Seth Rollins & Dominik Mysterio Contract Signing

Samoa Joe: Welcome to Monday Night Raw. Now, we stand just two weeks away from SummerSlam, and thank you for joining me at this contract signing as we make one of the most personal matches, official, for the biggest party of the summer. Now, i’ve been to a lot of contract signings in my time, but tonight is gonna be a little bit different as one of our competitors will be signing two contracts, the second being one that would him an official WWE Superstar.

So without further ado, I would like to introduce, The Goliath in our tale of David and Goliath, a man who I have several vulgar adjectives that I could use to describe, but I’ve been reminded of my professional duties. So without further ado, let me introduce, the self proclaimed Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins. And, his opponent, a man who may have a babyface, but the way he’s been taking the fight to CrossFit’s favorite cult leader, he seems like a grown ass man to me, the son of the greatest luchador, ever, in the history of sports entertainment, Dominik Mysterio.

Seth Rollins: What is this? Joe said a bunch of very nice things about you, he said you looked like a man, but you come out here with a kendo stick? You want to walk your own path, you want to be a man, you don’t look like a man to me, you look like a coward, like a scared little boy.

Samoa Joe: He’s absolutely right, you know, this will be much safer with me, right Dom?

Seth Rollins: What are you pointing at? You think is some kind of joke? This funny to you, Joe?

Samoa Joe: I don’t think this is funny at all, I mean, personally, I think this whole thing is sad.

Seth Rollins: What’s so sad about this, Joe?

Samoa Joe: What’s so sad? It’s simple, Seth, it’s what i’m looking at right now. What I should be seeing, is Seth Freaking Rollins, the greatest superstar, possibly of his generation. But what I do see, instead? I don’t see, Seth Freaking Rollins, no, you see, I see a man who had the WWE Universe boo him a few times, and he got all caught up in his own feelings, and thought it was justification to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. A man who got caught all in his feelings, and he said, well, you know what, this makes it right for me to take Rey Mysterio’s eye, or  maybe have your guy over here go after Aleister Black’s eye. What would you have to done to me, last week, if my man Dom didn’t show up, Seth? It’s sad. And the saddest thing of all is, I’m watching Seth Freaking Rollins give a young man with zero to no training, no choice, but to face him in the ring.

Seth Rollins: Woah, you said so many things wrong, but that’s where I got to stop you. No choice? Are you kidding me? No choice? I’ve given him a choice, every step of the way, and he’s made the wrong decision. I gave his dad a choice, every step of the way, and he made the wrong decision, the same goes for Aleister Black, and it might go for you, too, if you make the wrong choice. You know who’s really had no choice in this whole thing? Seth Freaking Rollins, that’s who. And i’m not one to play the victim card, but I’m the one who had no choice, you understand that? I’m the one who’s been force into this situation. I tried to be Mr. Burn It Down, I tried to be Seth Freaking Rollins, and guess what happened? I got crapped on, I got crapped on by every single person here, every person watching at home. I had no choice in becoming The Monday Night Messiah. I had no choice in making sacrifices, necessary, for the greater damn good. And I got to ask, I got to know, when is it going to be enough? When is it going to be enough, for you, for anyone? When is it finally going to be enough?

Dominik Mysterio: It’s never gonna be enough.

Seth Rollins: Excuse you?

Dominik Mysterio: You heard me, Seth. You make excuses for all the ungodly things that you do. Aleister, isn’t the same. My father’s confidence, isn’t the same. You changed the lives of good men, for the worst. And you used the greater good, as an excuse, but the greater good that you fight for, is for yourself.

Seth Rollins: You are so ungrateful You are here, on the cusp of filling your dream in becoming a WWE Superstar, and you don’t even understand that is all because of me. You should be on your knees, thanking me, you understand that?

