The Kevin Owens Show With Special Guests: Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and The Iconics

Kevin Owens: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Kevin Owens Show. Oh, yeah, I like that noise, that’s good. You know, there’s a lot of very interesting things happening tonight, one of them being the return of Shane McMahon. Now, I have plenty of thoughts on that, but that’s not what I want to talk about tonight. What I want to talk about tonight, is an issue that’s been ongoing for several months, and I want to bring out one of the people involved. She’s a very talented woman, a good friend of mine, please welcome Ruby Riott. Let’s sit, sitting is good, there we go. How are ya? Thanks for being here. First of all, recently, you know, you beat Peyton Royce, it was your first victory in a little while. You got pretty emotional after that.

Ruby Riott: Kevin, I mean, it’s no secret, you know, I’ve had pretty bad luck since I came back. I haven’t been able to secure a singles win since February. And, The Iconics have done their best to grind salt right into that wound. You know, I’ve dealt with women like, The Iconics, pretty much my entire life. Toxic, sad brauds, that gotta bring people down just to build themselves back up. But last week, I finally got to shut up Peyton Royce, and put an end to The Iconic bullshit.

Kevin Owens: That’s no easy task, you should be proud.

Ruby Riott: But, the only thing that could made that moment better, is if Liv was out to celebrate with me.

Kevin Owens: Well, I’m sorry, I got a little excited. Speaking of Liv, she’s actually about to come out, right now, Liv. Hi, thanks for coming, thank you.

Liv Morgan: Um, you asked me to listen to what you have to say. And, Kevin convinced me to be here, so let’s hear it, Ruby.

Kevin Owens: Okay, just real quick, before Ruby tells you what she has to say. Liv, here’s the thing, okay, I asked you guys to be here because, you know, I saw you guys when you started in the WWE, right. The three of you, you guys and Sarah. And, you guys were great, you had something special. And now Sarah has moved on to another part of her life, but just because of that, it doesn’t mean what you guys built should just be done with. Look, we traveled the world together, i’ve been on busses with you guys, on flights, i’ve seen you guys together. You’re great individuals, but look, I think you guys bring the best out of each other. And I speak by experience, I’ve done a lot of really crappy things to a lot of people, I’ve said a lot of crappy things, i’ve lost friendships, and it was always because I thought it was better for my career. And right now, I can stand in this ring, and look at both of you, and say I don’t know if it was really worth it. So, listen, I know this might be a bit cheesy, I’m not saying you guys have to be friends, i’m just saying it’s worth hearing Ruby out, that’s all.

Ruby Riott: When I came back, I thought everything was gonna be the same, and I was wrong. Everything was different, this place was different, and you were different. But you were thriving, and you were coming into your own, and I thought maybe you didn’t need me, and that hurt. And then you beat me, Liv, you beat me, twice. And then I realized, maybe you didn’t need me at all. And this world that I came back to, without Sarah, without being needed, I wasn’t ready for it, and I took it out on you, and I’m so sorry, because that was wrong, Liv, that was wrong. But every time I look at this tattoo, and I know you have it in the back of your neck, it’s the day my life changed, forever. It’s our debut date, Liv. All i’m asking for is another chance, another chance for The Riott Squad to be stronger than it’s ever been.

– The Iconics comes out to interrupt The Riott Squad.

Kevin Owens: I had nothing to do with that.

Peyton Royce: Don’t interrupt me. Everyone is sick of hearing the two of you, babble on about who knows what, because no one cares. Liv, you should’ve stayed in the bath tub.

Billie Kay: Ruby, we’re so tired of all the social media posts about your one emotional victory over Peyton. Ruby Riott finally found a way to win after, what was it, 400 losses. How about facts over emotion?

Peyton Royce: I’ll give you a fact. We have dominated the tag team division.

Billie Kay: The Iconics conquered WrestleMania.

Peyton Royce: And The Iconics have been, and always will be, better than the two of you. Actually, if you look up BFFs in the dictionary, you’ll find a picture of The Iconics.

