Triple H Promo

Here’s the thing, I came out here to thank you. I came out here to thank you, because less than 24 hours ago, you all made something very special happened. I can now really tell you, that was the greatest WrestleMania of all-time. By every single metric there is, by every standard there is, and by everything you have said, it was the biggest WrestleMania ever. So, I simply came out here to say, thank you. On Saturday night, I had the privilege of standing in this ring, and welcoming everyone to WrestleMania. Now, I have the privilege of standing in this ring, and welcoming you to Monday Night Raw. On Saturday, I also said, welcome to a new time, welcome to a new era. So, right now, I would like you all to welcome the man that will lead us into that new era. Please welcome the brand-new Undisputed WWE Champion, The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes, Triple H, The Rock Segment

Triple H: Before I leave, I just wanted to say, congratulations. As they said, you absolutely do deserve it. I wanted to say congratulations for bringing to an end one of the incredible title runs of all-time from Roman Reigns. To headlining, probably, what I know is now the greatest WrestleMania of all-time. And also to your first night as champion, setting an attendance and gate record here tonight for the WWE. The largest gate in the history of the company right here tonight, over 20,000 people. But before I go, I got a call last night when WrestleMania was finished, about two hours later, from a couple of guys from our studio that you’ve known for a long time. And they asked me, we made something special for Cody, and can you share it with him? I watched it, and I said, hell, no, I’m going to share it with everyone. Now, because Cody has set a record in here, we had made to make extra room for everybody, so we don’t have the normal tron for all of you to watch it on, so we kind of went bootleg and pulled out these monitors so you can see it, too. So, forgive the look and feel, but Cody, this is for you.

Cody Rhodes: So, Raw After WrestleMania, Philadelphia, what do you want to talk about? Oh, I felt that I knew what I wanted to talk about. This whole business, you know, something I heard. Samantha, I’m sure you know what I’m going to ask of you. Please, just one more time, please.

Samantha Irvin: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new Undisputed WWE Champion, The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes: It was two years ago, it was the Raw After WrestleMania, I came out here, I laid out my goals. I dreamed, and last night at WrestleMania 40, that dream became reality. I have been told, the altitude in Philadelphia is 39 feet above sea level, but I don’t know, the air in here feels a little thin. Don’t be misled, I think it’s because you and I, right here and now, are standing on top of the mountain. And the champion previously on top of the mountain, The Tribal Chief, The Head Of The Table, Roman Reigns. 1,316 days as champion, we don’t have to like him, but I certainly acknowledge what he’s done, and perhaps he’s the most important superstar of our generation. Indeed, thank you. Maybe the most important superstar of my generation. And me, I was the man destined to defeat him.

You know, a big thing they ask you when you get into sports entertainment, when you get into wrestling is what’s your why? Why are you doing this? Why do you pay the price? Why do you make the sacrifices? If I could, I know we got a unique set up in here, with this wonderfully huge house. But if you could indulge me, everybody in the truck, I would like to show you one of my main why’s. That is my Libby Girl, and I wanted her to know, that when Papa goes to work, he doesn’t just go to work, he goes to work in the main event. That when Papa is fighting, he is no longer fighting as a challenger, but instead fighting as champion. This is a unique predicament for me. I have always stood in a line, now the line is for me. Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Cody Rhodes, once undesirable, become undeniable, and now Undisputed Universal WWE Champion.

The Rock: The Rock is a lot of things, Philadelphia, but sucks isn’t one of them. Now, before we began, The Rock came out here to deliver flowers to Cody Rhodes. And also say, that Philadelphia broke another record, for the largest gathering of trailer park trash. Yeah, chant now, shit heads, now you shut the fuck up, you pieces of trash. Now, The Rock came out here, no fireworks, no blood being spilt, just you and The Rock. And The Rock just want to give you your flowers. Cody Rhodes, you did it. They can chant what they want, but this is between you and The Rock. You did it. You completed the story. You faced all odds. And you beat Roman Reigns in the middle of that ring, 1-2-3. You think Cody, all the stuff that you had to overcome, The Rock made you bleed, The Rock got your blood on his hands, The Rock ripped your clothes and split your skin.