Dominik Mysterio: You’re right, Seth, this was my dream. But now, my dream is to kick your ass at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins: Okay, look, we both know, we all know that you wouldn’t last 10 seconds, in a regular, standard, one on one wrestling match with me. I am the best wrestler of my generation, there’s no question about it, Joe. However, i’m gonna do you a little favor, you seem to be pretty handy with that little kendo stick. So, how about at SummerSlam, you could bring that with you, you could use it however you see fit, that or any tool in the box, as a matter of fact. I want you to have every opportunity at your disposal, so that you and your family have no excuse, when I end your career, before it ever begins.

Congratulations, let’s give a big round of applause for the newest WWE Superstar, Dominik Mysterio. Now, get the hell out of my ring, because I’ve got a match with your little buddy Humberto Carrillo, up next. So pay your dues, grab a seat out here, take some notes, and get ready for what you are forcing me to do to you, in two weeks at SummerSlam.

Zelina Vega Promo

Cut the music. All week, i’ve been hearing, Zelina, how could you poison Montez Ford? How could you be so evil? Why would do such a thing? Well, clearly people have forgotten the whole, innocent until proven guilty. Shut up before I turn those masks into muzzles, shut up. Listen, i’ve been screaming this until my voice was hoarse, but I had nothing to do with Montez Ford’s poisoning. No, what kind of a manager would I be if I ruined the most important opportunity in my associates career?

Unlike most women, I don’t thrive off of my men’s success, I create it. Bianca BelAir, well, she could learn a lot from me about keeping her men in line, and keeping herself in check, because I don’t appreciate her putting her hands on me, last week. The Street Profits want the smoke, that’s fine, they could have that, but we want the Raw Tag Team Titles. And i’ll say this, one more time, I had nothing to do with Montez Ford’s poisoning, but Andrade and Angel Garza will have everything to do with taking the Raw Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam.

The VIP Lounge With Special Guest: Apollo Crews

MVP: Tonight is a very different episode of The VIP Lounge. I’m not in a celebratory mood. So we won’t be popping bottles because the only thing I want to pop is certain people in the mouth. As a matter of fact, I think me and my colleagues would like to pop, ligaments and tendons. I never miss an opportunity to be the guy that says, I told you so. But I told you so. I told you that there was a conspiracy taking place. I told you something was going on.

You got mysterious happenings in the back, generators getting set on fire, and lights flickering on and off during my match? I am a seasoned veteran, and a world class athlete, a professional of the highest order. How am I supposed to win championships in these unsafe working conditions? No, Apollo never beat me. The lights beat me. As a matter of fact, where are you at now Apollo? I know it’s you, because that’s the only way you could beat me. How come you’re not blinking the lights now?

Apollo Crews: Are you serious man? Here you go, MVP, always making excuses. You lose match, it’s somebody else’s fault. You lose this beautiful title that is over my shoulder, it’s somebody else’s fault.

MVP: You think that’s funny?

Apollo Crews: I do, I really do think it’s funny.

MVP: You know what, that’s your problem. I tried to help you. What you are, Apollo, is a serial bad decision maker. All you do is make bad decisions one after another, like the bad decision you made coming out here by yourself against the three of us.

Apollo Crews: All right, P, you might be right. You know, sometimes I do make bad decisions, that’s true. But i’m allowed to make bad decisions. Yes, cuz I am a bad man. As a matter of fact, you told me what you don’t care about. You told me that you don’t care about me. You said you don’t care about my family, my kids. Well, let me tell you what I don’t care about. I don’t care about Shelton Benjamin. I don’t care about Bobby Lashley. Well, P, I do care about you. And you talk about lights flickering. Randy Orton & Ric Flair Segment:

Randy Orton: Wait a minute. Ric, don’t go anywhere, just yet. I would like to ask a favor of you, my friend, and that favor would be for you to stay put, because there’s something we need to talk about. On top of that, we need to celebrate too, my friend. So, stay put for now. Ric, I have every right to be upset with you, but I just can’t be angry at “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. I just can’t find it in my heart, but I have every right to be pissed off at you because this match with Kevin Owens, it wasn’t necessary. I was only in this fight with KO because your ego got me into this fight in the first place, last week. But I can’t be angry with you, man. You’re “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, that’s what you do, you are the dirtiest player in the game, i’ve known it for a very long time. I have learned so much from you. I grew up with you around. And for the past 20 years, you’ve been there, you’ve had my back, you’ve been right there, you taught me everything you know, and you’re one of the reasons why i’m in this ring, still after 20 years.