Liv Morgan: You know what? You’re right. We’re not friends like you guys are. And, it’s true, Ruby and I are NOT iconic. But there’s one thing that we’ll always agree on, and that’s no one starts a riot better than us.

Kevin Owens: So, here’s the thing, I think their message was pretty clear. Unless you guys have something better to say, maybe you could just leave, and we can carry on with our business.

Peyton Royce: You think you’re a team? You got nothing on The Iconics. Right now.

Ruby Riott: You want a match, right now?

Kevin Owens: Hey, can we get some more technical difficulties for their mics only, please?

– The Iconis slaps Owens in the face.

Kevin Owens: Was that really necessary? Ladies, a little help, please.

The Riott Squad starts brawling with The Iconics to close the segment.

Drew McIntyre & Randy Orton Segment

Drew McIntyre: Randy Orton, has spent 20 years, preying on vulnerability. He’s not the kind of guy that would, show you how he felt or maybe a finger gesture like Stone Cold Steve Austin. He’s not the kind of guy that would, rip off his elbow pad, throw it in the second row, drop a people’s elbow like The Rock. Now, according to Randy last week, he’s way better than those guys. He’s the kind of man, that would wait till you finished an Extreme Rules match, slither in the back door, and hit you with an RKO, out of nowhere. You know what? That’s not me. You warned me, Randy. You told me it was coming, and it happened, so thank you for that education, lesson learned, that will never happen again.

Randy, I know how motivated you are right now, you’re just as motivated to take my WWE Title as I am to keep it. The similarities, they don’t end there, do they? Once upon a time, at one time or another, Vince McMahon himself looked at us, right in the eye, and told us that we were the chosen one, we were the future of the industry. Now things didn’t quite go to plan. I think Edge said it best, this wasn’t your Plan A. I don’t know if it was your Plan B, or you Plan C or your Plan D, to be honest. You didn’t lie awake in Scotland as a kid, a country of 5 million people, thinking about how you were going to make to the WWE. To be the first one in your country to ever do it. To grow up to have everybody calling your crazy for dreaming so big, giving everything you could, sacrificing everything, and finally pulling that off, did you, Randy?

It was handed to you. I don’t resent you for it, no, I do find it interesting, though, when you brag about some of your early accolades, your early accolades i’m talking about it, you know, the ones that were fed to you on a silver spoon because your dad is Cowboy Bob Orton. I never rode in a limo with Evolution, not that I wanted to. You know, the biggest thing, the most important part, I never had anybody cleaning up after me, like Evolution did for you. I had nobody with the influence of an Evolution. When I made my mistakes, I was punished for them, in fact, I was fired for them. I’ve said it already, I deserved to get fired. But I have spoke to so many people around here, over my years, I witness so much when I was younger. I’ve spoken to people that cleaned up the crap, the legit crap that you left behind and made, you should’ve been fired way more times than I was fired.

Randy Orton: I’m gonna stop you right there, Drew, I’m gonna stop you right there, and i’m gonna ask you, is my respect for you not enough? Just last week, I came out to this ring, and I told the entire world, that you had my respect. But you choose to come out here, you choose to repay me by telling the world, in turn, that I was handed everything, that I don’t even want to be here? Let me ask you something, Drew, if I didn’t want to be here, then why the hell am I here? I’ve made my money. I’m here because I want to be here. I’m here because I enjoy coming down to that ring, each and every week, hitting people with RKO’s and punt kicking head.

Now, I enjoy, I appreciate your fighting spirit, I truly do, which is why it’s gonna be that much more sweet at SummerSlam, when I hit you with an RKO, punt kick you in the skull, and take that WWE Title away from you. Now, you say, you say that I should’ve been fired, years ago. You’re right, I should’ve been fired. Over and over again, I should’ve been fired, multiple times. But I wasn’t fired, you were fired. You want to know why? Because I am more valuable to this company than you ever were or ever will be. I have been given chance after chance, second chances, third chances, four, five, six, the list goes one. I have been given those chances, Drew, because I am the chosen one, then, now, and forever. Now, I think it’s cute, it’s real cute, you come out here, and you are quoting legends. But I dare you, in fact, I challenge you, right now, in this moment, on the mic, in this ring, to come up with one opinion about Randy Orton, on your own. Key word, original.

