on this house. And Trick, when I look at like you, and I see that you’re a World Champion now, congrats, but the only thing you’re doing is squatting in our house. And I came here to remind you that rent is due. I think they mean, you.
Trick Williams: Hey, look, Melo, I get it, I get it, let’s talk about it.
Carmelo Hayes: No, I’m not finished yet, I’ve been gone for a year and a half, so I’m gonna say what I got to say, you’re not gonna try and run over me. So, Trick, next time you’re standing in the ring with greats from NXT, like Tommaso Ciampa, like Johnny Gargano, like Carmelo Hayes, you take your high heels off at the door, and you put them right there. You sit down, you don’t touch nothing, and you be quiet while OG’s are talking.
Johnny Gargano: Tommaso, Tommaso, you see this? It’s like Stand & Deliver: Philadelphia all over again?
Trick Williams: Hold on, we ain’t going out like that. Melo, I get it, dog, I get why you’re upset. We have history, we’ve been through a lot, especially since how everything’s been going since you left. But the truth is, I’ve been talking trash about you, man, you’re right, I’ve been saying some things about you. Even last week, that wasn’t right. But don’t get it twisted, I squat where I want to squat, I wear my heels when I want to wear my heels, this is still my house.
Tommaso Ciampa: Hold on, I don’t mean to get involve in this, but is it little brother/big brother or is it big brother/little brother? I’m just asking.
Carmelo Hayes: Hold the hell up. You shut your mouth, alright, this is between me and my bro. And now that I think about it, you two, y’all the last two to be talking, alright, you’re one of the biggest backstabs in NXT history.
Trick Williams: Let’s talk about it.
Johnny Gargano: No, we’re not gonna talk about it, okay? Because yes, there’s a lot of history here, but you know what people want to see? They want to see two generations of NXT in the biggest tag match in NXT History at NXT Homecoming. So, how about this, Trick Melo Gang versus DIY.

Breaking News: The Glamour is not done with Jordynne Grace. Jordynne Grace made a big mistake. This is a tragedy, Jordynne. I’m The Glamour. The starlet on the marquee. The champaign soaked Cinderella of WWE. You ruined everything. It was never meant to be like this. I wanted to be something different.
