Sami Zayn joins the commentary team for this match. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Reigns backs Nakamura into the ropes. The referee calls for a clean break. Nakamura with clubbing knee smashes. Nakamura with a knee drop. Nakamura sends Reigns across the ring. Reigns kicks Nakamura in the face. Reigns reverses out of the irish whip from Nakamura. Reigns scores the elbow knockdown. Reigns slams Nakamura’s head on two turnbuckle pads. Nakamura kicks Reigns in the chest. Reigns responds with a haymaker. Reigns hits The Samoan Drop for a two count. Reigns goes for The Drive By, but Nakamura ducks out of the way. Nakamura with a Step Up Enzuigiri. Nakamura has complete control of the match during the commercial break.

Nakamura applies a rear chin lock. Reigns gets back to a vertical base. Nakamura goes for The Reverse Exploder Suplex, but Reigns blocks it. Reigns decks Nakamura with a back elbow smash. Nakamura kicks Reigns in the jaw. Reigns uppercuts Nakamura in mid-air. Reigns with Two Clotheslines. Reigns is fired up. Reigns with Ten Corner Clotheslines. Reigns drops Nakamura with The Big Boot. Reigns plays to the crowd. Reigns goes for The SuperMan Punch, but Nakamura counters with The Cross-Arm-Breaker. Nakamura transitions into a Triangle Choke. Reigns refuses to quit. Reigns with a SitOut PowerBomb for a two count.

Zayn continues to run interference. Nakamura blocks a boot from Reigns. Nakamura kicks Reigns in the back of the head. Nakamura hits The Sliding German Suplex. Nakamura goes for The Kinshasa, but Reigns counters with The SuperMan Punch for a two count. King Corbin drills Reigns with the scepter which causes the disqualification. After the match, Corbin connects with The Deep Six. Corbin poses for the crowd. Daniel Bryan storms into the ring. Bryan ducks a clothesline from Corbin. Bryan sends Corbin tumbling to the floor. Bryan with a right hand to Nakamura. Bryan delivers The Missile Dropkick. Zayn trips Bryan from the outside. Nakamura drops Bryan with The Kinshasa.

Winner: Roman Reigns via Disqualification, but still WWE Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura 

The New Day & Heavy Machinery Backstage Segment 

Second Match: Chad Gable vs. Curtis Axel w/Bo Dallas 

Axel pats Gable on his head. Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Axel applies a wrist lock. Gable reverses the hold. Gable with a deep arm-drag. Gable applies an arm-bar. Axel brings Gable to the corner. Gable is distracted by Dallas. Axel attacks Gable from behind. Axel repeatedly stomps on Gable’s chest. Following a snap mare takeover, Axel with a Running Neck Snap for a two count. Axel drives his knee into Gable’s back. Axel applies an arm-bar. Axel with a knee lift. Gable rolls Axel over for a two count. Axel sends Gable to the ring apron. Gable drops Dallas with The Hook Kick. Gable slides under Axel. Axel goes for The Perfect Plex, but Gable counters with a Drop Toe Hold TakeDown. Gable makes Axel tap out to The Ankle Lock.

Tucker Knight and Dolph Ziggler will start things off. Ziggler goes for a single leg takedown, but Knight stands still. Ziggler is throwing haymakers at Knight. Dropkick Exchange. Knight tags in Dozovic. Knight kicks Roode in the gut. Heavy Machinery with Stereo Vertical Suplex’s. Big E and Dozovic shakes their hips. Wishbone Attack. Stereo OverHead Belly to Belly Suplex’s. Woods lands The SomerSault Plancha. Roode and Ziggler responds with their SpineBuster/Zig Zag Combination on the floor. The Revival are cutting the ring in half during the commercial break.