Drew McIntyre: You’re challenging me? You want to know what Drew McIntyre really thinks? You want Drew McIntyre to shoot with you, Randy? Okay, Randy, I think you represent everything that is wrong with the WWE. Just like everyone else, I watched The Last Ride Documentary, the most interesting part of all to me, was you. You talked about how The Undertaker, reached down and pulled you up to his level, and he didn’t have to do that. Why did he do that? He loves this industry, he wants to preserve this industry, he cares about the future. How many times can Randy Orton, honestly say over the past 20 years, he’s taken a moment to reach down and pull up anybody to his level? Never.

Have you ever sat down with, I don’t know, Kevin Owens, Apollo, Ricochet, Ali, anybody in the back and passed on some of that knowledge that The Undertaker, that Shawn Michaels, that Triple H, that Ric Flair ever passed onto you, huh? I’ve got one. How about 10 years ago, you remember, there was a time in your career, you were in a hole, Edge reached down and pulled you out. I remember you, walking past me, as I sat in catering. My world was crumbling around me, professionally, personally.

You knew that, I was far away from home, my mother was sick, I was self destructing, and a kind word from somebody like Randy Orton might have changed my life, and you didn’t do a damn thing. I don’t see a leader standing before me. I don’t see somebody the boys in the back respect. I see a selfish prick. Here’s what’s gonna happen at SummerSlam, Randy, I have whole bunch of receipts to cash in. A bunch of receipts from me, from some of the guys on the current roster, some of them are former superstars, every legend that you ever kicked in the damn head. At SummerSlam, Randy, I’m gonna rip off your head. And I promise you, I swear to you, Randy, you sure as hell will see it coming.

Raw Underground Part II Featuring The Viking Raiders

Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, and Dominic Segment

Seth Rollins: Before I issue a statement regarding Dominic Mysterio and his challenge, myself and Murphy, we have some, let’s call it, house keeping to attend to. Tom Phillips, if you don’t mind, I would like to ask you a few questions. Do you consider yourself a professional, Tom? Do you consider yourself an unbiased journalist? Do you take pride in your job, Tom, in your body of work, shall we say? Let me ask you this, what were you doing last week, when Rey Mysterio’s stupid kid was assaulting me with a kendo stick, Tom?

Let me restore your memory, Tom, you were cheering him on, you were inciting his rage, do you understand what that means, Tom? Look, your voice matters, all right? What you say, matters. You are the voice of Monday Night Raw. So, you are part of the greater of good, whether you like it or not. What you say is important, because the people at home, they hear what you say, it goes into their little brains, and then that is what they think. It is your job to call it down the middle, Tom, not to skew things, not to slant things, because when you do that, you are creating bias, and you are doing a poor job. And if you are doing a poor job, Tom, then you become a liability. So, I think the time has come to find a new voice of Monday Night Raw. Murphy, take him.

Samoa Joe: Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen, gentlemen. Let’s be honest here, hey, what you think, you think you’re gonna walk over here and bully my broadcast partner, Seth? You think you’re gonna bring him (Murphy) around and that’s gonna make a difference? Let me make this very clearly for you, you could walk back in that ring and make the point you came to make or I could slap you in lips and beat down your disciple in front of you, and we could figure this out, another way. And if you’re worried about Tom, and how hard he was laughing, let me make this real clear, Seth, I was laughing harder than anybody at this table.

Seth Rollins: Joe, you do not want to do this.

Samoa Joe: Well, Seth, I do.

Seth Rollins: All right, Joe, you want to do this, then you get in this ring, and what happens in here is not my responsibility.

Dominic Mysterio clocks Rollins and Murphy from behind with a kendo stick. Dominic with a double leg takedown. Dominic transitions into a ground and pound attack. Dominic with a Wrecking Ball Dropkick. Dominic connects with The 619. Dominic follows that with a Flying Crossbody Block to the outside.
