Bobby Lashley & Goldberg Segment

MVP: Chi-Town, Welcome back to Monday Night Raw. Where y’all been? Alright, look, I know everybody is very excited to see Goldberg. But before he comes out here, The Almighty has asked me to address a few things. See, a couple weeks ago, Goldberg showed up, uninvited, to challenge The Almighty Bobby Lashley for his WWE Championship. The Almighty has not dignified that challenge with a response, so let’s address a few things. Without question, Goldberg is an icon, a goat, a WWE Hall of Famer, still capable of annihilating, virtually any man on any given night.

But, you see, there in lies the problem. He didn’t challenge any man, he challenged The Almighty. You see, Goldberg is a gladiator, and he’s used to stepping into this coliseum and crushing any gladiator that stands before him. Bobby Lashley is not a gladiator, he’s a kaiju, a larger than life, unstoppable monster.  So I’m out here to stop a tragedy from unfolding. Listen, Goldberg, I know you’re listening. And you all know, if Lashley accepts Goldberg’s challenge, it won’t end well for him. It could very well be the final match of his storied career. So, I say to you, Mr. Goldberg. Bill, if I may, do you want to be remembered as a champion or a casualty.

Goldberg: Bobby Lashley! Let’s get something straight. If anybody should be worried about losing something, it’s you losing the WWE Championship. Now, after listening to your intro, you (MVP), you are nothing but scared and you (Lashley), you look scared. Now, I know what you’re thinking, Bobby. You’re a high level athlete. You’re a gladiator. But, high level athlete, you question yourself. You gladiator, you show weakness. So, you think you’re up for the challenge? Because the first time you saw me walking down that ramp, you thought I was your victim.

You thought I was the next gladiator walking down to your Coliseum. Well, guess what, Lashley? This ain’t your coliseum. This is Chicago. And they can smell fear a mile away. And you either crapped your pants or you’re scared out of your mind. You see, it doesn’t matter whether I’m 35, 45, or 105, Goldberg will always be Goldberg. Goldberg lives by the spear and you, champ, will die by the spear. That’s why I am Goldberg, and because I’m Goldberg, at SummerSlam, Champ, YOU’RE NEXT !!!

Lashley and MVP starts talking smack to Goldberg’s son Gage at ringside. Goldberg Spears MVP to close the segment.

Charlotte Flair & Nikki Cross Segment

Charlotte Flair: A few days ago, I woke up to a headline that read, Simone Biles withdraws from The Olympic Games. And I couldn’t help but take a second and think to myself, why would the greatest gymnast of all time not wanna go for the gold anymore? And later, I discovered that it was for mental health concerns. And the more I learned, the more I couldn’t help but empathize with her. Now, I’m going somewhere with this, listen. So two weeks, at Money In The Bank, I defeated Rhea Ripley. Yeah, Becky’s not here, I’m the one who sold out the Allstate Arena, not her. Yes, that was me. So I was saying, listen, I’m going somewhere with this. Now, two weeks ago at Money In The Bank, like I said, I defeated Rhea Ripley. And then the next night on RAW, Nikki A.S.H successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and illegitimately won. No, she stole my Raw Women’s Championship.

Now, I have been in this business for a very long time. And when I woke up the next morning, I couldn’t help but think to myself, what the hell is going on? I am near a breaking point. I am going to have my own nervous breakdown, you wanna know why? Because I am the 11X Women’s Champion. Do you wanna know what that makes me? I am the most decorated woman in the history of this business. So listen, I believe that all of you, I’m speaking on behalf of all of you, that cashing in the Money in the Bank contract is the most cowardly way to win a title in this business. It is not competition, you wanna know what it is? It is theft. And since the inception of the Money in the Bank contract, I have been cashed in on not once. Oh, yes, I’m gonna beat Nikki Cross with this (Kendo Stick). I have not been cashed in on twice, yep, I’m gonna hit her with a broom.

I have been cashed in on three times. You know what, it’s like cashing in on Charlotte Flair is the only way to make a name for yourself. It’s cashing in on my hard work. So, last week, I asked for a one-on-one match against Nikki to show my superiority to all of you aspiring, wannabe, almost superheroes that believe in Nikki Cross. And when I defeated her, she had the audacity to stand up and have the confidence to say that she could still beat me, Charlotte Flair, and request a rematch? So you know what I did? Your champion shook my left hand, leaving my right to punch her in the face. So no, your champion is not confident, she’s gullible. And the only thing you people love more than a champion is a martyr. And Nikki A.S.H. Cross is both. And tonight, she’s going to sacrifice herself in a No Holds Barred Match, where there’s no disqualification, no count outs, and no hiding from me. Anything goes tonight.

Cross blasts Charlotte with a steel chair to close the segment.
