Undisputed Therapy

Adam Cole, Finn Balor, Keith Lee, Johnny Gargano, and William Regal In-Ring Segment

Adam Cole: 381 days. Let me say that one more time. 381 days and not one of those days have I taken it for granted. You want to know why? Because I know without question I am the hardest working, greatest champion in this business. For 381 days people have tried to knockdown Adam Cole. And for 381 days, they have failed. Which makes it beyond mind numbing that people think they can just throw their names into a hat and automatically that means they deserve a shot at my NXT Championship. It does not work that way, boys. For an example, look at Karrion Kross. Very impressive performance. He beat one of the baddest men that NXT has to offer in Tommaso Ciampa. But guess what, Karrion?

Been there, done that. Karrion Kross has been here for what, five minutes? Karrion Kross has a long way to go before he earns the right to step into the ring with me. Which brings me to you, Keith Lee. You said you had your eyes on my NXT Championship. Guess what big man? I had my eyes on something, too, the NXT North American Championship. Now, please don’t forget, I am the first ever, greatest NXT North American Champion there has ever been. Maybe I will feel like carrying the North American Championship for 381 days. Maybe I want two championships over these shoulders. Maybe after I beat you Keith Lee, you can refer to me as champ-champ, BAY-BAY.

Johnny Gargano: Wow, what a cool moment between you two. I hate to break it to you. Johnny doesn’t care about moments anymore. He cares about results. And the result last week was me pinning you one, two, three. Keith, I am coming after that North American Championship. But why stop there. I am the first triple crown champion in NXT history and it’s about time I get the title reign that I deserve. Candice and I are going to make history. We are going to be the first ever married couple to be NXT Champion and Women’s Champion at the same time. Then maybe you can call me, Johnny Champ-Champ. How about that?

Keith Lee: John, boy, how is Candice doing?

Johnny Gargano: She’s doing great, thanks for asking, I mean, after what you did last week.

Keith Lee: You mean what you did because I seem to recall that I was more concerned about her than you were. And I remember specifically when I picked up her little body, I will never forget this as a tear almost shed from my eye and she whispered to me, thank you, Mr. Limitless, that’s the most action I got all year.

Johnny Gargano: You’re a liar. I was there, that didn’t happen. Quit being weird.

Finn Balor: Well, now that Finn is here, I guess you guys can stop being marks for yourselves and go back to being a mark for me. Keith, I am not sure if you heard me last week, so I am going to tell you again. I have held titles all over the world But the NXT North American Championship is a title that I never held.

Johnny Gargano: First of all, my name is Johnny, not mark. Remind me again, were you a triple crown champion like I was? Because I don’t think so, buddy.

Finn Balor: Johnny, I am nothing like you. I don’t wait in line. I cut right to the front. Big man, this isn’t a challenge. This is a warning. I am going to take that title. And when I do, i’m coming right for you. Adam, you have been a great little transitional champion.

Adam Cole: Wait a minute. Transitional champion? Are you kidding me? Finn, i’m the one who beat your old record. This is perfect, this is your career in a nutshell. You show up somewhere, you are king for a little while and then I show up and I pass you by. What was that? What are you doing?

Finn Balor: That’s exactly where I am going to punch you.

William Regal: Gentlemen, hello, yes, I love all of this. The passion, the competition, and you have given me an idea where I think everyone wins. Next week, Keith Lee will defend his North American Championship against Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor in a triple threat match. And I haven’t forgotten about you, Adam, because whoever walks away as the North American Champion will face you, Adam Cole, on July 8th, Champion vs. Champion, Winner Takes All.
