The Usos joins the commentary team for this match. Mansoor with Two Inverted Atomic Drops. Mansoor launches Carrillo over the top rope. Carrillo with a shoulder block. Mansoor answers with another Inverted Atomic Drop. Cesaro and Garza are tagged in. Cesaro with The Tilt-A-Whirl BackBreaker. Cesaro uppercuts Garza. Erik tags himself in. Garza shoves Erik into Cesaro. Garza rips off his pants. Shanky tags himself in. Erik ducks a clothesline from Shanky. Erik with two hamstring kicks. Erik with The Rolling Elbow. Carrillo launches Mansoor to the corner. Mansoor rolls under a clothesline from Carrillo. Mansoor tags in Cesaro. Cesaro clotheslines Carrillo. Cesaro knocks Mahal and Shanky off the apron. Cesaro with a Running European Uppercut. Cesaro transitions into a corner mount. Cesaro with a flying axe handle strike to Garza. Cesaro with The Samoan Drop. Ivar tags himself in. Second Match: Natalya vs. Aliyah 

Natalya attacks Aliyah before the bell rings. Natalya is throwing haymakers at Aliyah. Natalya repeatedly stomps on Aliyah’s chest. The referee admonishes Natalya. Natalya repeatedly sends Aliyah face first into the canvas and the middle turnbuckle pad. Natalya continues to viciously attack Aliyah in the corner. Aliyah still wants to fight. Aliyah connects with The Schoolgirl Rollup to pickup the victory.

Winner: Aliyah via Pinfall 

Lita & Charlotte Flair Segment 

Michael Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to welcome to SmackDown for the first time in nearly 20 years, a true game changer. This woman has blazed trails, she’s busted through glass ceilings and she’s been an inspiration to an entire generation of WWE Superstar. Please welcome, a 4x Women’s Champion and a WWE Hall Of Famer, Lita. Lita, welcome, how great does it feel to be back inside a WWE ring?

Lita: I am home, finally, right? You guys, that still gives me chills every time.

Michael Cole: Well, Lita, I can speak for everyone in the WWE Universe that you would give us chills week after week whenever you performed here in WWE. You talk to a lot of the WWE Superstars today and they talk about how you would inspire them, the likes of Bayley, and Liv Morgan, and Naomi and current Raw Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch. So with all that said, why are you coming back to participate in the Royal Rumble Match?

Lita: Look, Michael, it has been a wild ride. I have more career highlights than I can count. I mean, being one of the first women to main event Raw with my bestie Trish Stratus. Being the first woman involved in TLC Matches, Steel Cage Matches and winding up in the WWE Hall Of Fame. You know, most days I would say, I am fully satisfied with my career, until kinda recently, right? I did not have the opportunity to compete in the Royal Rumble Match when I was competing, we didn’t have one. But now we do and I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve got one run left in me. So I’ve got a plan, okay? I am going to enter the Royal Rumble, I am going to mow through 29 women, come out victorious and main event WrestleMania.

Charlotte Flair: I got this, I’m going to interview Lita. Lita, how are you? Yeah, whatever, I didn’t know it was Flashback Friday. I mean, you guys, this is so extreme, isn’t that what you used to say back in the day? Wow, I mean, it’s so much fun reminiscing about the good old days. But I don’t know if you know this, but I’m entering the Royal Rumble as champion. And when I win, I get to pick the opponent to main event WrestleMania. So in a few weeks, when I throw you over the top rope, this fun little run that you’re talking about is going to be over. So I guess my question is, which I know you’re all dying to know, I mean, Lita, I’m dying to know. Lita, are you ready for this question? How are you going to handle the humiliation when I end this short-lived come back and your WrestleMania dreams?

Lita: Oh, yeah, I heard about this whole Charlotte, this version right here. Looks like we’ve got a real Tonya Harding on our hands, huh? I’m just keeping with the flashback friday thing, you know, it’s like a theme. I’m just curious how you’re gonna throw anyone over the top rope with that giant head that you have? Like how do you not just like, tip over? A huge giant head. Giant head.

Charlotte Flair: I can’t hear you. You know what, Lita? I have a question for you. It’s really funny that you bring up your bestie Trish Stratus, because back at SummerSlam 2019, when Trish was bored with being a mom and desperate to be be relevant, she actually begged me for a match. And, I mean, of course I said yes. And you know what, she put up a hell of a fight, but she lost. I broke her. She was so broken, she actually retired. And at the Royal Rumble PPV, that’s exactly what I’m going to do to you.

Lita nearly slaps Charlotte in the face. Lita kicks Charlotte in the gut. Lita connects with The Twist Of Fate to close the segment.

Third Match: Sheamus vs. Ricochet 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Sheamus with a headlock takeover. Ricochet drop steps into a side headlock. Ricochet is throwing haymakers at Sheamus. Ricochet with two side headlock takeovers. Sheamus whips Ricochet across the ring. Sheamus drops Ricochet with a shoulder tackle. Sheamus punches Ricochet in the back. Sheamus stomps on the left hand of Ricochet. Sheamus uppercuts Ricochet. Sheamus goes for a PowerBomb, but Ricochet counters with The Hurricanrana over the top rope. Ricochet with The PK. Ricochet hits The Fosbury Flop. Ricochet is fired up. Ricochet rolls Sheamus back into the ring. Sheamus bails out to the floor. Sheamus is trying to drag Ricochet’s off the ring apron. Sheamus sweeps out the legs of Ricochet. Sheamus catapults Ricochet face first into the support beam under the ring.

