Chris Jericho & Orange Cassidy Segment 

Chris Jericho: Le champion is here. And last week, right here on AEW Dynamite, I had one of the best matches in AEW history against Orange Cassidy. But not only did I win the match, I also won the ratings war as well, just like I do every single week. Let me show you and explain to you how ratings work, little kids. Of course it’s great to have the overall win in viewers, but the most important thing is the 18 to 49 demographic, the demo. And le champion has never, ever been beaten in that demo. I’m the king of the ratings, man. I’m le champion of the demo. I am The Demo God. But like I said, it was great to be in the ring with Orange Cassidy, one of the best matches i’ve had in a long time. And everybody is saying the same thing. Le champion, we loved that match, we saw something in Orange Cassidy that we’ve never see before, ever. He looked like a star just being in the ring with you, le champion. And I said, yeah, that’s true.

But I know what the people want, I understand the concept of drawing money. And i’ll say this, Orange Cassidy wants a rematch, the network wants a rematch, all the advertisers in the important demo wants a rematch. Everybody watching right now wants a rematch. You want a rematch, huh? You want to see a rematch, Jericho vs. Cassidy II, right? Well, if you want a rematch, you aren’t getting one. Orange had his chance, man, he had a chance, he did good, but not good enough, right? He took me to the edge. He did a great job. I’m scared? You think i’m scared? Huh, you think i’m scared of some little dweeb with sunglasses and a denim jacket? The Demo God is never scared. And that’s why there will never be a rematch between Jericho and Cassidy.

So Orange, congratulations buddy, so enjoy the fact that you got stand in the ring with le champion, one night. And now you can go back to hugging your best friends and remembering what it was like to be a real main eventer. Here’s to you, Orange, and one for your dead career. Shut your mouth, shut up. All right, Orange, I get it. You wanna hear from my mouth, face to face? I’m gonna tell you what I really think of you now. Like I said, you showed the world that you could really go. You did great, Orange. But overall, you don’t have what it takes to be with le champion. You’re lazy. You got a bad attitude. You’re a sloth. You’re entitled. So, i’ll say it one more time, Orange, there will never be a rematch. So, take those sunglasses, fold them up, ad shove them straight up your ass. And then you can get the hell out of my arena. Go. I said get the hell out of my arena, you piece of shit. You’re gonna give us the thumbs down, huh? What are you gonna do, Orange? What are you gonna do? You got nothing.
