The VIP Lounge With Special Guests: Asuka, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

MVP: Welcome to Monday Night Raw. And welcome back to The VIP Lounge. Now, first things first. I just wanna be honest. Last week on The VIP Lounge, things went a little sideways. It was a special episode featuring the Raw men’s competitors in the Money In The Bank Match. However, there are things that didn’t exactly go according to plan. Unless you consider the plan a chaotic brawl that tore up my VIP Lounge. We’ve moved on from that.

This week, we’re gonna return to style, sophistication, and class with the women’s Raw competitors in the Money In The Bank Match. And, well, i’ll be honest with you, I’m really not sure how things are gonna work out tonight because the last time these three women were in the ring together, this is what happened. So without further ado, let’s see the Raw Money In The Bank Women’s Competitors, and we’re gonna start with Asuka. She is very happy, thank you. Our next competitor, Shayna Baszler.

And finally, Nia Jax. Okay ladies, first of all, let me thank you for being here, I want you to make yourselves comfortable, relaxed. Because Sunday, the three of you will be way out of your comfort zones, in the most unique Money In The Bank Match in the history of WWE. Nia, you’re without question, the most dominant force in this matchup. Do you think that you have the skillset to make it from the first floor, to the roof, and then to the top of the ladder to obtain the contract in the Money In The Bank Match?

Nia Jax: Skillset? Do you even pay attention to Monday Night Raw? Have you not seen me dominate the last few weeks? Destroy every opponent they put in front of me? I’m relentless, and that’s the only skill I need to dominate and destroy my opponents, this Sunday.

MVP: Asuka, would you care to respond?

Asuka: Very rude, big bully.

MVP: Okay, that was very clear. Shayna, you are first and foremost, a cage fighter, with a very unique set of skills of your own. How will those skills help you in the Money In The Bank Match?

Shayna Baszler: Opera non verba.

MVP: I need to brush up on my latin.

Shayna Baszler: Okay, let me spell it out for you. Unique skillset, no. What’s unique about me is that I do all my talking with my actions. And that is the biggest difference between me and every other competitor in this match. Isn’t that right, Asuka?

Asuka and Baszler kicks Nia Jax out of the ring. MVP has to separate Asuka and Baszler to close the segment.

AJ Styles Promo

I’m not a zombie, I’m not a ghost, it is me, The Phenomenal, AJ Styles. And there’s no Undertaker to try to steal my spotlight, not this time. Yea, that’s right. Yea, I got buried, so what? So what? I admit it, I understand it, but that doesn’t mean I lost. It doesn’t mean that I lost anything. There’s no rules in a Boneyard Match, no rules at all. But that was then, and this is now. And I have ceased an opportunity. You see, I am now in the most unique Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and it’s worth it.

In fact, i’m gonna do anything, and I mean, anything to get that money in the bank contract. If that means throwing Rey Mysterio or Aleister Black, off the top of WWE Headquarters, then so be it. They haven’t been what I’ve been through, they haven’t seen what I have seen. So get ready to rewrite the history books, on the greatest moments in Money In The Bank history. Because the truth is, AJ Styles will be number one, because I’m winning that contract, where i’m guaranteed an opportunity at the WWE Championship. Finally then, when I get that contract, Mr Money In The Bank can be phenomenal.

Seth Rollins Exclusive Interview

Charly Caruso: Seth, thanks for taking sometime to sit-down. Now, before you challenge Drew McIntyre, this Sunday at the Money In The Bank PPV, your disciple, Murphy, will face the WWE Champion, tonight. So, any last minute predictions you have?

Seth Rollins: Charly, whatever is meant to be, will be. Now, with that said, I do have the utmost confidence in my disciple, Murphy.

Charly Caruso: How do you prepare for a WWE Title Match against someone as dominant as Drew McIntyre

Seth Rollins: It’s an interesting question because Drew is a dominant champion. He’s a fighter, he’s a warrior, he is an honorable man. But i’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again, he is not a leader. And it is not his destiny, to be the champion that takes us into the future. It is mine. And so what you’re really asking is, how am I preparing to meet my destiny? Drew McIntyre is gonna put a hell of a fight at Money In The Bank.