Sheamus has complete control of the match during the commercial break. Sheamus applies The Bow and Arrow Stretch. Ricochet with a Mule Kick. Ricochet decks Sheamus with a JawBreaker. Sheamus goes for a Belly to Back Suplex, but Ricochet lands back on his feet. Ricochet ducks a clothesline from Sheamus. Ricochet with a SpringBoard Crossbody Block. Ricochet delivers his combination offense. Sheamus reverses out of the irish whip from Ricochet. Ricochet kicks Sheamus in the chest. Sheamus goes for a Bodyslam, but Ricochet lands back on his feet. Ricochet avoids The Brogue Kick. Sheamus rocks Ricochet with a forearm smash. Ricochet kicks Sheamus in the chest. Ricochet has Sheamus draped across the middle strand. Ricochet with The LionSault for a two count.

Ricochet drags Sheamus to the corner. Sheamus avoids The Shooting Star Press. Sheamus with The Irish Curse BackBreaker for a two count. Sheamus with a forearm shot across the back of Ricochet. Ten Beats Of The Bodhran. Sheamus clotheslines Ricochet back into the ring. Ricochet fights out of the fireman’s carry position. Ricochet repeatedly kicks Sheamus in the face. Ricochet with The Sunset Flip PowerBomb for a two count. Sheamus fights out of the fireman’s carry position. Sheamus catches Ricochet in mid-air. Sheamus goes for The Alabama Slam, but Ricochet lands back on his feet. Ricochet ducks a clothesline from Sheamus. Ricochet goes for The Handspring Enzuigiri, but Sheamus counters with The Brogue Kick to pickup the victory.

Fourth Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Riddick Moss w/Baron Corbin 

Kofi ducks a clothesline from Moss. Kofi thrust kicks the midsection of Moss. Kofi with two hamstring kicks. Kofi punches Moss in the back. Kofi with a Headscissors Takeover over the top rope. Kofi lands The Trust Fall. Kofi is fired up. Moss regains control of the match during the commercial break. Moss applies a rear chin lock. Kofi with heavy bodyshots. Moss reverses out of the irish whip from Kofi. Moss with The Fallaway Slam. Moss repeatedly stomps on Kofi’s chest. Moss is raining down haymakers. Kofi with forearm shivers.

Roman Reigns: Before you say anything, Omaha, Acknowledge Me!

Seth Rollins: All right, all right, all right, well, let’s acknowledge the fact that this is quite a moment, and I was thinking, what do you say, for old times’ sake? (Shield Fist Bump). Come on, just throw it in there, you know you want to.

Roman Reigns: That’s beneath me now.

Seth Rollins: Ohhh!  All right, all right, you don’t want to acknowledge that, well, let’s acknowledge the look on your face when I showed up in your office last week. It seems to me, I’m the last person on earth you wanted to see. And to be fair, why would you want to see me, I mean, our track record in singles matches for championships is pretty one sided. I won them all, so I understand where you’re coming from, I understand why you wouldn’t want to see me.

Roman Reigns: He’s out here talking about the past, y’all. You must be sleeping under a rock or something. You don’t understand what’s happening here. I am in God mode nowadays, son. I’m the Tribal Chief. I’m the head of your table. I’m the provider around here. I’m the greatest of this generation, no questions asked. I’m the greatest Universal Champion of all-time, which makes me the greatest to ever do this.

Seth Rollins: Oh, you know what? Look, I didn’t come out here to rain on your parade. I came out here, what’s that thing you do? “Acknowledge Me.” Yeah, I came out here to acknowledge you, acknowledge all of your success, all of the championships, all of the main events, everything that you’ve done. I just got a question for you. Can you look yourself in the mirror at night and say that you’ve done that all by yourself? Can you, because that’s the big difference between you and me, Roman.

You see, without Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins is just fine. I was climbing my way up to ladder while you were riding the pine in the CFL. And I was holding your hand, left and right, back in The Shield days. And then when I sent you packing with a chair to the back, you still couldn’t do it on your own. You needed your famous bloodline to help you, hold everything up. So the real question I have for you is, do you really understand who the greatest is here? Because let’s not forget, I created you, and I can destroy you. Ah, yes, sir!

Roman Reigns: This is a waste of my time. You’re a waste of my time. I mean, come on, look at this guy. You look like a clown, you sound like a clown, because you’re a clown. You clearly don’t have the star power that I have. You’ll never reach the levels that I’ve reached. And let’s just be honest, if I was looking for a Superstar, a Mega Star, I wouldn’t have chosen you from Raw. Hell, you wouldn’t even been the one I chose from your own household. If I wanted to main event the Royal Rumble with a mega star, I would have chosen your wife.

Rollins avoids the sneak attack from The Usos to close the show.
