There’s a saying, that people who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes, ashes of the one responsible for their affliction. The voices, the voices in my head have never been louder. Encapsulating my every thought, just like this mask encapsulates my face. Three weeks ago, I held Alexa Bliss’ fate in my hands. And I showed a side of myself that I didn’t know existed, compassion. The pure hatred I had for myself needed to be redirected, so I did just that. And my next victim arrived like a lamb to the slaughter, until she interrupted. And now, look at me, this is the damnation I receive for showing compassion?

I haven’t been able to sleep because every time I close my eyes, all I see, is that ball of fire furling towards my face. That inescapable feeling of the fire melting my flesh will never go away. If there was any semblance of compassion left in my body, it left as that inferno engulfed my face. I am wearing this mask to not only protect myself, but to shield everyone else from the horror that I endured. Despite the agony I felt that would mortify a lesser man, I consider myself lucky. I came away with first degree burns. The burns could have been much more severe. That fireball could have disfigured my entire face forever.

But I don’t blame her. I don’t blame her. I blame him. I blame The Fiend. And I sent him straight to hell. There’s no doubt The Fiend is responsible for this. Alexa was merely the vehicle and I know exactly what The Fiend wants. He wants to stop me from achieving the inevitable. I know everyone in that locker room enjoyed seeing my face burned to a crisp, knowing that their biggest threat may have just been eliminated from competing in the Royal Rumble Match, but you could chop off all my limbs and it wouldn’t stop me from winning this year’s Royal Rumble Match. Cuz despite my sickening affliction, I vow to remain in the Royal Rumble Match. I can only compete as long as I can tolerate the pain, but the funny thing is I enjoy the pain. It fuels my every move. So everyone can thank The Fiend when I burn their Royal Rumble dreams to ashes and I go on to main event WrestleMania.
