Tommaso Ciampa, I just want to say thank you. Tommaso is an unbelievable athlete, he’s a great performer, but most importantly, man, he’s a great human. Most people didn’t see it, but when the match was over, he stood up, grabbed my neck and said, kid, it’s your time. And he got out of the ring, he went over here in the front row and paid respects to my father who was watching me live for the first time ever. I know that I got my big shoes to fill, I know that, but I’m ready for this. And what I love about NXT the most, is that we don’t have a bye-week, we don’t have days off.

Week after week, we gotta get back up on the horse and perform for each and every one of you. So, to anybody back there in the locker room who wants to come out and challenge me for this NXT Championship, know this, everyday when you show up for training, I’ve already trained. And I will prove that why I earned this championship each and every week.

First Match: Santos Escobar w/Legado Del Fantasma vs. Xyon Quinn

Joe Gacy and Edris Enofe will start things off. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Gacy backs Enofe into the turnbuckles. The referee calls for a clean break. Enofe ducks a clothesline from Gacy. Enofe applies a waist lock. Gacy decks Enofe with a back elbow smash. Gacy applies a side headlock. Enofe whips Gacy across the ring. Gacy drops Enofe with a shoulder tackle. Enofe leapfrogs over Gacy. Enofe fights out of the fireman’s carry position. Enofe sends Gacy into the ropes. Gacy with a running forearm smash. Gacy with The Uranage Slam for a one count. Angelo runs towards the crowbar. Angelo with a forearm smash. Dunne unloads three knife edge chops. Angelo drives his knee into the midsection of Dunne. Angelo goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Dunne counters with The Kimura Lock. Dunne transitions into a hammerlock. Dunne stomps on the left elbow of Angelo. Angelo pulls Dunne off the top turnbuckle. Angelo is throwing haymakers at Dunne. Angelo with a gut punch. Dunne denies The Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Dunne brings Angelo down to the mat. Dunne stomps on the back of Angelo’s head. Miller dropkicks Hartwell to the floor. Catanzaro tags herself in. Miller lands The Suicide Dive. Catanzaro tags out to Carter. Carter with a Flying Crossbody Block.
