Roman Reigns: When it comes to sports entertainment, WWE runs New York City, right? And who runs WWE?

Paul Heyman: My Tribal Chief, you run WWE.

Roman Reigns: That’s right, The Tribal Chief and The Bloodline runs WWE. Therefore, The Tribal Chief runs New York City. Which means The Tribal Chief runs Madison Square Garden. So MSG, Acknowledge Me!

– Brock Lesnar walks down to the ring.

Paul Heyman: I still fail to understand. I have one simple question for you. Of all the championships that we can go after together, why the Universal Title? Think of all the success we can have going with the WWE Championship?

Brock Lesnar: I got a question for you, Paul. Why didn’t you tell Roman I was gonna be at SummerSlam?

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And for 20 years, I was the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed, WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world, BROCK LESNAR!

Brock Lesnar: That was great, Paul. God, that was great, just like old times. Oh, man. Before Roman Reigns fires you, accept my challenge, please. My shot at Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. You’ve got five seconds, Paul.

Brock goes for The F5, but Reigns counters with The Superman Punch. Brock catches Reigns in mid-air. The Usos delivers Two SuperKicks. Brock responds with a double clothesline. Brock brings The Usos to Suplex City to close the segment.

First Match: Big E, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rick Boogs and The Mysterio Family vs. Apollo Crews, Sami Zayn, Otis Dozovic, and The Dirty Dawgs w/Chad Gable, Commander Azeez and Trae Young In A 10-Man Tag Team Match 

Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler will start things off. Ziggler with a waist lock go-behind. Ziggler shoves Nakamura. Nakamura delivers his combination offense. Nakamura ducks a clothesline from Roode. Nakamura with a Step Through Kick. Ziggler tags in Dozovic. Dozovic punches Nakamura in the back. Dozovic dumps Nakamura out of the ring. Nakamura with a Step Up Enzuigiri to Gable. Nakamura taunts Azeez and Young. Dozovic blasts Nakamura off the ring apron with The Running Body Avalanche. That leads us to a massive standoff on the outside. Dozovic stands on the midsection of Nakamura. Dozovic whips Nakamura into the turnbuckles. Dozovic levels Nakamura with another Body Avalanche.

Team Zayn has complete control of the match during the commercial break. Zayn drives his knee into the midsection of Nakamura. Zayn goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Nakamura lands back on his feet. Nakamura with a Roundhouse Kick. Nakamura tags in Rey. Rey with The Flying Seated Senton. Rey clears the ring. Rey side steps Zayn into the turnbuckles. Rey ducks a clothesline from Ziggler. Rey thrust kicks the midsection of Ziggler. Rey drills Zayn with The Canadian Destroyer for a two count. Crews drops Dominik with a Step Up Enzuigiri. Boogs with The Release T-Bone Suplex. Dozovic answers with The Discus Back Elbow Smash.

Nakamura with a Leaping Leg Lariat. Ziggler SuperKicks Nakamura. Big E with an Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex. Roode hits The SpineBuster. Rey ducks a clothesline from Roode. Rey with a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Takeover into the middle rope. Zayn trips Rey from the outside. Zayn puts his knee on Rey’s neck. Trae Young attacks Rey behind the referee’s back. The referee has ejected Young from the ringside area. Dominik slams Zayn’s head on the top rope. Rey with a Hurricanrana into the middle rope. Rey tags in Dominik. The Mysterio Family connects with The Double 619. Dominik tags in Big E. Big E plants Zayn with The Big Ending to pickup the victory.

Second Match: Edge vs. Seth Rollins 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Wrist Lock Exchange. Strong lockup. Edge applies a side headlock. Edge with a side headlock takeover. Rollins answers with the headscissors escape. Edge grabs a side headlock. Rollins whips Edge across the ring. Rollins drops down on the canvas. Rollins dropkicks the left knee of Edge. Edge rolls Rollins over for a two count. Edge is throwing haymakers at Rollins. Edge whips Rollins into the turnbuckles. Edge denies The Turnbuckle Flatliner. Edge with a drop toe hold into the middle turnbuckle pad. Edge drives Rollins shoulder first into the steel ring post. Edge applies an arm-bar. Rollins pulls Edge out of the ring. Rollins throws Edge into the ringside barricade. Rollins goes for The CrossFace, but Edge rolls him over for a two count. Edge applies The CrossFace. Edge repeatedly slams Rollins face on the canvas.
