Drew McIntyre, The Miz, and John Morrison Segment

Drew McIntyre: You know, i’ve been trying to think of the words to best express how I feel losing my WWE Championship, nearly 24 hours ago to Randy Orton. Truth is, i’ve got no excuses, just one promise, I will be WWE Champion, once again. I’ve been thinking about the movie, Rocky, there’s a quote in that movie that I live my life by, it’s not about hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward, that’s how winning is done.

If you’ve followed my career, you know, every single time Drew McIntyre gets knocked down, he gets back up, twice as strong. But you’re probably also wondering, why I seem to be in such a great mood, such a good sport, throwing out these inspirational quotes. Maybe Drew should be angry, he lost his championship, he flew off the side of the hell in a cell, 16 foot through that announce table and it hurt like hell. Here’s the thing, if you can read my mind right now, if you knew what was going on up here right now, you wouldn’t feel the same, you’d be scared.

– The Miz and John Morrison joins the conversation.

The Miz: Bravo, Drew. You know what, take a bow. As a matter of fact, everybody in the virtual world, and everybody watching at home, please, give Drew McIntyre an encore.

Drew McIntyre: I’m gonna strongly suggest you two choose your next words very, very wisely.

John Morrison: Drew, we were just coming out here to congratulate you on a good run.

Drew McIntyre: I’ll drop you where you stand.

John Morrison: A great run as WWE Champion. Over 200 days. Victories over dudes like, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, very impressive.

The Miz: Almost as impressive as being a two-time Mr. Money In The Bank. And you know, John, they say that all good things must come to an end, including Otis run as Mr. Money In The Bank, and Drew’s run as WWE Champion.

Drew McIntyre: What did I just say?

John Morrison: Come on, Drew, learn how to take a joke. Look, we’re not calling you a loser, just not a winner. And second place is pretty good for a lot of people.

The Miz: Exactly, we just came out here to commend you for not letting that monumental loss let you down. Besides, now you don’t have to worry about facing Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.

Drew McIntyre: And why would you say that?

The Miz: Well, before I was so rudely interrupted, you don’t have to worry about facing Randy Orton anymore because I have this, and this makes me Mr. Money In The Bank, and I want each and every one of you to understand that this entitles me to a World Championship Match, anytime I want. I have successfully defend it before and became WWE Champion. And who, John, did I beat?

John Morrison: Randy Orton.

The Miz: Correct!

Drew McIntyre: If you’re gonna interrupt me, at least pay attention to me, this is my segment.

The Miz: And where did that happened, John?

John Morrison: Right here in Orlando.

The Miz: Correct! I raced down that isle, I got in this ring, I cashed in my briefcase, Randy Orton tried to hit me with an RKO out of nowhere, I hit a Skull Crushing Finale, I pinned him, one, two, three, became WWE Champion, Angry Miz Girl was very upset, I went back to the locker room, people were clapping, I hugged you, John, and then that night I celebrated with my future wife.

John Morrison: Maryse?

The Miz: Correct! And this morning I was talking to Maryse on my way to the Thunderdome, and I thought, you know what, history could repeat itself because Randy Orton is a guest tonight on Moment Of Bliss.

John Morrison: So hey, Drew, things could be a lot worse.

The Miz: Correct! Let’s just hypothetically say that you won at Hell In A Cell, you didn’t, but let’s just say you did, you’d be standing here with the WWE Championship, out numbered by us. And in that case, I would’ve cashed in my Money In The Bank Contract, and became WWE Champion, thus putting you in the same situation you are in, right now. Disappointed, frustrated, and empty handed.

John Morrison: So, as embarrassing as this must be for you on the inside, look at the bright side, there’s no target on your back anymore, there’s no reason for you to worry about Miz. Oh, man, I just hope it doesn’t take another 19 years for you to get another shot at that title.