And you still did it all, you won, you completed the story, and The Rock even made a belt, it was a special belt. He whipped you like a dog, boy. He even put a special name on that belt. Mama Rhodes. No disrespect, she was so happy those past couple of nights, especially last night. She had a big smile on her face. She was proud of her boy, and she should be. You know who else had a big smile on their face? Your daddy in Heaven. As you know, as your family knows, and a lot of these people know, your father was my hero, man. The American Dream. And as you know, maybe you know, The Soul Man, your dad and my dad, they were good friends, man. They ran the towns; they went up and down those roads. I’m thinking I’m not quite too sure if my daddy was proud of me with me all the bad stuff I did to you.

But I thought, well, I don’t care. But I’ll tell you what, Cody, you did it, you finish your story, and look at that belt. You got a brand-new belt, look at that thing, it’s beautiful. You got the new name plate on it. No, no, no, I know you like to say that The Rock’s belt is fake, but this belt was given to me by Muhammad Ali’s Widow, Lonnie Ali. Thank you, at the Hall Of Fame this past weekend. You see, years ago, when The Rock joined The Nation Of Domination, and called himself The People’s Champion, Muhammad Ali gave The Rock that moniker, The People’s Champion. So, this belt means a lot to The Rock, just like that belt means a lot to you. But, Cody, let The Rock ask you something. Is there anyway that The Rock can hold that title? No fireworks tonight, no harm. I grew up in professional wrestling just like you did. I love pro wrestling titles. I’ve had every single one in these hands, but I’ve never held that one.

Cody Rhodes: Well, you want to hold this one?

The Rock: I do.

Cody Rhodes: You could hold this one, for a moment, just long as I could hold yours.

The Rock: Sure, of course, absolutely. I would be honored for you to hold, The People’s Champ Title, of course. I got to say, this just kind of feels right. Thank you, Cody. Thank you very much for that, it means a lot. So, Cody Rhodes, as you know, as many of you know, The Rock has got to go away for a little while now. I know, trust, The Rock, he doesn’t want to leave, either. The Rock loves professional wrestling. He made it cool again. You made it cool again. But just remember, The Rock is going to go away, but when The Rock comes back, Cody. Whether you’re champion or you’re not champion, The Rock is going to come back for you.

Cody Rhodes: I’m looking forward to it.

The Rock: The Rock is looking forward to it, too. The whole world is going to look forward to that. Also, one more thing I want you to know, something very critical. Yesterday, Cody Rhodes, at the biggest WrestleMania of all-time, you beat Roman Reigns in the middle of the ring, 1-2-3. However, less than 24 hours before that, The Rock beat you in the middle of the ring, 1-2-3. So, Cody Rhodes, your story with Roman Reigns is over, and you did it. But our story has just begun.

Cody Rhodes: I believe that because you’re the boss, right? You’re The Final Boss, but you’re also on the board with TKO, you are my literal boss, right?

The Rock: That is right.

Cody Rhodes: Well, I don’t dispute that, but I don’t think you’ll dispute this. I’m the champion. I am their champion. And boss, that means I’m your champion.

The Rock: You are their champion. You are the worlds champion. You are my champion. Cody Rhodes, there’s one last thing before The Final Boss rides off into the sunset. I have something to give you. No fireworks, you don’t even have to open your hand to see what this is. Don’t you ever break my heart again. If You Smell What The Final Boss Is Cooking.

Damian Priest Championship Celebration

Finn Balor: To all the haters, to all the doubters, to everybody who thought Rhea Ripley couldn’t beat Becky Lunch, to everybody who thought Damian Priest couldn’t cash in and become Senor World Heavyweight Champion, I just want each and every one of you to know that you were all wrong.