The WWE Championship just means too much to him, but I am willing to sacrifice myself for the greater good. That is my destiny. And look, everyone thinks that i’m trying to take something from Drew McIntyre. But that’s just not true. That’s not the case, because being a champion and being a leader is more than just what you do in this ring. You represent an entire generation, and all the generations that came before you, you represent an entire industry. That is your responsibility to be that champion, to be that leader.

And Drew is not ready for the pain and suffering, and the agony, and the despair that comes with being a champion, both mentally and physically. He’s not ready, and so i’m not trying to crush Drew’s dreams. I’m not trying to take anything from him. I am trying to unburden him, to take the weight off of his shoulders and to put it on my own. I am trying to save Drew McIntyre, and that is the absolute truth. And at Money In The Bank, my destiny will become a reality when I stand in this ring. When I stand in this ring with my hand held high, and the announcement rings true. And new WWE Champion, The Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins.

Aleister Black Promo

Tell me how it felt, AJ. As a matter of fact, hell, all of us, how it felt? How did it feel to be buried six feet deep? All alone in that darkness, clawing for a way out, being swallowed by darkness. I’ll tell you one thing that it didn’t do, I didn’t make you exactly more humble, did it? No, because now you’re talking about throwing me off a building this Sunday. Well, AJ, if you somehow manage, if you somehow find a way throw me off this building, pray that I don’t get back up, because I’ll climb that ladder and I will take that money in the bank contract. And when that happens, you’ll wish that you’d be buried deeper than just six feet.

Rey Mysterio Promo

I’ve been a WWE Superstar long enough to know what to expect before any match. With the exception of this Sunday when I compete in the most unique Money In The Bank Ladder Match in history. For the first time ever, this match will not take place in the ring. This match will take place at the WWE Headquarters. Six men and six women will fight at the very same time from the ground floor to the roof of the corporate tower to reach the briefcase at the top of the headquarters. Yeah, I said roof. One bad decision, one wrong move and that’s all I wrote. This is by far the riskiest match of my career. But that briefcase contains a contract, for a championship match, any time, any place which makes me realize that my career is closer to the end, than the beginning. I really don’t know how many championship opportunities I have left. And yes, it’s risky but, the risk is worth the reward.

– Jinder Mahal Vignette.

Charlotte Flair & Liv Morgan Promo

Charlotte Flair: I am the hardest working woman in any industry. Ever since I won the NXT Women’s Championship, for the second time, i’ve been pulling double duty. I’ve been working Mondays and Wednesdays. So this Wednesday, I will be facing the number one contender, Io Shirari. If you don’t know, Io, Io has wrestled all over the world. A few weeks ago, she won a brutal ladder match, making her the number one contender, giving her the opportunity to face me. But on top of all that, you know what Io said? She said that Charlotte Flair was her dream opponent. Man, that makes me happy. You know why? Because I get to make Io’s dreams come true when she has the privilege of bowing down to the queen.

Liv Morgan: Oh, hey, Queen. Remember me? Think really, really hard.

Charlotte Flair: I’m thinking you want my attention, and i’m thinking that you want me to take the new Liv Morgan serious.

Liv Morgan: Wow, I don’t need you to take me seriously, for taking a minute to figure who I am or who I wanna be. Wow, Char, not all of us are born with silver fricking spoons shoved in our mouths. I also didn’t have a daddy to walk me to school, let alone to the front of the line of my career choice. But it’s okay because I don’t want you to worry about me figuring out who I am because sooner or later, I’m gonna be a champion. And Char, if that means I have to knock down a couple backstabbers or dethrone a self entitled queen, well, blessed be.

Charlotte Flair: You don’t know who you are. But you see, Liv, I know who I am. Yes, I am Ric Flair’s daughter, yes, I was born with a silver spoon, and guess what? I am damn proud of it. And here, you come out here being so authentic with your story. It’s a shame, because you’ve just said the same thing about me that i’ve been hearing for years. You know what I thought you were gonna say? I thought you were gonna come out here and tell me that I was your dream opponent, like Io said. No, but it’s because of you and Io, it’s the way you guys wanna compete with me. The both of you will bow down to the queen.
