Miz TV With Special Guest: Jeff Hardy

The Miz: Welcome to the most must see WWE talk show in history, Welcome To — MIZ TV! Our guest tonight has inspired generations of superstars to reach for the stars.

John Morrison: He’s a man with better face paint than 1993 Doink The Clown.

The Miz: A daredevil, who battles his demons, one day at a time.

John Morrison: Because he has a hard time remembering what happened yesterday.

The Miz: A true trailblazer in the world of sports entertainment.

John Morrison: Emphasis on the word “blaze”

The Miz: Are you taking this seriously?

John Morrison: I didn’t know this was a serious episode of MIZ TV!

The Miz: Every episode is a serious MIZ TV, thank you. Our guest tonight, is one of the most decorated WWE Superstars in history, and he’s a shoe in, for the Hall Of Fame.

John Morrison: A man who, seriously, pioneered dance moves like the dougie, the whip and the nae-nae.

The Miz: What? Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, The Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy. Jeff, thank you very much for coming on the show. And, first and foremost, I want to apologize for what John Morrison said.

John Morrison: And I want to apologize if Miz misunderstood my enthusiasm about you, Jeff.

The Miz: And speaking of enthusiasm, we hear that you have an incredible, amazing clip.

Jeff Hardy: What clip? I don’t have a clip.

The Miz: You don’t have a clip?

Jeff Hardy: I don’t have a clip.

The Miz: He doesn’t have the clip, do you have the clip? We have a clip. Should we show a clip?

Jeff Hardy: Yeah, roll the clip.

The Miz: Roll the clip.

– This clip is chronicling Hardy’s rivalry with Sheamus.

The Miz: Wow, what a clip. That was a clip. Very unconventional, I mean, normally when, you know, a hero overcomes their personal demons, and gets their life back on track, they end up a winner. Jeff Hardy, always the rule breaker.

Jeff Hardy: Yeah, if y’all keep this up, i’m about to break something.

The Miz: Woah, Woah, Woah. Jeff, we just want to have a friendly conversation, we’re just trying to find what makes Jeff Hardy tick. And to be completely honest, you’re my daughters favorite superstar. And honestly, I don’t even know if she knows what’s going on, she just loves the bright colors, and there is nobody brighter than Jeff Hardy. But, she doesn’t know about the darkness that’s inside you, the darkness you’ve been so honest about. And, as a dad, I don’t want her to put faith in someone who’s gonna self destruct again and let her down.

Jeff Hardy: That’s awesome, Miz, was there a question in there, somewhere?

The Miz: Yes, Jeff, are you okay? Sheamus has been taunting you, he’s been poking at you, he even tried to make you drink last week. And then not to mention, at Backlash, you lost, it has to be eating away at you.

Jeff Hardy: Yeah, i’m okay. You know, i’ve been through hell and back, man, with this addiction thing. I have been to a dark place that you guys can’t even imagined. Look, it’s gonna take a lot more than taunts from Sheamus to drive me back to where I was, okay?

The Miz: Really? Sheamus isn’t in your head? That lost at Backlash isn’t eating away at you?

Jeff Hardy: I’m an emotional dude, man, I mean, i’d be lying if I said that Sheamus doesn’t bother me, i’d be lying if I said his words don’t get under my skin, i’d be lying if I said the lost at Backlash didn’t bother me, because it does. I’ve got to do everything in my power to destroy Sheamus, so that I could finally put my past behind me. I’ll tell you what, man, I think i’m gonna stand out with this because i’m gonna be a beacon of light to anybody that watches me on TV, that struggles with addiction on the day-to-day, and i’m gonna help them through hard times, because i’m gonna show that change is possible. Hope is real. And there is a life beyond their wildest dreams, waiting for them if they could stay sober.

John Morrison: Check this out, goosebumps.

The Miz: That was incredible. And I am so glad that you came on this show, because I feel like we’ve made some progress, and we want to help you. We think you that need to redeem yourself. You need a rematch with Sheamus. But not just any rematch, you need one, not inside a WWE ring. You need to be in a place where you have the home field advantage, a place where you feel most secured, where you are guaranteed to do your best work. You need to face Sheamus, in a BAR FIGHT!

John Morrison: Think of the symbolism, you fight your physical enemy, Sheamus, and your metaphorical enemy, alcohol, at the same time.

Jeff Hardy: I actually love it, yes, like a handicap match, right? The Alcohol and The Celtic Butthole, I mean, come on, this all makes sense to me now. It’s why I’m out here, right? Sheamus put you up to this? He gets me in a bar fight and i’m destined to crumble. That’s where he’s wrong, I’m never going back to where I was. I am gonna take Sheamus out, in that Bar Fight, whether he likes it or not. Prove once and for all, that I am on the right path to redemption, i’m on my way to success, once more. And i’m never letting any of y’all down again, okay? So, you can tell Sheamus, I accept. Hey, since we’re throwing out challenges, I mean, why don’t I throw out another one out? You know, between you guys, I mean, who’s it gonna be? I mean you didn’t think that you’d invite me on your little show, and mock me in my face, and not get punch in yours, right?

The Miz: Honestly, yes. It’s my show.

Jeff Hardy: Well, guys, i’m sorry, I have disappointed people again.

Hardy starts brawling with Miz and Morrison to close the segment.