Dominik Mysterio: And still the WWE Women’s World Champion, my Mami, Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley: WrestleMania, it was almost perfect. But, you know, we have a couple of new problems that we need to deal with. But two things came out of this weekend. One being that Mami is always on top. And the other one being that this is a new era for The Judgment Day.

Finn Balor: So, without further ado, your new World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest.

Damian Priest: You damn right I do. Now, the Terror Twins stand before you as world champions. I think it goes without saying that we always rise to the occasion. Now, the whole world needs to follow suit, and all rise for The Judgment Day. Oh, hell no, are you crazy? What are you doing? I’m not doing this again, man. Stop it. Get out.

R-Truth: I’m just out here to celebrate all of us. Look, I brought the tag titles back to The Judgment Day. Full circle. Now, let’s change subjects. I know how we’re a little picky about certain people being in our group, but I’m only one half of the tag team champions, I think we should talk about bringing my partner in.

The Miz: Truth, I don’t want to be in Judgment Day. And I know you actually don’t want to be in The Judgment Day.

Damian Priest: He’s not in The Judgment Day.

R-Truth: I am in The Judgment Day.

The Miz: Since you guys are introducing new champions, allow me to introduce to The Judgment Day, and all of Philadelphia, the new Raw Tag Team Champions, The Awesome Truth.

Finn Balor: You think you’re so funny, don’t you, Miz? Well, you know what I think is funny, I think it’s funny that The Awesome Truth are going to have the shortest tag team reign in WWE history. Because seeing as you decided to come out here, and spoil our celebration, how about you put those tag team titles on the line, right here, right now?

R-Truth: Although, that sounds like fun, we can’t. There’s only three of us.

Finn Balor: Three of you?

The Miz: Three of us? You’re talking about a real person, and not Little Jimmy, right?

R-Truth: Yes, I am. You know what? We can have a 6-Man Tag Team Match against me, The Miz, and the guy you can’t see.

JD McDonagh: So, let me get this right, Truth. You want to have a 6-Man Tag, you, Miz, and a guy we can’t see against The Judgment Day? You’re on.

The Miz: Truth, I actually want to physically see our partner.

R-Truth: Dog, you will. Look, I wanted him to come out and celebrate with us, but I know he rather tag instead?

Drew McIntyre Promo

Cut the music. What happened last night was complete and utter BS. Five minutes and forty-six seconds, that’s how long my moment lasted. Some of you think that’s funny? It was five minutes longer than most of you last in bed, so shut it. Before I fly off the handle here, Seth Rollins, I want to tell you, I might not like you all the time, but I respect you. You stood by your convictions. You went out in your shield. And we shared a moment only warriors know about, so thank you for that. But then that bondage Undertaker, Damian Priest, screwed it all up. I would whoop your ass, but you would probably like that. The MITB Briefcase is joke, a freaking joke, it’s cost me the World Title twice now, it cheapens everything Seth did, everything I did. You stole that from me, Priest, and I coming for you. You are nothing but a transitional champion. And after tonight, that belt belongs to Drew McIntyre. Oh, no, he might have the contract, but he didn’t cause that finish.

The one that caused all of this was that prick, CM Punk. I told you what I was going to do, Punk. I told you I would win that title, and I would have my moment. I would have my moment with my family. And I dropped that title in your stupid face, and that’s exactly what I did. And it was no accident, I was within striking distance from you. I looked you in the eye, said everything I had to say, and you did nothing, nothing at all. You put the headphones on, you made jokes, you went into business for yourself. You are a coward. The second I took my eyes off of you, you sweep my legs, you take off that brace, and bash me in the face. So, Punk, you thought it was bad before, tearing your triceps was bad before. I know you’re going to disappear for months. You’re going to go into hiding. From now on, it’s on sight, and I’m going for your weakest part. It just happens to be that your whole body is your weakest part.