I can’t be mad at The Nature Boy. Do you remember, I think it was back, 2002, 2003, Peoria, Illinois? I’ve gotten myself into a little bit of trouble, to say the least. And nobody came to my aid, nobody came to help me, nobody was there by my side, except one person, and it was you. You came and you bailed me out of the predicament, that only my dumbass, 22 year old punk ass could’ve gotten myself into, you were there. And not only did I respect you after all that, Ric, I loved you. But I don’t respect you anymore, Ric, I don’t love you anymore. I don’t respect you and I don’t love you, because you are a liability to me, in my career, and everything that i’m trying to get done, right now. You are a liability, and I realized this because I looked back, all those years ago, and you know what? I know why you took a young Randy Orton, under your wing. I know what you were thinking. You were thinking that I could be the son that you wish you had.

Oh, what’s that, Ric? Are those tears? Come on, you old ass man, all the energy that you could muster in your old ass is just enough to push a couple of tears out? That’s all you’re good for anymore, is crying. Go ahead, cry me a river, sob like a little baby. Go ahead, let’s see it. You’re not the Ric Flair that everybody here looked up from years ago. You’re not the Ric Flair that taught me everything that he knows. No, the Ric Flair that I looked up to, wouldn’t didn’t need a pacemaker inside his chest to make sure his heart kept on ticking. The Ric Flair that I know and looked up to wouldn’t slip into a coma, two summers ago. The Ric Flair that I always looked up to, for years, he wasn’t a whore for the spotlight like you are. You are a junkie for the spotlight. You have changed, you’re not the same, you are washed up, and you can’t do it anymore. At SummerSlam, in a few short weeks, I stand the opportunity to take that WWE Championship, and take it for the 14th time. And that’s the only thing you need to be concerned with, that’s it, but instead you’re too worried about yourself.

Ric Flair: I’m taking this, very personal. And I hear you, but I want to tell you a couple of things about me. Number One, that Ric Flair, that you came to see, to be with in 2001, he’s not here anymore, you’re right. Do I like the spotlight? Yeah. Do I like to call you the greatest, because you are? Yeah. Do I want to be part of the spotlight? Yes, who wouldn’t? I’m 71 years old. I’m on Raw. Do you know what that means? I got guys like Hogan calling me, like, how was it? I said, Hulk, it’s the greatest feeling in the world, because i’m with you. I’m here because I do want your approval, and I do want to be with you, because I want to be there when you win your 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th. I want you to break my record. Listen to me, not John Cena’s record, my record.

A record you grew up on, your dad knows it, driving 3,000 miles a week for $150, okay? How many millions of miles in the air, flying, one city after another? You know what that’s about, because you did it me. And you were at home when your dad was on the road, no cellphones back then, you know what I went through, that’s why I want you, who’s crawled from the bottom to the top. You are the greatest performer in the business, today, and I love being here with you. But i’ll tell you something, right now, you want to see me get emotional?

You know why I can’t get mad? Because after 31 days of being in intensive care, and being in that coma for 12 of them, I woke up, and all what I wanted out of life, was to tell the people who I hadn’t told that I loved them, and to make sure everybody that I loved, knew how I felt. I called around every place that mattered to me, because you have to be this close to where I was to know what that feeling is. And i’m not trying to take anything away from you. I’m just walking down the ramp with you, man, having a good time. All I am right now, I’m Charlotte’s Dad, and want to be part of Randy Orton’s life. I’ve been there, man. I ain’t Ric Flair anymore, you’re right, but i’m a big fan of you, and you’re the guy to break my record, that’s all I want.

Orton hugs Flair. Orton delivers the blow. Flair crumbles down to the mat. Orton plants Flair with The Punt. Drew McIntyre storms into the ring to prevent anymore damage. McIntyre stares at Orton to close the show.
