Second Match: Cameron Grimes w/LA Knight vs. Josh Briggs 

LA Knight and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase joins the commentary team for this match. Grimes grabs the left leg of Briggs. Grimes applies a wrist lock. Briggs drives his knee into the midsection of Grimes. Briggs drops Grimes with The Big Boot. Briggs is throwing haymakers at Grimes. Briggs stomps on Grimes chest. Briggs whips Grimes into the turnbuckles. Briggs with a Side Walk Toss. Briggs with The Standing Frog Splash for a two count. Grimes kicks Briggs in the face. Grimes avoids the elbow drop.

Grimes with a forearm smash. Briggs catches Grimes in mid-air. Briggs goes for The Powerslam, but Grimes lands back on his feet. Grimes delivers his combination offense. Briggs reverses out of the irish whip from Grimes. Grimes with two flying forearm smashes. Grimes denies The Chokeslam. Grimes goes for The O’Connor Roll, but Briggs holds onto the ropes. Third Match: Dexter Lumis & Indi Hartwell vs. Robert Stone & Jessi Kamea w/Franky Monet In A Mixed Tag Team Match 

Dexter Lumis and Robert Stone will start things off. Stone is playing mind games with Lumis. Stone grabs the right leg of Lumis. Lumis crawls towards Stone. Monet rolls Stone back into the ring. Stone talks smack to Lumis. Stone cartwheels around Lumis. Lumis uppercuts Stone. Hartwell kicks Kamea in the gut. Index with Stereo Boots. Kamea dumps Hartwell out of the ring. Stone with clubbing blows to Lumis back. Stone sends Lumis into the ropes. Lumis shoves Stone into the canvas. Monet trips Lumis from the outside. Lumis drags Monet into the ring. The referee has ejected Monet from the ringside area. Robert Stone Brand somehow has complete control of this match during the commercial break. Kamea applies a top wrist lock. Kamea pulls Hartwell down to the mat. Kamea goes for a SpringBoard Senton, but Hartwell ducks out of the way. Hartwell uses her feet to create separation. Stone tags himself in.

Lumis is throwing haymakers at Stone. Lumis uppercuts Stone. Lumis with a corner clothesline. Lumis with The Running Bulldog. Stone begs for mercy. Lumis wants Stone to shake his hand. Hudson dumps Hayes back first on the canvas. Hayes applies a side headlock. Hudson whips Hayes across the ring. Hudson drops Hayes with a shoulder tackle. Hamstring Kick Exchange. Lee side steps Aichner into the turnbuckles. Lee crawls under Aichner. Lee applies a side headlock. Aichner sends Lee to the corner. Lee blocks a boot from Aichner. Aichner goes for the corner clothesline, but Lee counters with The Rolling Crucifix for a two count. Lee with heavy bodyshots. Aichner launches Lee over the top rope. Carter tags himself in. Lee with an Apron Enzuigiri. Carter with The Bronco Buster for a one count. Aichner backs Carter into the ropes. Barthel tags himself in. Aichner drops down on the canvas. So tuck your clock in your back pocket and let’s find out what happens when there’s a little less space and a lot more opportunity between us, and stroll your ass down here, young champion.

Killer Kross: You still don’t get it, Joe. This isn’t even about you. Hell, this ain’t even about me. This is about the future of this brand. And, what, you think you’re just gonna walk into Takeover 36 and become NXT Champion after taking a year off? I don’t think so. And at this present time, I am going to call NXT security down to this ring. Don’t make that face, Joe. It’s not protection for me. It’s protection for you.
