Michael Cole, The New Day, and Kevin Owens In-Ring Segment:
Michael Cole is interviewing WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston. Cole is happy to be here to help Kofi celebrate a remarkable 11 year career. Did Kofi ever doubt that he would get his championship match at WrestleMania? Kofi has learned over the past 11 years that there are highs and lows. You have to fight through those lows and keep pushing to fight through. Kofi’s happy that he fought through because he’s your WWE Champion. He’s happy he got to do it standing next to his brothers, The New Day. Without them, it was not possible. They proved that the impossible was possible. Cole says that Kofi winning the WWE Title may be one of the greatest WrestleMania moments ever. Kofi indeed deserve it.
The emotions are still there and he cannot believe that he got to share that moment with his family in the ring. Next to the birth of his kids and getting married to his wife, winning the WWE Championship was the greatest moment in his life. Kofi has a major target on his back and Kevin Owens was the first to aim at the target. How did Kofi feel about Owens turning his back on The New Day last week? A lot of people said he should’ve seen it coming. A lot of the blame is on him because they may have been right. The New Day believes in giving people second chances if they want to change. They believed that Kevin Owens wanted to change, but Kevin Owens is going to be Kevin Owens. If Owens wanted a shot at the WWE Championship, all he had to do was ask.
How about we have Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank? Kofi isn’t afraid of Kevin Owens or losing the title. Kevin Owens makes his way to the stage. The challenge is accepted. Kofi did give everyone a WrestleMania moment that no one will forget. You won the title on the grandest stage of them all in front of your wife and kids. It doesn’t get any better than that. What a moment. The thing is that those moments end.Once you see the moment, they will not admit it, but the WWE Unvierse is thinking that none of them believe you are championship material. Owens looks into Kofi’s eyes and hears the words coming out of his mouth and even he don’t believe that he’s championship mater. Kofi is drowning and the water is rising. Xavier Woods attacks Owens from behind. Owens SuperKicks Woods. Owens heads to the backstage area.

The Kevin Owens Show
Welcome everyone to the Kevin Owens Show. The signs are gone, the graphics are gone, and the table is gone because the pageantry is what the New Day would have done. Owens doesn’t need that crap because this is Kevin Owens and this is his show. He’s the show and this is all you need. Before he was so rudely interrupted by Xavier Wood earlier tonight, Owens was trying to make a point. Kofi is in way over his head. He’s drowning. Don’t worry, help is on the way and he’s that help. At Money in the Bank, he will relieve Kofi of the burden he has been holding since WrestleMania.
Owens is positive that he’ll take the WWE Title from Kofi Kingston. Enough about Kofi. Owens had a great idea for a guest in Xavier Woods. We know all about Kofi, but he wants to know more about Woods. If Woods able or willing to talk, come out here and we can have a chat. Woods would finally have the spotlight on him. Woods doesn’t come out. Owens figured thar would happen, so he has a Plan B. Owens pulls out an Xavier Woods action figure. One of the many pieces of crap merchandise they have been shilling for years. What is wrong Little Woodsie?
Is it because you are lonely? You were part of a battle pack and there was something with you. It’s Big E. They are reunited at last. The real Woods and Big E are not here to tell them what’s on their minds and these are useless pieces of crap. Owens knows what’s really on their mind. Kofi Kingston appears on the stage. He’s livid. Owens and Kofi starts brawling around the ringside area. Kofi launches Owens over the announce table. Kofi dumps a chair on top of Owens. Kofi transitions into a ground and pound attack. Owens rakes the eyes of Kofi. Owens hightails out of the arena to close the show.
