Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Kyle O’Reilly, Pete Dunne, and Scarlett Bordeaux Segment

Finn Balor: WarGames is done. And the time for team sports is over. Captains, factions, bragging rights, not interested. It’s Wednesday, and the champion is back. Now, some people love me, and some people hate me. But if you want to get to know me, you better come see me in this ring. So, if anyone in the back wants a shot at the prince, come on down.

Pete Dunne: Me and you, we’re cut from the same cloth. I came from overseas and I made a name for myself, just like you. So it’s about time we stand, face to face. And you know what? I’m glad you’re back. But don’t get used to it, because it’s a matter of time before I put you back on the shelf. And that NXT Title will be mine.

Kyle O’Reilly: Now, now, guys, sorry i’m late, my invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. I just really wanted to insert myself into this conversation. Now, Peter, Pumpkin Eater, you’re tough, man, and everybody in the back knows it. I know it, first hand. You and I, we, went to war, man. But who left WarGames with their hand being raised? The Era boys, we proved once again that this is The Undisputed Era, and you’re all just living in it. I know you didn’t forget about me, the man that broke your jaw, the man that took you to the limit. Now, sure, I guess technically you won the match, but really? I mean, technically you’re still NXT Champion, but come on, man. You spent the last two months eating your meals through a straw. Now, we’ve got unfinished business

Damian Priest: Finn Balor vs Damian Priest for the NXT Championship, now, that’s a marquee match. And, man, that’s not just something that I want, that’s something you want.

Pete Dunne: Aren’t you the geezer that couldn’t beat Leon Ruff?

Damian Priest: Oh, you got jokes. Aren’t you the guy that gets paid by McAfee to keep his mouth shut?

Pete Dunne: Shouldn’t you be in the hospital visiting your buddy, Bobby?

Damian Priest: Hey, champ, you going somewhere?

Finn Balor: Hey, boys, you need to learn some manners, because you cut me off before I was finished. On January 6, New Year’s EVIL, I will defend the title. But who’s gonna get that Finn rub? That’s not my problem, that’s Regal’s job.

– Scarlett Bordeaux appears on the stage.

Finn Balor: Let me guess, I know what you’re gonna say, TICK TOCK. Well, I got a message for your boy. You tell him, that when he’s ready, Finn’s ready.

Damian Priest: Hey, smoke show. You know, before you go, I gotta ask, do you usually tell your boy to wait in the car while you handle his business? You know, if he wants to come back and pick a fight, next time all he has to do is step to me like a man.
